I can almost always get a same-day appointment if my daughter isn't feeling well. They have a nurse line, and they are very felpful. Sometimes, I don't even have to bring daughter in to be seen - although they almost always recommend it. They have a patient portal, which I love because I can use it for appointments, questions, records, reminders, etc. My daughter's pediatrician is Dr Epstein; Nancy PNP is phenomenal; we love her! Overall, everyone has been exceptional. Except for their lactation consultant, she was rude, dismissive, and too rough on my newborn. She's the reason for 4 stars and not 5. read more

Always there to help when son is sick. Started with Dowd in Reading Dr Curdo....Definitely wasn't a right fit. Woburn Pedi was amazing at answering questions and making my son feel at home with his special needs. Wish I could have said that at Dowd. read more

Dr Connelly was great but since she retired about 3 years ago we haven't seen the same person twice. Personalized medicine? Nope. My youngest has asthma and really struggled with masks. When we asked about the criteria for a medical exemption for last school year the rookie nurse said "oh there are no exemptions". When I asked what the criteria was she couldn't answer the question and ran from the room for 20 minutes to get the attending who was "too busy". No criteria. No handout or information. No thinking. No "what's in the best interest of this child". I can't wait to find another practice and took my kids to a CVS minute clinic to get school physical's because the care is so bad and impersonal here. read more

BEWARE, I am a seasoned mom of 6, moved to the Woburn Area from North Andover area and YIKES, this practice only cares about money, they do not answer sick calls, sick after hour calls are either NEVER returned or returned in 2 hours. One of my children has some minor medical issues (like asthma) and I cannot imagine a parent trying to deal with this place (Woburn and North Andover) with anything besides getting a physical form for school. Please BEWARE and do NOT waste your time. If you are looking for a pediatrican call them and ask them how many patients they have currently on the roaster, that number alone will make you hang up and run. IT IS AN AWFUL PLACE! I am trying to get out of there and find another pediatrician. read more

Woburn Pediatrics was founded in 1967 by Dr. Joseph B. Leader who is still dedicated to the practice today. It started as the first pediatricians office in the town and in my opinion remains the best! They have since branched off into a second location which conveniently opened in North Andover where I attended high school. I was a patient here from birth until 2005 when they insisted that I needed to get an "adult" doctor in. So I went to my pediatrician until I was 21... shut it! Although Dr. Patricia A. Connolly was my main doc she seemed to be a favorite of many and I oftentimes had to take visits with other dr's/nurses. But I have never met one that I didn't like and I was a sickly child so I was here a lot! I know from working at a daycare that it takes a lot of patience to work with small children and I can't even imagine what it's like to work with SICK small children so I have nothing but respect. If you are a parent and are looking for a doctor this is the place to go! I guarantee you won't be disappointed and you'll leave knowing that your child has received amazing care. When/if I ever have my own I'll definitely be bringing them here. read more

I feel bad for giving 2 stars because the doctors are really nice and there's only positives. However, I had my son going there for 3 yrs and I often had unpleasant experiences with several stuff there. Not everyone is bad, but quite few of them are not polite. I also prefer small family oriented clinics which often care more for individuals. The biggest reason I changed the clinic is that when my daughter was born I really didn't want Hep B vaccination on her, and they said they absolutely have to give her the vaccine like any other kids since it is a large practice and there's no exception. So, basically they kicked us out! Anyway, so glad to leave and found an alternative clinic. read more

Review for Joseph Leader Went to him for my son who was having trouble breathing, rapid respiration, wheezing, coughing, fever of 101...sent him home with cold and asthma diagnosis. Told us he could even go to school. 2 days later brought him to ER where they measured his Oxygen saturation...was in low 90s! Admitted to hospital and eventually to Childrens Hospital. Either pneumonia or enterovirus...not conclusive. Went on 2 antibiotics, oxygen and steroids. Spent 5 days in hospital and is still recovering! You bring a child in with trouble breathing and he doesnt even test his oxygen sat? no chest xray? just send him home and tell him to go to school! Its 2014 and you need to retire. STAY AWAY! read more

The doctors don't care and they don't try to help figure out problems. Misdiagnosis often occurs. What really disappointed me was that they didn't diagnose my baby's reflux even though I kept telling them about symptoms for months. They just kept saying he was a needy baby. Babies don't just cry all the time for no reason. Especially 6 month olds and they don't spit up all the time. I had to initiate a visit to the GI and initiate EVERYTHING! Once he was on reflux meds, he was very different. I don't understand why pediatricians can't figure it out! read more

I'm so disappointed with the staff at Woburn Pediatrics. The nurses are so rude to my children and me. The people behind the front desk and those that answer the phone are not friendly or helpful. I understand they are busy but there are other pediatrician's offices that are also busy that have kind nurses and receptionists. I don't know why a nurse would work at a pediatrician's office if they don't like children. Its a big practice so you do see a lot of doctors which I am fine with. The doctors are actually quite nice but they just are so rushed to get you out the door! I don't think its the doctor's fault since its just the way the practice operates. I'm sure it was a lovely place years ago when it was smaller and there were less patients and doctors. We are changing practices because my children deserve more than this place. read more

