Cane Corso - stolen at Wolfgang
    Victoria S.

** DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS** If there was a 0 rating, I would absolutely choose 0. On October 10th, 2020 my Cane Corso was taken at this location. I later found out that this was not the 1st incident of a dog napping at their facility. I filed a police report and was interviewed by ABC News which aired around the 12th or so. So Wolfgang allowed a man on their property w/o a dog and he walked around talking to patrons and said he was a trainer. His car blocking the driveway, not questioned as to why or told to move his vehicle. My son was fooled by this man and while my son was talking to a team member of Wolfgang, the man took our dog and we have not been reunited to date. Wolfgang will not accept any responsibility for this devastating and traumatizing event. Our family is still hurting behind this.

    How my dog arrived

Do not take your dog here. The pictures below show how ours looked when we dropped him off and what he looked like when we got him back.

*Warning: Pictures of our dogs conditions may be uncomfortable* This training center is dangerously neglectful of boarding dogs. We took our dog for only a three day board & train and were horrified to get our dog back with two large gashes on his face, abrasions on his legs, and an infection! Immediately after picking him up we were concerned of what happened and how his training went only for the trainer to give us his food and say 'he was fine' and he 'didn't even notice' the not so fresh large gashes all over him. We called and called back to get more info on how their kennel and care conditions actually were since this place does a good job of hiding any pictures or tours. We later find out they're only taken out in the mornings for training if you pay extra for trainings then left stressed out in an outdoor kennel for the rest of the day and night. They defended their neglect that they cannot see to 'every dog' when they have a 'large volume' of other dogs. Our dog was lucky to be taken to the vet in time to treat his infections, fever and rapid weight loss from the horrible conditions and stress he was put under. We feel horrible to have left him here, and wish we did our research beforehand.

    Starving dog at wolfgangs

I adopted dying dog from Wolfgang. Dog was starving and very sick and couldn't even stand. I took him to 2 hospitals. After i paid for all his vet bills and discounts from Beach Front Animal Rescue, he could stand again and eat again. Shame, shame Wolfgang...

Protection training jumping out of my car to an attacker. 5 months after any training began.

I've been receiving training from this facility for almost two years now. It is nothing short of exceptional. I first received my cane corso, Leo, when he was 8 months old. I couldn't get him to go to the bathroom outside, I couldn't leave him for 5 minutes without him going insane. He would go to the bathroom in his crate, and bark at everything. I honestly didn't think it was going to work out. I brought him to Wolfgang after a celebrity trainer out of Texas who was 4x the price said he couldn't train him. Not only did he say he couldn't train him , but that Leo would never be able to be protection trained, and wasn't capable becoming obedient...... Wolfgang immediately was able to read Leo and seemed to have a solid connection with him. I left him for the 5 week in-kennel training. After 5 weeks they called me to tell me it would be a few extra weeks. Whatever they did in that time was nothing short of a miracle. The dog I was given back was obedient, he only poops outside once a day, he pees on command. He listened to commands. I could not believe what I was seeing. We started the group classes afterwards, and Leo progressed nicely. I have nothing but nice things to say about the trainers who run the classes. You can't expect your dog to listen to you without putting in the work. These men and woman teach you how to train, and keep your dogs trained. Within 2-3 months of dropping him off we were doing advanced protection training, and he was obedient off leash. 2 years later he is a very very good boy who keeps my house, and his 2 feline siblings safe.

Just waiting for more bite work. He is ready to go!

