So glad to change my dental insurance and be able to come back to this office for my dental work…read more This is a top notch dental office. I came in about a week ago for consultation. It's been 5 years since the last time I came but always remembered their excellent work. Took a while to make an appt since they are always booked. The front desk staffs are very helpful and easy to communicate with by text or email. On the day of the appt, I met with the Hygienist, Karen. She was as nice as can be, so patient as she explained to me why they needed to do the xray photos. She was so careful and thorough as she told me the process. Dr Walsh came in after the photos being taken and checked my teeth and gym health. She also took her time to let me know how to care for my teeth like using the right floss and threader for my retainer parts of my teeth, water pik etc. They are both great at listening and giving suggestions. I was supposed to come back for cleaning in Dec but they were able to send me a couple of earlier dates so I can come in earlier. I came in yesterday for my regular cleaning and met with Robin, she is the hygienist for my cleaning. It was the best cleaning experience EVEr!!! She is very experienced and caring! The whole process took about 40 mins or so I think, never once felt pain and it was done with so much care! I had been having allergies so I told her I would be coughing every now and then. She would pause every time and ask me to swallow and have some water during the process. My stains on my teeth were gone and they looked so polished! Thank you so much for taking your time and being patient with me. I cannot wait for my 6 months cleaning again. Thank you Robin, Dr Walsh, Karen and The team!!!

My two kids, ages 19 and 21, were both happy with their visits and cleanings as well. Today, I had a crown placed on a huge tooth with a very old filling - all done in one visit. I was extremely nervous, because I have a lifelong issue with difficulty getting my jaw numb for dental work. Dr. Park explained what this condition is and was very reassuring. He was able to numb me with no difficulty, and I am now so relieved to have found a great dentist. He is very pleasant and professional. My crown looks and feels great. Couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend Park Place Dental.

Ahh, my buddy Barry. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…read more 1. He was horrified the first time I came in. Not because of anything I had done, but because of the mess my last dentist had left. I started going to Dr. Armet when I was about 17. During my first visit, he makes a comment about the crazy amount of cement still left on my teeth from when I had my braces. He asks how long ago I had them taken off, thinking my answer was going to be sometime in the recent past. My answer: 4 years ago. He couldn't believe my old dentist left it all there for so long. He then took the time to try to remove it. Now I have fun spots on my teeth from all that cement that had been there for like 6 or 7 years. 2. What? You're not supposed to feel like you're in a torture chamber when you're at the dentist? Who knew? Not me, that's for sure. At least until I started seeing Barry. So he's drilling my teeth, and I'm flinching. Dr: Can you feel that? Me: Yes. Dr: Why didn't you say something? Me: What? I'm not supposed to be able to feel anything? Dr: Of course not, tell me when you feel it, and we'll numb you right up. Me: Really? I was a kid when I started seeing my first dentist. It was my only experience. I had no idea that wasn't just how things were supposed to be. Apparently the first dentist was cool with all the pain, crying, and screeching because he was hitting unnumbed nerves with the freaking tools. Thanks, man. 3. I no longer live out this way. But I still see Barry. Sometimes people are surprised that I'd want to drive out there for the dentist. If they read this, they might understand. 4. My hygenist is awesome. I've been seeing the same woman for years and years. She rocks. Yay, Deb. 5. Liz, the receptionist, is so nice. She gets that I'm one of those people where if I have my next appointment booked before I leave, I'll show up at the scheduled time. If I don't have the appointment, I'm not going to call and make one, and it's going to be years before you see me again. Because of this, they see me every six months. So, that's a smattering of reasons why Barry and his crew are awesome. I'm sure there are more. But I think you get the idea.

His staff is guick, efficient and will present you for your dental appointment in a short period of time. Let's be frank, he does not waste your time or co-payment value. I have had many dentists, but he is a fully qualified general dentist who will provide excellent dental care. He practices with the latest technologies, and takes a genuine concern with the patient's tolerance for pain. I continue to get good care from Dr. Armet and his staff, but they are not a cosmetology clinic. Difficult patients, who need special care, should seek a boutique dentist, who offers gas, music relaxation and massages elsewhere.