My son has been going to Woburn Pediatric Associates since May 2011 when he was born. We have been more than satisfied with their services. Like many children, he go sick a lot when he started daycare. I love that I can call at any time day or night and I get an answer to my questions about my sons health. His primary is Dr. Josh Leader. He is excellent! He is great with my son. He give him shots and my son doesn't even flinch. Highly Recommend WPA, the doctors and nurses! read more

Staff is good, building and furniture is old but who cares. They get you in and out as not to waste your time waiting. They are also flexible and kind when I pushed for testing with my son they let me have it no issue. They also have a great app which lets you track everything. read more

I love this pediatric office! My insurance changed a few years ago, and I had to move my kids to a new doctor, which worried me. But once I met the doctors and the front desk girls, I realized how much better the office was compared to my old one! When I call to get an appointment, someone answers the phone! At my old office, I was immediately put on hold, only to wait for what seemed like a long time, especially when you have a sick baby. Great office, both locations! read more

Feel bad others have had bad experiences here, I feel there are some really good Drs here but there are a few I prefer my child not see. Same with the nurse practitioners, some good some bad. It is a very well run office and the communication is great. They have a nurses line for questions & lab in office. X-rays are also in the same building. No issues getting referrals or medication refill. They have many Drs to choose from here, if you are unhappy you can always switch. Also, if you a parent that chooses not to vaccinate this is not the practice for you. Overall - great experience here & would recommend. read more

This office is horrible. It is very easy to get an appointment here because they herd patients in and out like cattle. I brought my three children to this office when their old pediatrician retired. The closets (oh I me exam rooms) are ridiculously cramped, sterile looking, not what would come to mind with the term childrens doctors office. Not one of the doctors remembered anything about any one of my children. They sat there during visits typing info in the computers and never looking up at us. Yeah if I wanna guess what is wrong with my child I can look at WedMd also. Mindless drones for doctors, really. Not to mention what they bill the insurance company, somewhere around $200 for about 15 minutes of uselessness. In case you don't know this is not normal or maybe it is the new normal. There is so much better out there. Our current pediatricians know my childrens names. There are only two doctors in the office. It is warm and friendly. They know my oldest has asthma without my having to remind them or look at the chart. We are at appointments for a good amount of time. The children are thorougholy examined and the diagnoses is discussed with me. I leave the new pediatrician feeling like my children are well cared for. read more

I have been very pleased with Woburn Pediatrics. I found the staff to be very thoroughwhen my daughter had a skin infection and in fact referred her out when necessay. I like that they have after hour appointments. I also like that the nurses are always available to answer questions. read more

I've been going here since I was a child and I've always thought these offices were cold, dingy and dirty. I had recently started to bring my children here because honestly, i knew it and wasn't sure where else to go and my daughter was a few words short of being where she needed to be vocally. These people threatened me with child services to join a supposedly voluntary program for speech therapy. When I told them I had previously encountered the program they gave me unrealistic alternatives, such as far away speech therapists that I would have to pay out of pocket for. Thanks for your 'recommendation' as if, they practically blackmailed me. I told them their services were no longer required and I received a call from Child services 4 hours later. Don't go here, they won't give you any viable options if they want to stick you up against a rock and call child services. read more

It's a large practice, so you get the positives and negatives that go with that. The biggest positive -- and to me one that outweighs, by far, the negatives -- is that you can always get an appointment if you need to have your child seen. They even have some availability on weekends -- if you've ever spent a good part of your day in the emergency room on a Saturday or Sunday, you know how huge this is. The one negative is that sometimes you don't see your child's regular provider -- but your child gets seen. All of the doctors and nurses are nice, friendly, and caring. I switched to them when my insurance changed 15 years ago, and now we take my granddaughter there too. I highly recommend them. read more

This place is great! It is HUGE and that may put some people off (lots of practitioners, NP's) but for my family, we have found a great pediatrician there and her nurse practitioner is also fabulous. Some of my kids have a complicated medical history and they are extremely attentive to their issues. GREAT diagnostic care. I have found the medical technicians to be friendly enough...they just weigh the kids, take temp and bring you to the room. The front desk just takes your copay and checks you in - that is satisfactory. The care we receive from our pediatrician and the np has been excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice. Bonus, they have recently renovated the whole office and it looks great, the rooms are much more spacious. read more

I have been taking my daughter to Woburn Pediatrics for 15 years. Even after I moved to Lexington-- where there are plenty of good pediatricians-- I stayed with this practice and have never regretted it. It is, as others have pointed out, a very large practice so if you are looking to see your child's own doc every time he/she is sick, this is not the practice for you. However, it is very efficiently run. The doctors/nurse practitioners are organized in "teams" and you can almost always see a NP in your doc's team (and the NPs are all outstanding). Over the years we have seen many docs and NPs as my daughter has a tendency to be sick often. Recently she and I were reflecting on how we have never, in all these years, had a visit with which we were unsatisfied. The professional staff are top-notch, very kind and child-centered (and I consider myself rather fussy in that regard). I have always felt that staff have spent an appropriate amount of time with my daughter. Our doc is Patricia Connolly and despite the size of the practice I feel she really knows my child and has connected well with her from toddlerhood right through adolescence. We do not look forward to the day she turns 21 and has to move on! I highly recommend this practice. read more