Been going to protection train for about 6 months now with my Rottweiler Bentley and the results are amazing. Wolfgang has been able to bring out the confidence from Bentley as he was lacking this. His bite work has gone from hesitant to all out chase down the agitator. Wolfgang is best when he is one on one with your dog. Your experience with Wolfgang will benefit you and your dog. I feel much more prepared for the unknown. I have the confidence and control over my dog to face real world challenges. Bentley has grown into an amazing friend and protector

Chanel @ 4 months started basic obedience classes for 4-5 weeks

I am very happy with the experience that I received from WolfGang dog training my dog Chanel went to basic obedience training for 4 weeks and I am very please of the beautiful experience they gave me! It's a husband and wife business and Laticia His wife is very thorough and answering any questions you have and she is very knowledgeable and on top of things! even after the four weeks that my boarded with them I go every weekend to the group training that they offer when you buy the package. This way my dog will be socialize with other dogs. It's such a great experience that I highly recommend WolfGang experience. I am very confident with my dog Chanel, knowing that she has the obedience to listen to me and protect me.

Lanna after her 1st lesson with Steven.

This place is AMAZING. I have a 10 month old German Shepherd Dog, Lanna, who is big, hyper and stubborn. While on a walk a fellow German Shepherd owner recommended Wolfgang Training. I was so excited that I had found a training center that specialized in German Shepherds. I had spent so much money on training that should have worked on her, but fell short. After one private session with Steven and a new collar, I am now enjoying my walks with her instead of fighting her pulling. On the 2nd personal session, I learned what to do when she encounters other dogs. Steven brought out another dog to demonstrate. I am now enrolled in the Saturday group sessions. I am so excited to have a well trained dog!! Customer service is outstanding, I asked a ton of questions and Ana was happy to answer them all.

    Ready to please!

Hello! Yes, we train all breeds 15lbs. & up!

Do you do dog aggression classes? My family and I just took in a 1 year old german Shepard and she does look like she has aggression problems towards other dogs, especially small dogs.

I have a four month old Rottweiler and would like to have her as a protection dog, is she old enough to be trained for protection?

Evaluations depend if it's a protection training evaluation or purchasing a dog evaluation.

I was wondering do they only train all kinds of dogs or only German Shepherds? And price wise is it overly expensive? I need to get my dog trained!

Unfortunately, this place was a HUGE disappointment and had a huge negative impact on our pup. Long story short -- Everything here is a sales grab. The few girls care for the animals but the "managers" and men there are just there for the commission of your packages. I had a whole conversation about their unethical sales pitching with the employee while picking up my dog lol. It's "how they keep the place open" - the employee's words, not mine. Astounding. Said employee also asked what I did for a living because I questioned their sales pitch tactics -- I'm in sales. Also, If you need their VIP services for your unspayed or neutered pup, please spend your money elsewhere!! Before committing to a membership, we did a trial day and spent hundreds on drop in days, grooming, and overnight boarding to see if it was a good fit for our high energy pup. Our dog is not neutered and we don't plan on getting him neutered so we chose their VIP rooms. His breed is also extremely high energy and they promised they could accommodate. I also inquired about training multiple times and they kept saying the trainer would contact me. Everything went great after those few visits, they seemed caring and said he was a great fit for a membership so we end up signing up. Then everything went downhill. Upon the first day of the membership, our dog all of a sudden had behavior issues and needed to be picked up. In the middle of my work day I call the shift manager, and he states that if we want our dog to stay, he needs training ... (from their same trainer that I've inquired 3x about before committing to a membership, still haven't heard back). I asked why this wasn't communicated ever before committing to a membership and they didn't have an answer. I informed them that I would've paid for training before committing to a membership if they would've let me know that there were any issues. Our dog went a couple of more times until they could finally get me in touch with the trainer, 6 visits later. Actually I had lost complete trust at this facility. To add insult to injury, I was able to speak to one of their actual workers that is with the dogs and she let me know that our dog is only let out for about 10 minutes at a time, maybe 3 to 4 times a day during a 12 hour stay. This is their VIP option. So not only is he left in a room for about 12 hours a day, with dogs barking all around him, he's not being stimulated nor played with just being let out to go to the bathroom. Contradicting everything they say that they offer. Their "trainer" is also a joke. He is supposed to be from the Marines and well-versed in the breed of dog that we have. Upon washing him for 5 minutes, as I was told, he said that our dog needed to be neutered before he could be trained because of his energy. Our dog is a Malinois and is not supposed to be neutered before 2 years of age. We've since went elsewhere to get our dog trained from someone who is actually educated on his breed and he's worked on all of his anxiety and reactivity issues that our pup got because of this place.

