I'm not a fan of the sports guy who has to flash a hand signal at the end of his broadcasts to bring attention to himself... maybe work on your on screen ability a bit more before flashing a hand signal like your someone! Let's be honest, Lexington, KY isn't going to have top notch news casts. With that said, I find LEX18 news especially irritating. Just about every news cast has technical glitches, simple misspellings and stories that just seem at least partially fabricated to stir up faux controversy or to please their political overlords. Their website looks like it was created circa 2001. I remember the accident at Bluegrass airport years ago. It was a tragic accident and it just felt like LEX18 saw this as 'their time to shine'. I have little respect for the ultra-corrupt media in general these days, but LEX18 was shameless in using this tragedy for ratings...it was obvious. Like I mentioned, local news here in Lexington sucks. Excessively folksy WKYT news is no better. read more

So it looks like to me. Whoever does your all's broadcasting when a story comes up. They are constantly screwing up. You go from one topic. Two pictures of a total different thing Why is that? It's not a thing that just happens now and then it happens all the time. Very disappointed in this I've been watching this news channel for many years. And I've been totally dedicated and loyal to watching it. But I'm about to change my mind. read more

Time to stop watching channel 18 for news and time to stop using their website for news updates. They allow filth to be written on their website comment sections and won't remove it once they are notified. I notified them twice about it and was promised it would be removed and 4 days later the filth remains. They say they have filters to keep offensive words off their websites but the "f" word is not filtered apparently. I don't understand them not being more responsible to our community. What's next from channel 18? I guess their website advertisers feel the same as Lex 18 so I won't support any of them either. read more
