I finally got the results of my VA claim update. I would like to say I am lucky I got the increase I deserved, but it was not luck, it was the diagnostic and evaluation skills and understanding of my particular issue and history and how she (Dr. Ong) presented/reported that led to a successful outcome. The VA evaluation and claim process is pretty tortuous even on a good day. I'm just glad that Dr. Ong has the clinical skills and compassion that she does. I would be happy to have her as my primary care practitioner any day of the week. read more

09DEC2022 visit at 10 A.M. This was a VA Community referral. I check in and the young Hispanic woman in middle asks me "what was your name?" I replied with "my name still is." Bad first impression. The young Asian lady that attended to us took us to the waiting room and she handed us masks for the medical setting. She had great communication skills and was very cordial. She seemed to have an intuition for the amount of pain I am dealing with due to mobility injuries. We waited for a few minutes while the medical professional (last name Ong) attended to me. She has great bedside manner and she treated my wife and son with the highest respect. While this visit wasn't perfect, i hope that they could have some teaching moments with the reception team on proper use of language. Not trying to come across as harsh because my speech isn't perfect, but definitely room for improvement in their communication with the people they initially attend to. read more

I was sent her by QTC and I thought my visit went really smooth. I was taken in the back immediately to have my vitals, vision then my hearing test done. The MA who took care of me was nice and thorough. I was then put back in the waiting room, waited for about 5 minutes then saw the provider, Vy, she had great bedside manner. I was in and out in about half an hour. Much better than any of my previous experiences for my physical exam for the army. Won't mind coming back here next year. read more

I have been seen by doctor Tanya Cavanaugh since 2019, recently she switched to VA medicine and I am now seen by Jibran Miller. I was a little nervous at first because I never had a male doctor before. I met him for the first time for my annual check up, and it went very well. I LOVED Dr. Tanya because of her bedside manners and how she explained things extremely well and you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. Dr. Jibran explained all my test results well, also seems like he cares for his patients and has good bedside manners. I like the staff as well, the front office gals are nice and quick at their jobs. Everyone I've come in contact at this office is always pleasant. No your staff isn't "well aware" of what insurances you contract with and it is NONSENSICAL on your part to assume I WOULDN'T CALL MY HEALTH INSURANCE AND ASK IF YOU ARE AN IN-NETWORK PROVIDER FIRST BEFORE CALLING YOUR PRACTICE. I can see why your receptionists have such poor phone etiquette, It always starts with the people high up. Instead of assuming that I must be out writing bad reviews to ruin your company or a "keyboard warrior" you should get off the keyboard and better train your staff, you say they are working diligently yet they can't ever return a call to me or someone else that left multiple messages for a call back. I was seen by Michelle Allen who was so thorough, so polite, so knowledgeable, so considerate and so very gentle. It was such a pleasurable delight, I was also very impressed with the cleanliness, everything was totally welcoming to a Vet and family. Timing was great also, from the time I went in the front door to the time I left, I never waited more than five minutes for any next action. I was thoroughly impressed with everything about this facility, the help, the appearance of the facility and of course the handling of patients. Dr. Pamela Winn really cares for the Disabled Veterans. I had a C&P examination with her the last week of June. Dr.Winn was "extremely" courteous, concerned, and listened to all my debilitating conditions associated with military service. Her staff were very kind during my check-in. The Serenity Family Practice Facilities were clean and very welcoming...Dr. Winn's bedside manners put my anxiety at ease, and her detailed report of my health conditions to the VA changed my quality of life, and the care that I've been suffering through for over 20 years. I can't thank you enough Dr. Winn...I can highly recommend her for her caring and sincere medical concern and attention. Dr. Winn and staff, if there ever is time where a Disabled Veteran is dropped off there from the Boulder City Veterans Home or residence for a medical appointment or care, and they are stuck waiting for hours for the shuttle bus or transportation...PLEASE call me, and I will be more than happy to provide transportation for these "True American Heroes", eithers back to the Veterans Home, or to their residence...You have my number...God bless you Dr.Winn and your practice. read more

I was sent here by the V.A. on multiple occasions for the problems that I suffer. I believe overall that I was taken care of for the most part as I had performed all of their tests as needed to be taken care of (I think) that the V.A. had required. I believe the problem(s) started to arise when I explained to Dr. Winn that my problems overall had to do with erectile dysfunction and that I was being treated with chemo therapy and surgery of my left testicle had already taken place and that I already had erectile dysfunction in the first place before that. I had multiple visits to this office and for some reason I had the (main receptionist) say to me upon entering the establishment (last time I was there), You again? (ME) and I said to her yeah, they keep sending me here. Go figure. What is that? I already had erectile dysfunction already and had/have no interest in her or the other workers that worked there that already came onto me and yet, I am treated like some guy who has a sexual interest in the women there for which I have/had none. Another VA GAME in order thwart the idea of PTSD and Sexual dysfunction of which falls under SMC (special monthly compensation for Veterans) on top of 100% disability. Funny thing is, since they came onto me, I now have a problem of proving my erectile dysfunction to the VA with these clowns most likely saying that I was up for it or something stupid like that just to quell the claims that I have with the VA. Sad place in order to have any VA claims at all I am guessing considering the extraneous efforts involved overall. If you can avoid this place, do so if you are a veteran of our services!!! read more
