Not these folks, I walk in say hi give them a big smile and I am lucky to get a nod in recognition. They add sales tax to all sales, no big deal, most estate sale companies include tax in the price. But these folks add a "5% buyers premium" to the total sale. Hey people that may work at an auction house but come on. You are getting a omission from the sale plus whatever else you charge the estate, do you really need to add 5%? I get not negotiating on the first day, most companies don't and shouldn't for their clients sake if they have priced the items correctly. But again on the last day of the sale 2 hours from closing the doors they stand firm 50% off. That's nice they do that but at this point they need to be moving the merchandise and clearing out the house. Did they ever hear of a "bag sale"? If the house needs to be empties and you need to get some dollars for the estate its a great way to do just that. Oh well it's their clients loss that chose to use a company that has turn off many regulars like myself. I have been going to estate sales for 30 years all across the country and these guys rank right up there with the ones to avoid.
