Also, brand new Tropitone is much more expensive! I emailed Peter Mazer with Outdoor Furniture Connection and he responded within 24 hours. His quote was reasonable and he said I could save $100 if I dropped it off in Palmetto. Peter and his team refurbished my older (45+ years) Tropitone furniture and it looks brand new! The old peeling paint was removed and new paint and straps replaced. I dropped off and picked up the two chairs and ottoman as I live fairly close to the company that does the work.(saved the delivery fee too) I had lived with this worn out furniture for quite some time, so the 11 weeks promise date was not an issue. I believe this is a husband and wife team. When I asked if they use chalk paint, she told me no, they make their own formula paint.
