I ordered clothing in early June and never received it. They show it as delivered but it was not delivered to me. I went round and round with customer service via email and by that time it had been too long and they said they couldn't help me. In looking up the Yelp page for this company I couldn't believe the number of one star reviews. In reading a variety of the one star reviews I realized many of the problems being complained about should have been negative reviews for the Post Office. This review reflects the years I have made purchases from Woman Within and the changes that I've noted both positive and negative. The quality of the merchandise is better than what you might buy from Walmart but worse than a major department store. The size of the garments run consistent in the Woman Within brand but compared to most clothing the sizes run consistently large. The price of the merchandise varies even in their own catalogs so it is worth making a list of items you are considering with the item code number and check more than one of their catalogs. (Once you are on their mailing list you will be flooded with catalogs.) On phone orders the order taker frequently offers you a discount on additional items. I usually have several items that I may want if offered the additional 20% off. Shipping charges can be on the high side but there are plenty of ways to get around them. Approximately every other catalog will have a code for FREE SHIPPINH. If you apply for a Woman Within Credit card you are given four free shipments per year in addition to other discounts. Speed of shipments depend on where you live. You are always offered expedited shipping for a charge but since I live in KY my shipments arrive faster than expedited shipment date so I go for the Free Shipping (usually arrives in the week following my order) Exchanges are a breeze. Each shipment has a packing slip enclosed and on it there is a spot for each item to code your reason for returning the item (too big, too small, not what I expected, wrong color, flaw on the item, poor quality, etc.) You call Woman Within for a return authorization and take your return item in their plastic sleeves with the tags still on to a return location, in my case the local UPS Store and Woman Within emails you a code for the return amount to be used on a future order. You can ask for a cash refund to your original payment method but they deduct a fee for that option. In becoming a regular customer I frequently receive cards in the mail with codes for additional sales. The most recent one was $50. OFF any $100. order. So I'm saving on prices already by using the catalog with the best deal and then I'm getting an additional fifty dollars off. You won't hear me complaining about that kind of a deal. I have become a regular customer that knows certain styles I always like. As for the hundreds of catalogs I get flooded with they are easy to bag for recycling. read more

I wanted to do a simple exchange for a product I got on sale. they wanted to charge me the regular price for the exchange because the sale is no longer going on. if I paid a certain price I should get that same price when exchanging. it's not my fault the sale ended before I got my order. then they stated refund/exchange are "free". Do not buy from the Woman Within website. We bought shoes that were sold as WW, the box said WW, but the shoes were W, so they didn't fit. We had to pay shipping and a fee to return shoes that were sent wrong. That was months ago. We never received the credit. I called the return company, they said we only handle the return. I called the customer service number, they said if you buy it on the website customer service can't help you. After an hour and getting a new customer service number on the website, finally someone helped and said they processed the credit. So we paid over $40 in shipping to get the wrong shoes shipped, a huge hassle to get the credit and they held my money for 3 months. Avoid this company online. read more

