I had seen her in person and asked if she could help me find a better physical therapist because ATI where she sent me wasn't working. After 6 session with them at $150 each session; I felt worse. She wrote it down that she would help me find someone. She also was supposed to fill out disability paperwork for me as we discussed that meeting. Lastly, she said she would get my results from the urologist that charged me $400 & didn't send over the results. I felt so happy & listened to after seeing her in person. This is Friday. Monday comes and goes. I call to ask if there's any update on the physical therapist. No answer - i left a message. I called for two weeks straight & nobody returned my call or contacted me back. I left 10 messages. Finally they answered and said that they needed to call me back. It's been about 14 days and I'm in so much pain because I haven't seen a physical therapist. I find my own since I can't wait any longer. I need Michelle to send a referral. I call for the referral & She told me I wasn't doing what she wanted so she never sent over the paperwork they were requesting and that I needed to do the X-ray & when I asked which X-ray? I have never been told to do an X-ray as I did the MRI. She said she would call me back. They called to say she had sent over the paperwork i was requesting. She just never responded to that question about the X-ray & said she would be sending the paperwork that the disability specialist. This is after 3 weeks now. She just never brought up the X-ray again; I think she was completely confusing me with something else. They attempted twice now to request the information from her. In 30 days she has not responded. I found my own physical therapist & I've been going since but I need to find another doctor because I have no faith in this place anymore. Sorry if anyone ended up having a bad experience as well.

They were helpful with all the paperwork and were very prompt with everything. Now as for Dr.Ong there are not enough kind words I can say about her. She was professional while compassionate. She was thorough and explained everything to me without leaving out any details. She took her time and I never felt rushed through the entire process. She is honestly an Angel from heaven. I would like to say I am lucky I got the increase…read moreI deserved, but it was not luck, it was the diagnostic and evaluation skills and understanding of my particular issue and history and how she (Dr. Ong) presented/reported that led to a successful outcome. The VA evaluation and claim process is pretty tortuous even on a good day. I'm just glad that Dr. Ong has the clinical skills and compassion that she does. I would be happy to have her as my primary care practitioner any day of the week.

I went to see Mary Nara at P-3 Medical Group for TMJ treatment. In the state of Nevada, TMJ is an…read moreinsurable medical condition. I told her that in my previous doctor's records, she would find the signed Medical Necessity Script needed for the oral surgeon and prosthodontist to file the treatment plan with Aetna. Every time I talk to her and mentioned it, she changed the subject or ignored it like it was not her problem. My lower jaw was sticking out one inch to the left and I could not eat. I went down to 92 lbs and eventually went into the hospital for failure to thrive. She asked me what I thought the problem was and I told her it was from the TMJ. It was causing so much pain that I could not open my mouth to brush my teeth or eat and the anxiety it caused was unbearable. I mentioned several times that I had two businesses, but I could work until it was fixed. The misalignment of my jaw was so severe, it knocked out almost all of my teeth which now made it a medical for dental claim. I have been permanently disabled since 2008. It took me over a year to find an oral surgeon and a prosthodontist that could repair the damage. They said it would take one year of oral surgery, and they could only replace my now damaged teeth with implants and that dentures were not an option. My oral surgeon also said that because it had not been treated, I developed Periodontal Disease and was at risk of having a stroke. Mary told me she had 1500 patients and she could not remember everything, so I was totally neglected until I almost died. I was invisible to her and everyone at P-3 Medical Group. My sister was so mad and upset that she flew to Las Vegas and called Mary as an emergency. She reminded Mary that there was a previous Medical Necessity script on file, but I needed a new one from her. I did everything on my own, which included finding the specialists that could treat my injury and getting verbal permission from Aetna to proceed with the claim. She told Mary I had to do everything on my own without her help and all I needed from her now was the Medical Necessity script so they could file the claim. Mary refused to give me a Medical Necessity Script and told me to go to the UNLV Medical Dental School. Both my sister and I hit the roof. She STILL did not understand that TMJ is an insurable medical condition. There is no way that the UNLV dental school could help me. No dentist could help me because it was a TMJ medical problem. Her neglect ruined my health and my life. It forced me to cancel all of my business clients and contracts. I am 5 foot 6 and still only 92 pounds. Complaints have been filed with Aetna who I had been working with closely on this claim. A lawsuit is pending against Mary Nara and P-3 medical group for neglect and punitive damages.

