I was running across the street despite being on a painted pedestrian walk and having the right of…read moreway. Really because I was headed to barbecue and also because Memphis drivers are scary. My shorts, too large for my apparently shrunken hips (must be the active lifestyle, hey now!), requires my hands to hold them up if I run for more than a few seconds. Of course I failed to do that on the fateful day of hopping across the street and my cell phone flops out and lands with a dreadful crack on the hard pavement. After retrieving it, the lcd screen is shot and weird multi-colored lines appear on the screen. I desperately tried to swipe and type this way and that, all to no avail. My life as I knew it ended right then and there. The phone goes from barely functional to completely bonkers in alternating phases. I had no idea how much I depended on the damn thing. It was like losing my superpower (sad that my superpower is an old iPhone ain't it? Makes me question my purpose in life) but I was completely helpless. I couldn't drive (no GPS), I couldn't find restaurants, I couldn't call or send texts, I couldn't listen to music. I was so sad! :( Until John appeared in my life. Armed with tiny screwdrivers out of a magical blue box, he had my phone up and running in less than 10 minutes. Not all heroes wear capes.

I had been here before, an older lady who I had the impression was manager who did a nice job on…read morelegal documents, so I had the impression this was a good copy shop to do business with, today around 4:30 pm I went in for 3 copies of one document, on a flash drive, I informed her that there are 3 text files, but if for some reason she can't get them to fit on a page, I also had an image file, jpg that I wanted to be used instead. The lady came back with the font size blown up, to make a one page document into a page and a half, the font size I have on the text files is 12, standard size for legal work. She is changing the font sizes to make more pages. She tried to force me to pay for 6 pages that were unusable, before she would print it correctly and then charge me a 3rd time, I said "no", she immediately slammed my usb down on the desk and ordered me to get out. She claims I didn't tell her I wanted the one page document, all on the same page, which is a lie, I told her as she was taking it to the back, to print it, that was the purpose for the image file, if she couldn't do it correctly from the text files. I asked for her name and who the manager is, she claimed that she is the manager. So now I have to find out who she is and who is above her, to file a complaint, because if she is a manager, she certainly shouldn't be.

My mothers crystal-ruined. They need to analyze their chain of custody and figure out where the breakage is occurring. It seems like the box was purposely dropped.
