We recently hired Maggie/K9 Crazy when we brought home our 2 (yes-2!) 8 week old puppies. Maggie…read morewas amazing with the puppies and us. With her experience and TLC, she had the pups and us paying attention and following instructions in no time. She identified differences in the pup's personalities and gave us suggestions when working with each puppy. She also took time with each family member working with each puppy. With practicing daily as she recommended our puppies quickly learned all their basic commands. We are always being complimented by people we meet on the street on how well-behaved they both walk on a leash for being such young pups. Thank you Maggie to giving us the tools to help our puppies adjust so easily to becoming well-behaved family members. We highly recommend Maggie for training!

First of all, there are not enough stars to give to this program and Maggie. Maggie deserves 10 stars or more! It is never an easy decision in selecting a trainer, especially someone who will care for your new puppy in her home for 30 days. I am in the Bay Area and the breeder for my puppy was in Arlington Washington. The breeder mentioned Maggie and that she heard great things about her. We thoroughly checked out Maggie and made the decision to utilize her services before we even met our new puppy. Henri went from the breeder to Maggie's arms. This was the best decision my family has ever made. Not only was Maggie professional, but she has such a caring nature the moment you speak to her. She made us feel at ease day 1! We received constant communication, videos and pictures of our sweet Henri and his training progress. Maggie was able to add in her caring touch so that Henri quickly felt comfortable and at home with her. Henri's progress was impressive as seen in the training videos she sent us regularly. Seeing his tail wag and obey her commands melted my heart as I knew Maggie was someone special and we made the best decision in selecting her. Our boy needed some extra medical attention with something he had acquired before being sent to Maggie. She was able to take on this extra task with numerous vet appointments. I was kept informed every step of the way. She cared for Henri with love and compassion as if she was his owner. When it was time to transition Henri to us, she made that step easy for us! If you are in need of someone to care for your puppy/dog, train your furry kid, then look no further. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service we received. Henri is now home with us and showing off his training. He is potty trained, socialized, doesn't jump on guests, minds his manners and is such a love! She has made such an impact on our puppy for the rest of his life. He loves his new home and is a happy healthy puppy!

I brought my Morkie in, for what I suspected was a possible ear infection, thankfully it wasn't. I told the assistant, I didn't feel confident when cleaning his ears. I always feel that I'm going to hurt him. She took the time to explain the setup and supplies I would need, then Dr.George walked me through the process and so forth. I know something so simple, but I walked out that morning feeling more informed and confident about caring for my little one. To the assistant, sorry I forgot your name but YOU WERE AMAZING! I don't doubt, you love your job!

Recently, my littlest cat was acting very weird and stopped eating over a period of a few days. I thought it might be because of the heat wave we were having at the time, but when she got increasingly lethargic and started hiding, I got worried and called Chuckanut Valley. They got us right in! After quite a bit of poking and prodding, not to mention a full panel of tests, it was determined that my cat was likely just hot. It was a pretty expensive diagnosis, but I was relieved it wasn't something worse. The doctors and staff here are always so loving and kind. And while their prices are definitely premium (aren't all vets?) I do appreciate they have prescription meds on hand when I need them for my pets, and offer discounts if you offer full diagnostic panels. I am so happy to have found them!

It's very clear how much they love our 4 legged friends. Saffron is always sooooo happy at Rex. She always trots right in with her tail wagging . Use both day care and boarding . Wowie. Where to begin! We have been taking our dog here for years, and he loves the staff here just…read moreas much as day one. We have used both the daycare and boarding services with no issues at all, staff are very detail oriented, handle medication administration with such professionalism and our dog always comes back in great condition. Staff: The team here is responsive, responsible and always friendly. They have accommodated our many detailed requests in terms of medications, and feeding our dog. They are so patient as we are always experimenting with weird things like adding probiotics/different cooked food mixes, toppers etc. they label everything, and even return containers cleaned! Picture updates are provided (although I wish there were some videos because we are so curious what our doggo gets up to while we are away). Honestly we have never had a bad interaction with anyone on the team. Space: They do split dogs between larger sized breeds and smaller, and the space is absolutely gorgeous, clearly designed with dogs in mind. Take a tour and see for yourself! Dogs are not left alone overnight. There is staff at all times and this was a big draw for why we chose Rex for boarding. There is also outdoor space complete with water activities and things to play with- again another reason we chose Rex. it can be difficult to find a daycare that offers outdoor space in Vancouver! It is also worth mentioning my doggo has never been returned to us with any cleanliness issues. I will note if your dog doesnt like sleeping in an open group environment you might need to pay a bit more for a more private sleeping format. Pricing:Pricing has always been very transparent. You can look on the website and find it listed clearly. I think it's comparable to similar facilities. There are some surcharges for boarding at peak times (ie. $15/night for Christmas) but I think thats understandable. In addition there are fees for medication administration (5 bucks/day) and a deposit (that goes towards your booking) to reserve boarding over stat holidays, but these have always been clear upfront, and staff are responsive to emails/happy to provide quotes before booking so you know exactly what to expect. We don't find the pricing to be unreasonable or ever a surprise although we haven't jumped on the daycare club card discount they offer ($390 for 10 full days) just because it can be lot up of upfront cost for a total 10 dollar discount minimum. However, it's worth noting club cards have no expiry and are totally refundable and likely make sense for other people who maybe take their doggo more regularly than us. Honestly, we once bought a half day card and totally forgot we had it! We were reminded by diligent staff! Most importantly:When we bring our doggo he is always excited and just immediately runs to the staff who are there to greet him. We think he truly adores the staff and his furry friends at Rex. We honestly have no complaints! I'm sure each dog is different so we can only speak to our own experience, but Rex has been great for us so far. If you are considering this place I'd say you really have got nothing to lose checking them out!