5 STARS FOR OUR AMAZING TRAINER JOSH…read more 1 STAR FOR CORPORATE LEAVING US WITH ABRUPT ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANCELLED TRAINING SESSIONS. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Josh as Daisy's trainer, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Josh was not just a dog trainer to us--he became someone we trusted, someone who understood our family, and someone who genuinely cared about Daisy and her success. From our very first session, Josh took the time to truly understand Daisy. He learned her personality, her behaviors, her challenges, and our family's concerns. He never judged us or made us feel like Daisy was a "bad dog." Instead, he was patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He made us feel like we were finally on the right path. Having Josh come to our home made such a huge difference. He was able to work with Daisy in the environment where she actually lives and help us learn how to handle situations as a family. He didn't just train Daisy he trained and educated us as her family too. He always listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and made sure we understood what we could do at home to continue helping her. After only FOUR sessions with Josh, we saw an incredible difference in Daisy. She learned so much in such a short amount of time. Most importantly, she was finally able to coexist with our 3-year-old child and 7-year-old child in a way that we had struggled to achieve before. Now our children love Daisy, they play with her, and we are able to see them building a bond with her. Watching that transformation has meant so much to our family. Josh cared about Daisy like she was more than just another dog he was assigned to train. He genuinely celebrated her progress, understood when she was struggling, and always treated her with patience and kindness. You could tell that he truly cared about both Daisy and our family. We felt comfortable with him, we trusted him, and Daisy trusted him--and that trust is incredibly important when working with a rescue dog. Unfortunately, after our fourth session, we were informed that the company had decided to cut their Dog training program and that Josh would no longer be able to continue training Daisy. We were honestly extremely upset and disappointed. I feel that the company should have allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions of Daisy's training with Josh. We had finally found someone who was willing to understand Daisy, work with her, and help our family. It took a lot for us to get to this point, and stopping her training halfway through felt incredibly discouraging, leaving us out of the dark and what we were going to do next. By that point, we had built a relationship with Josh, and Daisy had built a relationship with him as well. Starting over with someone new after finally finding someone we trusted was very difficult for us. We wish the company had taken that relationship and Daisy's specific circumstances into consideration before making the decision to stop her training with Josh. The most frustrating part is that we were finally seeing the results we had been hoping and working so hard for. Daisy was learning. Our children were becoming comfortable with her. Our family was learning how to better communicate with and understand her. And Josh had become an important part of that progress. Although Daisy's training with Josh has unfortunately stopped, we are incredibly grateful for everything he accomplished with her in just four sessions. He gave Daisy a chance to succeed, and he gave our family confidence that we could help her become the happy, well-adjusted dog we knew she could be. Josh is truly an amazing trainer and an incredible person. His patience, compassion, knowledge, and genuine care for the animals and families he works with are very special. We just wish Doggieland had allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions with Josh. After everything our family and Daisy had been through, we finally found someone who understood her and helped her thrive. Four sessions made such a tremendous difference in our family's life, and we can only imagine how much more progress Daisy could have made if she had been able to finish the full program with Josh. Thank you, Josh, for everything you have done for Daisy and for our family. We will always be grateful that you were the person who helped us see just how much potential our Daisy had.

