Feathered Friends is a show located inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, Asia area, next to Yak and Yeti. This is a show inside the park, so a ticket is required to get into Animal Kingdom. This is also a sitting show in an open theatre which will be surrounded by birds, some of which fly over your head. If you are afraid, not for you! There are about 5-7 showtimes throughout the day and the show usually does not fill up, but they will close it off at the start. Since there are birds that are flying, they cannot have people walking around after it has started. The overall show is about 20 minutes. This show is fine, but not my favorite. It literally always has issues. It does contain real animals and since they will do whatever they want even though they are trained, it can arise and usually does. I don't think we have actually seen the whole show with no issues. A bird not cooperating and flying where it should or refusing to go back inside, something is always happening. There have been times when they had to end the show halfway through due to the birds. It does make the show somewhat humorous but after 4/5 minutes of them trying and everyone laughing its just old and not funny anymore. It makes it awkward for the actors/trainers on stage. I do think it is a cute show, you will see unique birds you might not have seen before. There is also audience participation, and it is usually nice and cool inside. I would recommend coming to the show and just hope that everything goes well. I think this is perfect for those hot summer days when you need to get out of the heat and the sun. I would say check it out for sure, it's just not a show I look forward to each time we visit or even go each time we are there.

Feathered Friends is a show located inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, it is over in the Asia area, right next to Yak and Yeti. You will need a park ticket to see this show. This show is all about birds! If you are afraid of birds, this is not the show for you. They do have a few showtimes a day and the overall show is about 20 minutes. There is bench style seating as well as bleacher style seating in the back. The benches are all the same height which could cause viewing issues for kids. You are not allowed to stand on the bench seats since Birds are flying over your head. This is a cute show, but it always has issues. This show does contain real animals and of course animals do whatever they want even though they are trained. But we have tried to watch this quite a few times and it usually goes off script. They have actually had to end the show halfway through quite a few times, since one of their birds did not want to participate. There have been other occasions where a certain "task" they want the bird to do, just doesn't come to the front. Again, animals will do what they want which is totally understandable. I do think it is a cute show, you get to see unique birds you might not have seen before. They ask for audience members to participate and it is usually nice and cool inside. I would recommend coming to the show and just hope that everything goes well. I think this is perfect for those hot summer days when you need to get out of the heat and the sun. I would say check it out for sure, it's just not a show I look forward to each time we visit.

If you're interested in birds this is definitely for you. If you have a fear of birds you're probably not at Disney. This is actually a fun and exciting show. I didn't quite realize how close the birds get to you when you're in the front rows and they are flying overhead. Everybody kept flinching. It was a lot of fun and it was entertaining and it was also educational. There are a lot of interesting birds along with a few fairly common ones. Disney has done a really good job setting this one up and they have some really excellent people running the show.

So odd that I haven't reviewed this before as I have seen it dozens of times and enjoyed it every time. The birds are well trained and their interaction with their trainers is great. Sometimes the birds act up, which only adds to the fun of the show. I wish all the seats weren't the same height as I often can't see the show if someone tall is in front of me. I am better off in the back in the bleacher seats. This past visit, they were letting guests wander in during the show which was distracting.

The beginning is very tourist-trappy, loads of merch and upsell opportunities. Be careful when you order a drink, each cup is a different price and it's very easy to get sold on the fun little souvenir cups. I did get a $12 9oz pour of pinot grigio though! We had front row seating, so view of the show itself was great. The food was fine, but that's to be expected. I found the tomato bisque and garlic bread to be pretty mediocre but I liked the chicken and it was fun to have to eat with my hands! The wet nap provided was useful. I skipped the corn and had a potato wedge, which was also fine. The dessert was pretty dry. The show itself was fun to watch, but I found it difficult to hear what the king and queen were saying so I'm unsure of the storytelling itself. The choreography for the jousting was great and the knights did an awesome job engaging with the crowd too!

