Most negligent dangerous care we've ever seen, STAY AWAY. I have received hormone replacement therapy from this clinic for almost three years. Around the beginning of the year they switched my pcp to somebody who did not even understand the english I was saying, he wrote a dangerous reckless unintelligible prescription, any doctor would know that writing "put three estradiol patches on every single day" is ludicrous. IT DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE LOGICALLY. This guy seriously wrote that and saw nothing wrong with it. Absolutely DANGEROUS MALPRACTICE, thats not even the worst part. This issue has been brought up to them several times now, they tested my estradiol levels and they were almost 900, the doctors then look at me and say "well its not dangerous because its not over 1,000, because thatd hurt your liver" ARE YOU KIDDING ME. My body has been destroyed and my life bas been taken from me by this disgusting reckless clinic. THEY LITERALLY ASKED ME IF THATS A COMFORTABLE LEVEL, LIKE IM THE FUCKING DOCTOR, they have destroyed my entire endocrine system. read more

I asked to have my daughter checked for type 1 diabetes because of symptoms we, her family, have experienced with her lately. Instead of doing what I asked, they tested her cholesterol! A 12-year-old child who is not overweight! The lack of attention to symptoms and what the visit is actually for is mind-boggling. I under that these people are students, but performing the wrong test is inexcusable. And the condescending tone the staff took to tell me her "bad" cholesterol is a little bit above normal wasn't appropriate or appreciated either. read more

When the resident assigned to you pulls out his cell phone to "research" what might be causing recurring (and painful) boils, you may be in the wrong place. You are definitely in the wrong place when he subsequently tells you the recurring boils are a result of poor hygiene (not the case, and obviously not) and discourages you from asking for a dermatological referral, saying "they are going to tell you the same thing and get upset with us when we can handle it ourselves." He also refused me a staph test and was hesitant to actually provide treatment or pain relief. While at WMed, I had to advocate for myself more than I've ever had to. Had I not, I wouldn't have found out that my condition has a name. It has a treatment. I'll be receiving that treatment from a provider who actually listens, cares, and most importantly has knowledge grounded in science & experience versus powered by Google search. I do not recommend. There is better care to be had and people are NOT guinea pigs. read more

Do NOT go here! Today I took my daughter to her routine type one diabetic appointment. I have multiple disabilities (epilepsy and type two diabetes) and wearing the surgical masks reduces oxygen making me more susceptible to seizures. To comply I wore a belly dancer mask but I was still told I had to wear a surgical mask even when I explained I had disabilities. My daughter's doctor Patty is amazing. I really respect her and she treats me like a person. While we were sitting in the room, I had to get ahold of the pharmacist at our pharmacy to clarify the items that needed prior authorizations. The nutritionist came into the room, saw me, I motioned to her to come inside, and she shut the door. I thought it was because I was on the phone. Then she came inside and asked me to put on the surgical mask because she had a relative at home that was immuno-compromised. So I lifted t he mask up to cover my mouth and I asked if that was better. (I pointed out I wasn't even close to her. We were more than six feet apart). Apparently she wanted me to put the mask on all the way. I explained I had multiple disabilities. She turned around and left and shut the door behind her. My daughter was sitting beside me in the corner of the room. Her doctor was diagonal from me. As the pharmacist came on the phone, a woman came into the room and demanded I put on a surgical mask. I told her I had multiple disabilities and could not wear one. It was bad for me. I told her I was on the phone with the pharmacist trying to iron out my daughter's medications and she was interrupting my call and wasting his time and the doctor's. This woman (wearing a mask) comes right up to me, fuming, and tells me I have to wear the mask. She's standing right up to my toes literally touching them and when I told her I couldn't I have multiple disabilities and she was under 6 feet away from me and she goes, "Ohhhh!" Dragging it out rudely and dramatically like I'm just being rebellious and I wasn't. I demanded to know loudly why she was treating me like this and she rudely tossed me a surgical mask on my lap and tells me loudly to wear it and as she stormed out she and nearly shouts, "Wear the mask or no visit next time!" I looked at my daughter's doctor horrified. She appeared shocked as well, but I could see she was trying to mask it. She tried to reassure me in my shaken state that it was just us and she was my daughter's doctor not the woman that walked in (she identified her as Dr. Longmire). She said she would handle it. Um, How do you handle assault and battery? Because that actually qualifies. I asked for the rude doctor's boss's contact information because I wanted to speak to him or her about the concerns I had about the mistreatment I experienced. The nurse assistant said she would get it and instead brought in a "customer service advocate managerial type person" who sat down to hear my concerns. As I explained to her I'm not trying to be argumentative. I have legit disabilities. I felt I was being judged so I recorded the conversation on my phone. It was almost five minutes long but then she told me I had to delete before I left the room because I didn't have her permission to take a recording. During this review, I was told that the masks DO allow oxygen (I argued they reduce it by 20%) and she said she was concerned about the education I was giving my daughter about the mask misinformation. I was horrified! She kept writing notes down I wasn't allowed to read but she did not allow me to give permission to take notes about what I was saying. When I argued that this was about the mistreatment of me (not about me educating my daughter incorrectly) she rudely raised her voice and said crossly, "This isn't about you! It's about (my daughter)!" I was like, but if the oxygen is reduced and I have a grand mal seizure I can't drive us home so it is very much about me. I'm trying to protect my health so I can be a good caregiver to my daughter. This whole thing is an outrage and I never should have experienced this situation in a professional setting like this. It embarrassed me in front of my daughter, my pharmacist and my daughter's doctor. There is no justice for the disabled. I was simply told that if I did not wear the mask I was not being compliant and could go elsewhere. I was offered an isolated room option and then the same lady then changed her mind and said she questioned the effectiveness of my daughter's treatment if we chose that option. So I retorted, "Is it an isolation closet?" She said no and said it was a normal-sized room. So I question why suddenly it was no longer an option to use if mask wearing is an issue. If I used the isolated room option I was told I wouldn't have to wear a mask but then they challenged me. I was not aware anyone should be treated like this and it's unjust. If you can go somewhere else, do it. There are some doctors here that are good and do care, but it's not worth the mistreatment. read more