Then Best Friends Pet Hotel bought the location, and it has gone downhill fast. To be clear, this is not about the staff. The people here are excellent, they genuinely love these dogs, and they are the only reason the place is still functioning. My issue is entirely with corporate. What has changed since the acquisition: The longtime manager was let go with no explanation. There is no full-time manager on site anymore. The new manager splits time between two locations. Business hours were changed with zero notice to members. I dropped my dog off Thursday morning,8/27, and only found out when it was time for pickup. No E-Mail went out. It is now 9/4 and corporate still has not notified members directly. The staff themselves had less than 24 hours' warning. The hours advertised are wrong. The actual hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and the location is closed on weekends. Check before you make the trip, because the posted schedule has not been corrected. Here is the real problem. Regulars buy prepaid monthly packages. I still have about eight sessions left that I paid for under a schedule that no longer exists, and I now have to rearrange my workweek to use them. Selling packages on one set of hours and then changing those hours mid-membership, without notice, is unacceptable. The dogs feel it. Longtime owners are already looking elsewhere, and my dog is losing the pack he grew up with. And when a business cuts its hours, staff hours are usually next. This team deserves better than that. I recommended this place to friends and family for years. I can't anymore. If your prepaid package was affected by the schedule change, consider filing a complaint with the BBB. Until corporate communicates with members directly and honors what it sold, I'd look elsewhere.

We called multiple trainers, had multiple consultations and no one we meshed with until we found Reymond. We started off with one class and even in the first class he gave us such amazing advice on training Hunny, techniques and was just a kind soul. We signed her up for private training lessons and he has helped Hunny to overcome some fears and training in real life vs a pet store. We were able to take her with us on a short Vegas trip where she was perfect. So if you are wondering if you should hire Reymond and his company I am going to say yes, you won't regret it. A bonus is he also has group training classes that are very economical. With Reymond's help I know that Hunny will become an amazing service dog for my husband. Also, if ur lucky u get to pet his dog Pluto and give him some string cheese :)

I started working with Brad last year(in the Northern California location) after adopting a dog…read morefrom a shelter. I was in over my head as this dog had severe dog reactivity and I could not walk her without having problems. She was unsure of everything and it was so stressful for me and her! Because of my dog's driven personality, I was encouraged by Brad(but not pushed) to do the board and train program. I wasn't ready to give her up for 6 weeks, so he accommodated me for 1 on 1 lessons and finally I was able to walk her with confidence. Ultimately I wanted more obedience training and off leash training, so I opted for the board and train program. After 7 weeks Tallie came back an entirely different dog and I am so proud to be her owner. It wouldn't have been possible without Brad and his team. I continue to work with him in so cal and he now works with her on personal protection and more advanced training.

Where do I even start…read more.. Let's start here. 5/5 is an understatement when someone is changing your life. Like many people who go to Diana, I had a completely amazing and lovable dog... that only I could see and love. It broke my heart everyday knowing that I love something so much, but nobody else gets to see her because they are scared and Rhye is scared of them, too. Going on walks...Scary and anxiety inducing. Going out for the evening? Forget about it... your dog is going to yelp and whine for 5 straight hours and annoy the neighbors. Finally, at the end of my rope.. I reached out and enter Diana. When I heard about board and train with Diana as an option I was hopeful, but cautious. I had heard mixed messages about board and train for reactive dogs, but were they wrong. I sent Rhye to Diana and Rhye was disobedient, anxious, reactive as hell and she ran my house. 2.5 months later, I got Rhye back from Diana and she was obedient, not a peep from her when I leave the house or make her sleep in her crate, and I RUN THIS HOUSE NOW. We have a long long journey ahead, but I wake up confident everyday that Rhye and I are going to get through this, and Diana is going to get us both there. I could go on and on, but for the sake of readers time, when you sign up for Board and Train with Diana, you are getting just that Deep Connection with your dog, Deep Connection with the trainer, and deep connection with the process. Videos and updates every step of the way. Even Post board and train, Diana has been prompt to answer all questions.. even the silly ones and she does it in way that represents her brand... deep connection. I will forever be grateful for the foundation that Diana gave to my pretty girl Rhye and I. I feel confident knowing that Diana loves my Rhye girl and is invested in her growth every step of the way before, beginning, and after board and train. GO DIANA AND THANK YOU FOR CHANGING LIVES.