The show is inspired by a Chicago gang theme at Capone's Dinner & Show, and it's super entertaining from start to finish. I tried the chicken with pasta and it was honestly delicious, good portion and full of flavor. They also have a full bar, which makes it even better because you can sip your drink while enjoying the show. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for all ages, so you can bring the whole family and still have a great time. Prices are reasonable for what you get, especially with both food and entertainment included. Plus, it's conveniently located near ICON Park on International Drive. That's the only perk that was taken advantage. We saw no difference in timing on seating when it came to a non packed show (the show starts exactly the same time for everyone) and we saw no difference in better drinks. We arrived as a party of 2 and they had our ticket ready at the front with the name it was booked under. We went through a cute speakeasy that takes place in Chicago. Walked to the bar to get a drink. This part was a long wait. The line was long. Someone ended up coming over and asking us what we wanted and grabbed it for us so we can sit down. We thought we were eating dinner during the show. Nope. Two separate areas. This is why when purchasing it tells you it's 6:30-10:00pm. The starters came out and they were good. Bread. Mozzarella sticks. Salads. Then the entrees came out and that was terrible. The chicken parm must have not been fresh. Frozen? The lasagna was okay. The pasta was less than ok. Everything had the same sauce actually. The food really was not good. And our bodies surely did react to eating this food. The dessert? Pass. The show was not necessarily what we thought. Think less gangster. Think more cheesy. We were engaged though and shared some laughs. Overall it was a relaxing night but it would only get a 3 - 3.5 star for the overall experience. Also if you're booking online, they don't tell you but you should bring cash to tip.

Danielle opens the show as she is the host and she is just amazing. Her energy and personality make you smile. As she walks around she picks on a few people, lovingly of course, and it's so entertaining. There are 3 lovely ladies that join her in her show and all do a song and last night she had another MC, both of them were great! It's been at Disney for 52 years and is one of the country's longest running dinner shows with over 37,000 performances so far! My husband and I had such a great time, I only wish it hadn't taken me so long to see it but I will definitely go back again! The food was delicious and it's all you can eat and also includes all the beer, wine and sangria (21+) or soft drinks and iced tea that you can drink. Food includes fried chicken, pork ribs, cornbread, coleslaw, salad, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and baked beans. For dessert you get a delicious strawberry shortcake. When you make reservations and also when you check in, you are asked if you have any dietary restrictions or prefer a plant based meal. The food is served family style, which I always love because it's a fun way to eat. Everything about this meal was delicious so it's hard for me to pick a favorite. Our server, Chrissy was just amazing. There was never a glass left unfilled and our plates were never empty. The show was so much fun and included audience participation and in true Disney fashion, the performers were highly talented and highly entertaining. The price was excellent at only $70 per ticket. We had seating in the balcony which I was worried about at first, but once we got in there, and I was able to look around I saw that the balcony was actually the better place to be seated and I definitely would get seating in the balcony again. Getting there was half the fun, you take a bus to Pioneer Hall where the store is held, from The Outpost located within Fort Wilderness. It's great because there's some horses and a couple of stables you can look at as well as a general store and a tavern. I highly recommend doing this at least once. The fried chicken was the seasoned good crispy and juicy, beans were my 2nd favorite, ribs were not my favorite different flavor going on, cornbread was average, Mac and cheese was average, and strawberry shortcake was average I think they should change that to a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. I got the blackened salmon which came with green beans and roasted tomatoes. The salmon itself was nice, the blackened seasoning was good, had a good kick to it as well. The salmon itself was a little overcooked for my taste but it was a nice piece of fish overall. The green beans on the other hand were both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Some of the beans were a pale olive and were super over done, some were bright green and basically raw. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but this was definitely not a job well done. Also they gave me like three cherry tomatoes they probably could have done a little bit better with the quantity in that department. For the price they're charging the food should be a lot more consistent. I give it two and a half stars rounded up to three because I did like the guy that was playing the guitar and singing and the atmosphere was fairly decent. As far as food goes, big overpriced dud, steer clear.
