The staff is very nice and friendly. It's a nice small family restaurant, but it's not too small. There is plenty of room and the food is amazing! My husband ordered the shrimp pho w spicy broth and I had the tender beef vermicelli bowl. The pho broth had so much flavor and wasn't overwhelmingly hot/spicy. My vermicelli was hands down the best vermicelli I've ever had. It wasn't dry, the flavor and tenderness of the beef was unbelievably delicious. I am very impressed with Mama Kim's in Port Arthur/Nederland, Tx. I highly recommend this place.

The food was fantastic and the staff was great! Such a cute place with a nice atmosphere. We got the brisket pho and some salt and pepper wings. 10/10!

Stopped by Nederland from Houston and found this quality Vietnamese restaurant. The salt and pepper wings are amazing. Love the chili and scallions with huge, crunchy wings. A must try here! We also enjoyed the pho broth and grilled pork in the vermicelli noodles. Happy to see tasty, authentic Vietnamese food in SE Texas! Also, super nice service and bustling with lots of customers on a Friday night.

Pho tai nam (rare steak and brisket) extra large with the spicy broth.

One of the best, if not the best, Vietnamese restaurants in the area. They are always so friendly and kind. Plus their food is amazing. When I was pregnant all I craved was their spicy pho. So much so that my watch started telling me how short of a drive it was to the restaurant lol. If you haven't tried them yet definitely give them a try and I'm sure they will become a new favorite!

This has to be some of the BEST Pho I've ever had!! I had the Pho Thit Nuong (Noodle soup w/marniated chargrilled pork) and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The service was amazing! I will definitely be back!!

I eat Vietnamese food often. All around the country. Menu is simple but has all the good dishes. Spring rolls were 5 Chargrilled pork was very good! Perfect flavor. Pork bun Bo hue was a very good rich fresh broth. A lot of meat included. CLEANINESS Restaurant is very clean and pretty decor. Most Vietnamese restaurants have sub par service which is most frustrating part of wanting Vietnamese food. But this place has great English speaking staff and very attentive! Service The owner Kim was very accommodating and very nice. She definitely runs a good business. I wish I lived here to eat regularly. Quality food and fresh ingredients!

Excellent service and delicious Pho and egg rolls. I like the number 11 Pho Dac Biet and add extra tendon. The canned Thai Tea is really good. Chargrilled spring rolls are great.

Delicious food. Excellent service. I have never had a poorly prepared dish here - from the pho to the fried rice.

I got my brother a sandwich as well to-go and he told me "I swear to God they got better." Yes, it is true. This place gets better every single time I come here. The banh mi dac biet just hits the spot every time. Their meat is made fresh and is combined with meat ball, pickled veggies, jalapeños and fresh herbs. The bread is nicely toasted so that you're not biting into a rock. The eggrolls are also perfectly fried but not oily. It pairs really well with rice/noodle dishes too. This small family-owned restaurant is ran so well. Even during rush hour, my food comes out hot and delicious. I overheard one of the waitstaff say that they were so busy they almost ran out of fish sauce. It's gaining popularity and it won't be long until they have a location everywhere.

Although the reviews were mixed, the majority were positive, and seeing that they offered pho, we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, the host was warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself features pleasant décor and a comfortable atmosphere. There were a few families dining at the time, which created a relaxed and inviting environment. The host took our drink order promptly and brought the beverages out before our server came to take our food order. We ordered the special vermicelli plate, fresh spring rolls, and the ribeye pho. All of the dishes arrived at the same time. The vermicelli bowl, unfortunately, was not as flavorful as we had hoped; the sauce could have benefited from a bit more depth and seasoning. The pho was satisfactory, though we may simply be accustomed to a more robust, authentic flavor profile. During the meal, our server checked on us several times. We did need to mention an issue with the shrimp in the vermicelli plate, and he handled it professionally by removing the item from our bill, which we appreciated. The service overall was attentive and courteous. It's possible that because we visited closer to closing time, the broth and proteins may not have been at their peak freshness. Despite our mixed feelings about the food, the quality of service and welcoming atmosphere left a positive impression. We would consider returning, hopeful for a stronger culinary experience next time. So we can revise our review.

Don't expect an H Mart-level of variety because this is not the same scale; it is a small business. It keeps me from having to order some items from Amazon or drive to Houston, and I'd rather support small business and buy it from here even if they sell it at WalMart. The service is good. There are complaints on other reviews about "unfriendliness", but those reviews are ethnocentric and don't account for the Vietnamese culture. People aren't going to smile, greet you, and ask how you are at Saigon Market. That is not a typical interaction to have with strangers in most places throughout the world, even if they provide customer service, and no one is entitled to that level of interaction and familiarity. Another reviewer stated that the clerk was rude and lazy when she asked where something was. I cannot help but wonder if the customer even attempted to look because there are few aisles and the aisles are organized by type of good. A quick 2 minute stroll up and down the aisles will give you a layout of where different items will be--that's how small the store is. If you cannot find it where similar items are, they do not have it. Most products are imported and you might need a translator app for some if you don't know what it is or need to avoid specific ingredients. The grocery store takes credit, debit, and EBT cards. There is a separate takeout restaurant--a bánh mì deli--inside the store where you can buy fresh sandwiches and drinks. Other reviewers complained about it being cash only, but many food stands and trucks in Port Arthur were cash only and some still are.
