Vegan Donair Pizza!! (No mozzarella at the time but they added extra meat )

Had never been to G-Street, and they have so many Veg options! Today when I went for the first time they didn't actually have any vegan cheese (shipment is the next day, it happens) but they just added more of all the other ingredients + brought more coconut donair sauce for me to drizzle on top and it was perfect. Amazing service, staff were very kind as well!

I was hesitant to order from here, as I am die hard Randy's fan when it comes to donairs. I should have listened to my gut instinct. The meat was so salty. Almost impossible to eat. Onions were sliced very large and it came as you can see in a take out container. The sauce was good. So good, that I'm thinking it's pre-made.

I love that Gottingen Street is offering so many eateries with vegan options. G-Street has quite a few vegan options on their menu, including donairs, a burger and of course pizza! Upon entering I was simply in love with the style and atmosphere of the restaurant. I love the dark colour scheme, the bottle chandeliers, giant gears on the wall and just about everything else you can see. The waitress was extremely pleasant and quick to serve us. My friend and I decided to order the Meat Haters pizza which comes with meatless pepperoni, sausage and vegan mozzarella. The food was prompt and smelled incredible. They offer vegan Good Parma at the table as well which is an awesome little touch. The pizza crust was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce was the perfect flavour and the vegan toppings were delicious. It was filling and satisfying. I think I loved everything about this place. I will definitely be back.

First timer ordering from G-Street but will not be the last. If there are aliens among us, this may be what they have come for. Had the Hipster and BBQ Chicken Signature pies and was received with massive appreciation from all recipients. The Hipster is a study into everything good about a veggie option and the BBQ Chicken brought a complex combination of flavors that made it impossible to have one slice. Highly recommend as long as your order does not get ahead of mine...

G-Street Pizza was a new place I went to try because a friend told me they had good wings and they weren't wrong about that. The wings were big and juicy and the outside coating was fried to perfection. Sauce was on the side; however, I preferred wings with sauce on them. Service was average and the group of us got so impatient that we went up to the counter to pay instead of waiting for the server to get back to us. Overall, it was a good experience and hopefully I'll get to try their pizza next time.

Well we ordered from here because we have had their pizza once before and really liked it. We ordered food to be delivered because we had a Zoom Christmas event. We called at 4:24pm and were told it would be around '5:00 pm or shortly after'. That was fine. We called at 5:33pm and were told the delivery guy had 2 orders, had left 30min ago and the other delivery was in Dartmouth! We are only 2km away from G Street in the opposite direction. We received our order one hour after it had left the restaurant and needless to say the crust was only warm at the very center, poutine was a stuck together mess -wings barely warm- calamari rubbery and not warm. The answer we got Re why send our order out when the guy is going to Dartmouth: " we can't just send him with one delivery." !

This place is great! Great location in the north end, right across from the Halifax north end library, it's a good spot to sit down for a short while if that's what you like, however, if you like to take your time, and have a long slow meal, they're cool with what YOU want to do and were extremely accomodating to my many requests. I got to work on work stuff on the new chrome-thingy, eat, have a beer (the Blonde that was suggested was, excellent), chicken wings (10 if I remember correctly) piping hot, I another beer after... Came to less than $55!!!! And I spent a long time there, and the staff did not mind it one bit... I'd go back again today!

Their wings are always good but now I know to order and call right away if it's delivery to ask if they can remove the green garnish lol

However, being situated as we are, and working downtown, getting to the 2 Crows and Yeah Yeahs mash-up location on Oxford is a bit more difficult and requires us to be more deliberate than with YY's home base. However, we did finally made it this summer, popping by after work to meet up with a friend who lives in the neighbourhood. It's surprisingly nice inside for a beer and pizza joint, with their pink-green-light wood palette reminding me of an Ottawa favourite of mine and my wife's, Cantina Gia. It's a welcome departure from the well-worn cliché of taprooms with an industrial vibe, and it's much more befitting the residential community that surrounds it. It was nice outside, but quite breezy, so we set up shop indoors. A long banquette with tables comprises the bulk of the seating, with stools along the bar across from it. My wife went with her old favourite, The White (parm, mozza, fior di latte, roasted mushrooms, green onion) while I split The Boss (mozza, onion, roasted red peppers, feta, sausage) with our friend. I was highly intrigued by 2 Crows' hard iced tea, and made that my pizza pairing. The hard iced tea was quite good, not too sweet, and had a refreshingly hit of light carbonation as well. This is a drink that you want in your hand on a hot summer day! Expansions at restaurants can go a lot of different ways; it's hard enough to make one successful restaurant, let alone duplicate the food and its success. While I can't speak to how the business is doing, the food, the food is great. Indistinguishable from the delicious pies at the Dartmouth location, my Boss (the pizza, not my manager at work) had a nice bit of char on the cornicione, a pleasant chew to the crust, and I just love the toppings on it; it just tastes the way a pizza should. It's got the sweet and mildly acidic tomato sauce, salty cheeses, rich and tender bits of sausage, and some veg for additional layers of flavour and contrast. Located just steps from Sully & Porter, 2 Crows + Yeah Yeahs has made this West End block both a boon to the neighbourhood and a destination unto itself, and I hope they keep slinging beers and pizza for years to come.

We also ordered 2 drinks and a baja burrito to-go. Complaints: - the pangoa was completely missing avocado - the lime wedge was the driest lime wedge I have ever encountered. I don't even know if I got a drop out of it - it felt like the woman who took our ordered was rushing us. We started off ordering a burrito, she asked us if we wanted anything else, and we said "um" and she said total and directed us to pull up. Her mistaking our order was finished a couple of times was very inconvenient. We were also not taking long to tell her the orders as well. We picked everything out before summoning her on the speaker. This was maybe an hour ago from this post. Tips: - the pangoa is very filling and there was a lot of rice. I would ask if they could do half rice and half salad next time
