The sound track to the, almost, 2 hour show was heavy on Dubstep and some of the artists represented are Bassnectar, Magnetic Man, Taio Cruz and Skrillex. Now for the not so positive... The AntiGravity Orlando is being housed in the old Movie Rider building off of 1-92. The facade of the building is dark and when we walked up, we weren't even sure they were actually open. There was no clear box office or person manning the booth and although we were welcomed by a gentleman, I wasn't sure if he were associated with the theatre or just an inebriated patron. There is a cash bar area over to the left of the theatre serving beer, wine and a few cocktails. Also available are 4 types of hot hors d'oeuvres for around the $4. mark each. I found out that the bar and food is catered by Houlihan's. The smell of the hors d'oeuvres was really cloying as the evening progressed and by mid show I was wishing for the smell to disappear. The show's acts of "anti-gravity" are woven together with a schmaltzy story and narrator. I do not blame the actor, but the script itself made the boyfriend and I roll our eyes and wish for the mic system to fail. It was a "clean" show, however several comments were made to audience members that were out of line. The theatre itself is too small to house the performers and to really see what they were doing I had to crane my neck. There is really no good seat in the house. The surroundings feel grimy, mirrors are cracked and low lighting just adds to the derelict feel. Although I can tell what the designer was aiming for, it just feels poorly executed. Full priced tickets are right at the $40 dollar mark for adults and $25 for children. Thankfully, we were invited to see the show free of charge, as to have been out of pocket for $80 bucks would have been upsetting. If you've never seen aerial acrobatics anywhere else, and you will never be able to see one of the other large and well known troupes, then by all means see this show. Just be prepared for a slightly grungier experience than you were expecting, and I wouldn't buy tickets for too far in the future.

My…read moreaunt traveled from Ohio and was especially excited because she had been to Al Capone's several times over the years and had wonderful memories of it. Unfortunately, what we experienced was nothing like what she remembered. Our reservation showed a 7:00 PM start, so we arrived at 6:30 as requested. From the beginning, everything was disorganized. We weren't told where the entrance was and ended up at the back of the line. Once inside, we waited in another line for drinks. Then there was no clear direction for seating. An employee eventually took our party of five to a four-top before another server said it wouldn't work and moved us. Once seated, someone asked what salad dressing we wanted even though we hadn't received menus. I finally had to ask, "Do we get menus?" The menu listed Italian wedding soup, which I ordered. I was told they might have run out after serving VIP guests, but then I was simply brought minestrone. When I questioned it, the server acted like I was mistaken and said the wedding soup must have been on their "winter menu." He picked up the menu to check and discovered it DID list Italian wedding soup. This was September 6 in Florida. If you're out of something, just tell the customer instead of making them feel like they read the menu incorrectly. The appetizer arrived quickly but was cold. Then came dinner. I cannot emphasize this enough: this was honestly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. That is the God's honest truth. I've had meals I didn't like, but I cannot remember ever having an entire meal this unpleasant. Nearly everything with sauce was overwhelmingly spicy. It wasn't one dish. The food as a whole was terrible. When you're paying for a "dinner show," DINNER is a major part of what you're paying for. By the time dinner arrived, our drinks were empty. No one offered refills. No water and no additional napkins. I eventually GOT UP MYSELF, asked for a pitcher of water, brought it back and refilled everyone's water. I also had to get our own napkins. This wasn't just our table. Tables throughout the room had stacks of dirty dishes while dessert was being served. Guests had empty drinks and dirty plates everywhere. It was chaotic. We were told they expected around 60 guests but received 129 reservations. I understand being short staffed, but if you cannot properly serve 129 people, don't accept 129 reservations. Cap the reservations. Being short staffed explains slower service. It doesn't excuse this level of disorganization. When the server told us we could move to the stadium seating for the show, I explained that I had to get our own water and napkins because nobody was taking care of us. He asked how everything else was. We told him honestly that it wasn't good and we wouldn't be back. After explaining the problems with the food and service, his response was: "If the food was so bad, then why are you taking it home?" Yes, we asked for to-go boxes because we had paid for the food. We ultimately threw it away. His response came across as rude and defensive. An offer to get a manager would have been much more appropriate. He encouraged us to stay because the show was better, but we were done. We purchased tickets for a DINNER SHOW. Instead, we endured a terrible dinner and terrible service and were then supposed to hope the show made up for it. We left approximately 1 1/2 hours early. This was supposed to be an engagement celebration. My aunt came from Ohio excited to share a place she had loved with us. Instead, all five of us left disappointed. Even the souvenir photo added to the frustration. We waited about 15 minutes to see it, and my eyes were closed. After everything else, I asked if they could at least give us the newspaper-style photo without the additional $20 charge. We had already spent approximately $149 and were leaving 1 1/2 hours early. I was simply told no. There wasn't even an offer to ask a manager. What bothered me almost as much as the food was the complete lack of concern or effort to make anything right. I understand staffing problems, bad nights and running out of menu items. Any ONE of these things could have been overlooked. But this wasn't one thing. The entire experience was disorganized from arrival to departure: confusing entrance and seating, no menus until we asked, cold appetizer, unavailable menu items, the worst food I have personally ever eaten, empty drinks, no refills, no napkins, getting our own water, dirty dishes everywhere, a defensive response when we complained, no manager and leaving 1 1/2 hours early. My aunt had wonderful memories of Al Capone's, which is why we chose it. Sadly, none of us have any desire to return. We expected a fun dinner show and memorable engagement celebration. It was definitely memorable, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.