My daughter has been a patient at Woburn Peds since 2008. Initially I was satisfied with the service, not happy, but satisfied. Until our most recent visit. At her 3 year old well visit, like any mother, I asked lots of questions about my daughters development and advice, in particular about constipation and her feet. The nurse gave me some helpful advice, which I expected at a well visit. A month later I received a bill from the office. I called my insurance company and asked why the entire well visit was not covered. I was told that the nurse billed a separate visit on the same date and coded it as a medical visit because I discussed my daughter's constipation. I then called the office to discuss this and was told that the nurse had every right to charge for a separate medical visit because I asked some questions. I asked if I was supposed to keep my mouth shut and not ask any questions during the visit and was told that if I do ask questions, the doctor or nurse has every right to bill for a separate visit, but she also agreed that I have the right to ask general questions about my daughters health and development. I explained to the billing office that this is a fraudulent charge. She said that there is nothing I can do about this and again, they have every right to charge for any question asked during a well visit. I have always raved about Woburn Peds, but will be finding another pediatrician and will never recommend them again. In addition, my daughter did not even see her doctors, she was seen by a nurse. read more

Year after year, he kept writing of off as "terrible 2s", or "terrible 3s", or "I heard 4 years old is pretty bad!". DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. I am now 32 years old. Dealing with server life anxiety and learning to work through it myself. When my brother started to see him, 8 years later, he had started showing signs of server eating disorder behaviors. Dr. Michael Alan Vogler called my mother a "crazy Italian mother", and never showed a sign of concern for her children. This man should be locked up, investigated, and disbarred for his repetitive, unprofessional behavior, and I look forward to the day this man gets his karma. Main take away: beware MOTHERS. Do NOT take your children to see Dr. Michael Alan Vogler. Karma is real. Get a second option.

I got to the appointment and they didn't have the information even though I spent 20 minutes on the phone days before giving them the information. They told me they didn't have any record of my phone call with the office and I felt very gaslighted. They proceeded to make phone calls or look on different date bases to see if they could find the insurance information while I called the insurance to get the new number. I over heard a front desk person ask another front desk person to look under mass health. I then said I knew it wasn't mass health because it was insurance through my place of work. They looked at each other and disregarded what I had said and one of the women said "look under mass health anyways". I am a Latina woman so you can understand how that made me feel disrespected. Not only because I wasn't heard but also because I was stereotyped and even if I was on mass health the interaction would have been enough to make me feel bad about that which is never ok. I have not had an appointment on the time of the appointment for at least 2 years now. They are unorganized and have no understanding or flexibility even though this is a pediatric practice. I am now having to allot 2 hours for appointments to account for the wait time but they will make you pay a $50 fee and won't see your child if you are more than 9 minutes late. Even though I have sat in my car for 25 minutes waiting for them to call me to let me into the building for an appointment. Unrealistic and unprofessional. I will be changing our pediatrician, not because of the doctors or nurses because they have been wonderful but the front desk service is terrible and disrespectful.

I'll never forget the time she hugged me and promised me something good would come out of it. She was also provided excellent care to my daughter. I will never forget our crazy first meeting and her kindness. She listened and provided me care when my own OB/GYN's office failed to do so. It is absolutely ludicrous the postpartum care we receive. This fourth trimester care model should be mandatory everywhere.

Anyway, at the hospital, Dr. Jeffrey Feldman was recommended to us together with another doctor from Everett MGH because they are both relatively very close to where we live. We thought that the pediatrician from Everett MGH was great but the wait time is unbelievably ridiculous. When I went back to work, it's just something that we couldn't easily add to our family with a new baby schedule. We switched to Dr. Feldman and it has been an excellent experience so far. He offers a free first visit, see if he's a good fit for your child. He keeps his appointment times on point which means no dilly dallying but also means he keeps all appointments on time! We appreciate the brevity in going over any health concerns for our baby. He gets to them on point and we leave the clinic satisfied with the service. There is also free parking provided which is always an awesome bonus.

Their hours are good & are even available on weekends! This is my own personal, unexaggerated, and truthful review of Dr. Robertson that I was examined by at Woburn Pediatrics. At age 11, while going through puberty my mom had brought me in for a physical. I was very shy, completely uncomfortable, and have no idea why a developing girl who was going through so many changes was brought to this man. He ran through the exam (I was offered no gown), lifted my bra without asking, and out of nowhere said "down with the panties" grabbing my underwear and ripping them off me with no warning, no explanation, and never asking for my consent. I felt attacked and assaulted, I kicked him away and pulled them back up. I was yelled at to remove them and finish the vaginal exam. I laid on the table and stared at the ceiling. I was told to bring my knees up, he grabbed my kneecaps and pulled them apart to open my legs. I did my best to fight back the tears and was still in shock. I was offered no apology, never asked if I would be more comfortable having a female finish the exam, I was made fun of and even bad mouthed to my mom.