He seems to hate his job and wants to get you out of there as quickly as he can. Just not a very friendly attitude at all. Today I was screamed at for almost 20 minutes by workers at this medical office. I've had multiple…read morenegative experiences, especially with the office manager. Today (10/17), when I was simply trying to obtain my medical notes, Vivian and the office manager screamed at me, continuously talked over me, invalidated the truth, and verbally assaulted me. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients should feel respected and supported. My initial visit on 9/20 was due to a serious medical emergency--I was found unconscious and rushed to the hospital. I was seeking immediate outpatient medical treatment and expected the office to provide professional assistance during this critical time. However, that was far from the case. When I first arrived on 9/20, I was required to sign a privacy policy notice agreement but was never shown the actual policy. Later, on 9/23, I tried accessing my medical notes through their online portal, but encountered issues. Vivian helped set up my account and spent almost 30 minutes troubleshooting the portal, only to tell me she would call me back once she could see it from the user's perspective. I never received that call and was left completely in the dark about my medical records. Due to the condition I was in after the hospital visit, I was unable to handle all my medical and business matters, so my mother (who is my caretaker) called on my behalf. She also experienced passive-aggressive, uncooperative behavior from the office manager. Despite multiple calls and follow-ups over three weeks, we've received little to no resolution and extreme unprofessionalism. After more than 10 calls with no resolution and today's disturbing confrontation with Vivian and the office manager, I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the Nevada State Board for the mismanagement of my care and the verbal abuse I experienced. In the meantime, I've decided to maintain my composure, disengage, and pursue alternative care away from this toxic and verbally abusive environment.

I wanted a D.O., not an…read moreM.D. From my experience, most M.D.s take a narrow-minded, non-functional approach to medicine. They're trained to treat disease, not prevent it. Osteopathic training is more holistic, viewing the body as an integrated organism, not simply the sum of its parts. Unfortunately, many Osteopaths disregard their functional training and essentially practice as M.D.s. I wanted a real, practicing Osteopath, not an Osteopath in name-only, so I Googled "Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy Las Vegas" and Dr Wirtz's website was displayed at the top of the search results. OMT is a little-known physical therapy, conceptually similar to Chiropractic, but practiced by an actual medical doctor, not a Chiropractor. I visited an Osteopath years ago when I was experiencing some back pain due to a sports injury and he fixed my back in one session. Currently, I have no pain, but I theorized any D.O. who actively practices OMT is a real D.O., not someone who settled because he couldn't get into an M.D. school. I'm pleased to report my research paid off. Everything about my visit to Dr. Wirtz's office was five stars. His office staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the wait time was minimal. Dr. Wirtz himself was amazing. He's obviously extremely competent, but beyond that, he communicated with me in an adult manner, without even a hint of the condescension you get from so many doctors. After reviewing my medical history, he ordered a bunch of tests. Without getting into specifics, I can say that some of the blood tests he ordered are consistent with what I'd expect from a progressive-thinking doctor, who's concerned with prevention, not just treatment. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased and recommend Dr. Wirtz highly!

However, I can say now that I have met with Dr. Wirtz, twice, that I am very pleased he is my doctor. His staff is very friendly and they call you personally to remind you of appointments. (it's not an animated system) The wait time is longer than I would care for, but when the doctor does finally, come through the door, he is genuine, personable and puts all feelings of nervousness at ease. He patiently listened to my concerns, and I never felt rushed or hurried.
