I asked him if I could just come in and grab the one item I needed, he told me no. Meanwhile there was 6 other people still in the store walking around. I understand that due to weather stores close early but to close 20 minutes early gives off vibes that this employee just wanted to go home and it was not a weather factor, especially considering the snow fall was not even bad.

In a cross section done in the recent Coast 'Green Halifax' guide you can see that buying basic items such as: Speerville Mills oatmeal, apples, eggs, butternut squash and chicken-- can be found cheaper at Local Source Market, or at least on par with the Halifax Farmer's Market.
