Unfortunately, the experience went downhill the moment I walked in. One employee immediately gave me a harsh look and stared at me from across the room. I didn't even realize he worked there at first, so I tried to move out of his line of sight. Another employee eventually approached me, and I explained that it was my first visit and I wanted to look around before asking questions. He was friendly and helpful -- I honestly wish he had been the one assisting me the whole time. Instead, the first employee eventually came over and asked if I needed anything, but his tone and body language made me feel unwelcome, as if he wanted me to leave rather than browse. It took the excitement out of what should have been a fun first visit. Bottom line: the store itself was great, but the attitude from that particular employee made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.

Brought my kids here for a birthday party and had a great experience. I loved the setup of the…read moreparty room--plenty of seating and a ramp where kids could race their self-built LEGO cars. Each kid also got to choose a Minifig to bring home as their party favor. I was especially impressed with the cleanliness. The staff sprayed down the brick bins the kids played with, had hand sanitizer available throughout the store, and the bathroom was pristine. It even had a low sink and paper towels, making it easy for kids to use independently. The family brought in food from Domino's next door, which was super convenient and a hit with both kids and adults. I also love the idea of the LEGO trading program. My kids have plenty of sets at home, and I'm eagerly looking forward to clearing some out to make more space in their rooms!

I also looked at what the potential cost of parts and how long it would take to get them. I did a google search in the Hamilton area and found Ed's Appliances and Parts. I went in and met Nick the owner. What a wonderful, friendly man who was also very helpful. He was able to confirm what I thought was the issues and I ordered a new heating element and check valve. These were ordered on Apr 16 and was informed I should have them by the 19th. I received a call that they were in on the 18th! Everywhere else showed it would take approx two weeks to get the parts and I would have to pay shipping on top of their more expensive pricing. Unfortunately while reinstalling the dishwasher I broke the hose assembly. I think I had someone looking out for me because it really should not have broken that easily. I called Nick, my new best friend, who said he could have it by the next day. I highly recommend Ed's Appliances and Parts, Nick is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was in Olean for work and decided to check to see if there was any cool game stores nearby. Going in it's unassuming and would likely be cramped if there was more than just me perusing. However they have mini packs that I had never seen before of Magic the gathering, considering I just got into the hobby these were long before my time.. but that's what I was looking for! I'm trying to create a draft night for my friends with different packs of all kinds. Now I can do just that! They had a nice selection of card sleeves and some deck boxes. They had a selection of board games, with some really nice staples such as Everdell, Betrayal, and more. They seem to have an upstairs where they can have game nights as well which is awesome. I would highly recommend, the person behind the desk was very polite and helpful.

Puzzles and board games of all kinds. A very knowledgeable and friendly clerk helped me find everything I was looking for.
