As I walked to the material I needed to load, one of the young men walked over to me and asked if I needed help. I'm sporting a cane post knee surgery. The young man loaded my item into my truck. At this point, both introduced themselves. I thanked them, and then I told them I had been purchasing flooring from Bartz for 40 years. they thanked me for being a loyal customer. We need more young people like this!! I will continue to do business with Bartz and refer my friends to them!!

This was easily the worst experience I had considering all of the contractors involved over the last 18 months. It would be a 1 star review had they not at least came out almost a month later to somewhat improve initial rough work at the end of the process. Made it clear to the measurer and then the installer before work began that the area around the base of the stair railings needed to be right up to the edge as that would not be an area where we would be putting any trim. These are narrow hallway areas with expansion room on 3 other sides so no concerns of lack of expansion gap there. Also received the job order to sign off on and matching trim pieces were included which I requested not be ordered, but was told they were already ordered and could not be cancelled BEFORE I returned the signed order to proceed. Was told that I would be charged if any additional prep work was needed and turned out the subfloor was in great shape except for one area where it was a little high requiring the installer to splice in about a 10' x 2' piece of subfloor to level out. At the end of the install I was told this was 9 man hours of work and would be over $1,100 additional. I couldn't even imagine how that added up. Job could have been done in 2-3 days but 2 installers were here 4 days as they were only here 3.5-5 hours a day. Sent an email to Eric Langan who recently took over the company almost a week ago and no response. Really disappointed overall, but paid the full bill and learned a lesson I guess.

And that's saying something given that the entire store is the size of the sock department of your local Target. I wish I lived closer to one of the larger BBB stores, like the one in Brookfield, but I've learned to live with this miniature version.

He came back several weeks later took both doors off. Replaced garage door but it does not fit right. Hard to open and gaps on side. Bent the aluminum trim. Said he would fix it and it would look nice. Started to snow so he left. Didn't do anything with the dry wall from October.No storm door and left old doors behind garage in grass. That is the last time he was here .Had numerous appointment but he was a no shows.No call or text. Asked for refund and has not responded. He is not honest

See pics/pic comments. I was unable to post a video but our gutters leak, too. And he did not install the leaf guards.nRandy stated he would return to fix errors but has not- there were many excuses and no shows. We paid upfront for materials as he requested. We asked for a refund as he has our money for other projects, too, and he asked if we could wait until after Christmas. We agreed. To date Handyman Randy has not returned our money he pocketed, nor has he dropped off materials he stated he purchased for this and other projects. Randy is unresponsive and shouldn't be trusted.