I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

Michael and Shey were the hosts for the show and did an amazing job keeping the audience engaged. There was a lot of attention to birds, and they were flying around during the show. The audience got involved in the show, which made it engaging. And the seating was great, plus they had seating available for people with disabilities.

Our waitress was on point from the moment we sat down. Our glasses were never empty. She checked in often, smiled, and made the dinner feel warm and welcoming. We were lucky with our seating. When Beast came out for his performance, we were front and center which elevated the entire experience. I never did anything like this as a child, so experiencing it now as an adult with my boyfriend felt personal and special. It was money well spent to step into a childhood dream and enjoy it with someone I love. This is a fantastic experience that Disney offers to bring fantasy alive for children, and for adults who never had the chance to see it that way. I could not have been more pleased. Wellll they never answered waited 20mins on the phone never answered and I attempted to email them, never got a reply, The $165 tickets ended up selling so I missed that window. When I got to the park and spoke to an agent at the booth wasn't really helpful. She stated the tickets were now $175 each so technically I already got my discount because my tickets were cheaper... which really, no I didn't had someone answered the phone... anyways whatever the money was spent already. We head upstairs, I purchased a Mickey pretzel and a lemonade. It was decent. Once you get inside everyone is getting to their seat, there wasn't that many people on staff to help you to your seat so everyone is kind of running around like a chicken with no head. what I didn't like about this event is that even after the show started I'm talking 45-50 mins into the show people are still arriving trying to sit down.. it was distracting.. Don't be fooled by the seats btw and thinking sitting at the front is the best view, the auditorium is small enough that all the seats have a great view. So honestly whatever tickets you buy they are just as great as the front front seats. The show itself was great, lots of action and talented cast members, the story was also heartwarming and interesting. It did drag a little I will say. They showed a lot of Disney characters overall so nice to see old characters like Bambi . It also had some funny moments. The cast members can tell when people were falling asleep or losing interest lol I would say for a kid this could get boring... until the acts start doing flips and tricks again.. Oh yeah, the seats were low key HARD and uncomfortable lol! 90mins no intermission was a little rough. Overall cute and good for a date night or with the family in town. I wouldn't go again though.

It's located in the American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase. The open air theater combines shady landscaping with live entertainment, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy some music or a show (when the fickle Florida weather is cooperating, that is). I love seeing concerts here because you can't beat the price! The theater has plenty of communal bench seating that gives a great view from almost anywhere (watch out for those trees that block part of the stage). There's ADA seating in the back, although the views aren't as great back there. What really makes it shine is the variety and overall quality of the shows. During the EPCOT festivals, like the annual Flower & Garden, Festival of the Arts, or Food & Wine Festival, the theater hosts a lineup of great musical acts. I've seen so many bands and famous Broadway performers here over the years, from Hanson and Boyz II Men to the Pointer Sisters and New Found Glory. The sound quality is really good, the lighting is top notch, the performers are talented, and the shows are family-friendly while still appealing to adults. You can often find yourself dancing along or just chilling while soaking in the atmosphere. All music lovers will agree: you can't beat a free concert! Because it's outdoors it can get a little hot in the summer, and seating is first-come, first-served so arriving early is a good idea if you want a front row spot for the more popular acts. The venue is not covered so you will get wet in the rain and may burn in the midday sun, and watch out for birds that rest in the trees above or you may get pooped on (this has happened to me more than once). All in all, this is a pretty cool live music venue in a theme park!

There are normally two entrances that are used. First is the one near the Japan pavillion. This is usually for people who had a dining reservation in order to secure seating. The other is near the Italy pavillion which is for the general public. It is primarily bench seating. The base of the theater is level and then raises up for better viewing. Acoustics are great. The venue is used each year for festival celebrity concerts and during the Christmas season-the candlelight processional. Since the theater is small there is standing room only outside the venue. I'm not sure if they permit this during the Candlelight processional since lines tend to build up fairly early for each of their 3 scheduled daily shows. Even if a show is not performing here it is still worth a look at this beautiful concert hall. Adding the cool breeze off the lagoon also helps keep you comfortable on a hot day.

The artist is dope and deserves 100/10 but this is the last time I will ever attend a concert here. It's too small for the amount of tickets sold and standing room only unless you are upstairs and the view from up top is ehhh.
