Man this place reminds me of my high school days, I would always come here and they would remember me & my order. They always give you big portions and they offer a menu with most of the dishes you'll find at any Chinese place. I ordered the House Lo Mein with comes with triple meat(chicken,shrimp,beef) and assorted veggies tossed with noodles. Every meal is accompanied by two HUGE scoops of rice. I was a little disappointed when i opened my box to find that they had definitely skimped on the meat and veggies. Def not like the high school days but i guess the economy is affecting everyone. The taste was alright, the shrimp didn't look very fresh and the veggies looked like they were from frozen packages. I tried the broccoli chicken and egg drop soup after reading reviews online. I was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the stark diner decor. This is a classic hole in the wall restaurant with friendly folks and really good food. None of your "hunan fusion" cuisine, but just good stir fried American Chinese food. The egg drop soup was mild, but it is not supposed to be a highly salted or spicy dish. The broccoli, carrots and onions in the chicken entre were still a little crunchy, and the chicken was so tender I could cut it with my fork. The brown sauce was a nice blend of garlic and soy sauce. All served so hot I had to be careful not to burn my mouth. Worth the drive from the interstate. BTW, they also take phone orders for take out. read more

I too have fond memories from high school and wok d-lite. I was the editor of the newspaper in high school and had an off- campus pass so I would get an egg roll and egg drop soup almost every other day. My wife and I ate there last night about 7 pm and had the sweet and sour shrimp. I seem over done or just keep to long. The shrimp was over chrispy, too crunchy. I did not come close to finishing mine but my wife managed to finish hers. By the time we got home an hour later I was throwing up. I thought it was just me. By three AM my wife was throwing up big time. I knew then it was something wrong with the food we had eaten. It also made me think that the Wok is now off our list of places to go eat. Last time I went, they got the order wrong, the fried rice was dry and had no flavor. Asked for a dr.pepper, it tasted flat, so went inside and she handed me the empty can and said "here it came from this" wouldn't give me a different drink either. Love this place the lady knows mine and my husband's order. During slow periods it is just the wife and husband but I feel like they don't get enough business to have more people. And some times the chicken has a funny taste but my husband doesn't know what I'm talking about. Love the triple delite and egg drop soup.