My favorite dentists!! And who can really say that about their dentist?…read more My teeth are very sensitive and Dr. Harelick is always so patient and careful during my appointments. I had several cavities and root canals and thanks to them, they're all fixed now and I no longer have any pain. With their encouragement, I have also started to floss regularly (something I never did before) and my teeth really do feel much cleaner. I also love getting a toothbrush and toothpaste goodie bag every time I go in for a cleaning :) The staff is also very friendly and professional. I've even been late a few times, but they were still able to fit me in. The office itself is clean and conveniently located in the center of town with a private parking lot. Thank you to the best dental team!!

I was with this practice for quite some time and eventually got my spouse to go with them too…read more But, at some point, I began to notice a kind of "upselling" and "switcharoo" tactics that made me begin questioning things. For me, it started during an extraction when during the procedure they began to pitch me on different options that were never discussed prior. Not knowing anything, I blindly agreed to one option which cost me $1200 out of pocket. I blame myself for not stopping right there and getting the details, but when you're already anxious and in the middle of a procedure, there's little time to think and respond thoughtfully. Both my spouse and I got the whole "night guard" pitch which was, again, during our procedures. It's not prudent, to me, to be stuck in a chair with people's faces staring down at you being pitched an upsell! Now, it may be coincidence, but when I arrived for one visit I noticed a beautiful, expensive Porsche in front. While sitting in the chair, Dr. H was talking about a new boat. It was uncomfortable, especially knowing how much I was paying even with good insurance. The last straw for both of us was when we went in on separate dates for routine cleanings. This was covered by insurance and should have been in and out business. However, we were BOTH denied our cleanings and told we needed new X rays, which we did - because they told us we needed them. Once they did the x rays, they told us that they could not do the cleanings because we each needed deep scaling. Again, we were denied basic cleanings and told we "needed" deep scaling. That meant 4 separate appointments, one for each quadrant. The cost? $350 out of pocket PER SESSION. This was after the insurance cut. Both my spouse and I had the exact same pitch that we needed deep scaling despite going at different times. Later, I spoke to others who had the same experiences. Well, we went to another practice down the road. They asked us to get our x rays from Dr. H who told us it would be $70 each. I was flummoxed. Our new practice said that was ridiculous and got the x rays themselves from Dr. H without any fee - practice to practice. The new practice examined both my spouse and I and said that deep scaling was unnecessary and our teeth were in actually in great shape. We are very happy and have never once been upsold on alternative options for procedures, night guards, or deep scaling. It was clear that they would have made a lot more from that deep scaling than the basic routine cleaning and that is the reason for this review: $$$$ I gave two stars because the staff they have are very friendly and the doctors, themselves, are a lovely couple. They care about their customers and I respect that. However, they are also a business looking to make money in ways that I don't particular find comfortable. I hope things have changed there, but if you go, be smart about what you need and how much things cost. Get quotes before you have any work done!!

The staff was very kind, they made me feel listened to, and when they found cavities I was glad I could go back the next day to fix it. The day I got my cavities done was a whole different story. When I went in that day, I made two things VERY clear: I was anxious, and I would need more numbing than the average person. Every other place I have gotten cavities filled at has listened and given me extra doses of numbing agent if I needed it, even stopping treatment to add more. I got the gel and one shot, and by the time they started working I couldn't feel my teeth but I was less numb than I thought I should have been. My cavity was far back, so it was going to hurt my jaw regardless. They put something for me to bite in my mouth after they sprayed water in the back of my throat and I flinched. As the procedure went on, my jaw began to hurt a LOT, right around where all the work was being done. I told them it hurt, and they kept going. I tried to power through, and thought I was doing okay, but as the pain increased my anxiety got worse. My whole body was shaking on the table and tears started coming out of my eyes. I even wiped them away! They just kept working, and didn't stop until I raised my hand. I then cried for a few minutes and had to calm down a lot. After that they asked me if I was okay throughout the rest of the process, but how could they have not realized I was in distress? By the end of the procedure I could feel what they were doing to my teeth, they did NOT use enough numbing agent. The cherry on the cake was when at the end, after I had cried and been obviously upset, the dentist told me I should get Invisalign or braces because my jaw is misaligned. NOT THE TIME!! I thought I was okay, but the second I walked out of that waiting room I broke down and sobbed. I didn't stop crying for at least half an hour after, I felt so confused and hurt. I had told them I was anxious and I would need extra numbing, and I felt ignored. I have never cried during a filling before. It was the worst experience I have had in a dentist office, and I will not be returning.
