My smaller dog had a curvature in his back indicating he had been kept in a crate or kennel that was too small for him, according to my vet. My larger dog had a raging infection, temp of 104 (101 is normal), very high white blood cell count, would not eat...He had to be put in antibiotics. I don't know what happened to my dogs at this place, but it was not good. I would actually say I would give them no stars. My larger dog was so bad that we were talking about euthanasia.

One of our dogs is very high anxiety when it comes to groomers and they've had no issues with him here, which is amazing. We haven't been able to get his nails trimmed anywhere else because he freaks out too much but the groomers here are magical and get it done each time. It's a bit pricey but worth it to know our dogs are well taken care of. They also come back so handsome each time!

You hear of all these sitting services never showing up to feed or play with animals and my family had a tragedy happen when a boarding service kept our dog in a cage instead of the run we ordered, and something horrific happened so I will forever be scared. Nancy understands how much we love our cats and how worried we get for our little bundles of dopamine. I will always recommend Snuggles! The house is clean and well looked after and there is clear plexiglass between the kitty rooms and my cat just stared at the other cats. No fights or hissing. We do not know what happened while she was in their care, but her changed behavior strongly suggests a traumatic incident occurred during her last stay. Before this, we had used them many times in the last year without any issues. Our last experience, however, was unacceptable. Her change in behavior is heartbreaking and our trust in this facility is completely broken. I wish we had paid closer attention to the red flags other customers have noted in reviews, such as injuries and a lack of accountability from management. Like other reviewers, we now believe this facility's quality of care has seriously degraded since July 2025. Do not be fooled by past positive experiences or the assumption that your pet will be fine. I cannot in good conscience recommend Tails-A-Waggin Dog & Cat Inn to anyone. We had to leave our 2.5 month puppy for over a week, along with our other pets, so we were picky! This little dog was just beginning to bond with us and we were feeling so guilty about that, fearing he'd forget about us when we returned. Luckily Todd stepped in for full time overnight stays and the pets could stay home with a very kind sitter. We received tons of pictures and updates from Todd during the vacation, as we always have each time we have hired him after that. Todd has taken care of things promptly that have happened during his stays...a dead possum in the backyard, a fallen tree, etc. Barb is extremely prompt and responsive for scheduling and schedule change requests. We are very happy leaving our pets in the capable hands of the Whisker Sitter.