I've been trying to get a refund from WW for 4 months, and counting. I was charged with some kind of club membership. No one at WW seems to know what it even is and I've talked to more than a dozen reps. Comenity Bank has added late fees and interest every month, too. After the first 3 months, multiple WW reps said my account does not even show that they charged my credit card for it! I filed a complaint with the BBB, which said I needed to contact Comenity, which I'd done repeatedly, because WW kept saying to. So, I called one more time and got the same answer: call WW! I've been waiting for more than a week for some letter or email that the BBB said to email to them. Now the BBB has closed my complaint! (I had to chuckle. I purchased Flex-Fit Pull-On jeans from Woman Within as they looked like the ones I used to get from a store that has since gone out of business. They were not like them at all. The material was thin and did not even feel like jean material. They fit only for about an hour, then they stretched out so bad they were falling off me. I washed them and hoped they would shrink. I was in the process of purchasing 2 pairs of pants. As soon as the representative told me the total cost, I told her to cancel it, but it was sent to me. They charged me almost $12 for shipping and said that I could return the items. The refund cost was almost $11 plus restocking fees!!!! Only to be told today that the gift card had been used but no order had been placed. Women Within is not taking care of their business or their customers! I ordered sleepwear and understood that my item would be backordered till February. Yesterday I received an email saying the items were not going to be available till some time in March. My checking account was also charged for those items on the exact same day as the new notification. I called to cancel the order since it would no longer meet my time frame. I was told they didn't know when I could expect the item and they would not cancel this order, so I asked to speak to a manager and the customer service person told me to expect a call back within one hour. I called back 2 hours later and was told to expect a call back within 2 days. I asked if there was any record of my earlier call and there was not anything regarding my previous call. Very disappointed in their lack of communication and unwillingness to take care of this issue. I will never order from them again! I cant recommend this company and their subsidiarys either. Terrible terrible company. I placed an order in October 2025 and the sweater that was delivered was the wrong size. I returned it promptly and since the agent said I could not exchange it for the correct size, re-ordered it. I still haven't received it 1-22-26. I have been told: The order would get here by Dec. 26th, the order was shipped on Dec. 29th, the order has been back-ordered and will not get here until March 3rd or later. Meanwhile they have the money and on their credit card bill threatened a $40 late fee if they don't get the check before 2/2/26. This for a bill of $26. I signed up for the woman within rewards program to get free shipping. They're shipping is so expensive and of course I did not get the free shipping so I made sure I called and canceled that. I have shirts and shorts that are 20 years old that still look good but dealing with this app and this company is a chore. And the FedEx delivery system is really bad. It took quite a lot of phone calls but I wanted to make sure I was not charged next month for this. And I don't expect to get the $17 shipping charge back. read more

When buying two items from Woman Within, my charges were 9.99 each item, and 10.99 shipping and handling fee. The items didn't fit correctly so I was going to return them. There was also a handling charge for the return so I would only receive a $9.99 refund of my original purchase or a gift card for a new purchase with no fees. Many years ago, the quality of the items was acceptable but not any more. Cheap fabric and sizes way off. For example, I ordered 2 of the same item in the same size except in different colors. One was much smaller than the other and cheaper fabric ! I recently ordered 3 items from the catalog. The very next day I received another catalog with slightly discounted prices on my items. My order was for over $100. The difference in price was only $9 cheaper in new catalog, but when I called for adjustment they said no. I hadn't even received the order yet, the price was lowered, and they would not do anything about it. Bad customer service. I get a catalog from their company at least 5 or 6 times a month. We ordered 4 skirts 2 each in size 18 and 20. They sent size 16 and 18. We were able to use 1 of the size 18 ones, So I filled out the return form with explicit instructions to replace them all with size 20. Months later the original skirts and my return form still in the bag were returned to my daughter's address. I chatted with them today and they refuse to replace the skirts or issue any refund! Offered a small discount code on my next order which I will never order from them again. They said they use a new return system now. I used the return shipping label they sent with the order but they told me it is a return label but NOT a return shipping label. I ama senior citizen and did not know about a different return system. Worst customer service of my life. I ordered 3 items 2 of which were on backorder. I received 1 of the items (a pair of pants). I paid through paypal. Then i received an email from Woman within stating they didn't receive payment for the pants i received. I contacted paypal asking why my payment was still processing and they told me it was because woman within didn't fulfill the entire order yet. I called woman within (multiple times because I got hung up on) and explained the situation. The woman within employee spoke to the billing department and he said the email was sent in error and told me not to pay over the phone because they would charge me once they send the other items. I thought that was the end of it. Then i get another email from woman within, this time threatening to send me to collections. Keep in mind i literally called for the sole purpose of paying and their employee told me not to!! You can't send someone to collections who is literally trying to pay and was turned away. In June we received an e-mail asking us to rate the product and learned after contacting Woman Within that it had been dropped at our neighbors door a month earlier. Woman Within required us to have a filed police report which we dutifully filed with the NYPD and forwarded to Woman Within. Then we heard nothing, even after writing to them. I reached its customer service line today and was told our request was denied because it had not been filed within 30 days of the item being delivered to our neighbor's door. Full Beauty has bought up almost all the large size retailers,so... there is no longer any walk in stores for large size people to shop.They have pretty much become a MONOPOLY thus forcing us to buy online. Full Beauty has decreased the quality, increased shipping costs to a ridiculous amount, AND made customer service non-existant. Now Lane Bryant is filing for bankruptcy. One thing is they really don't have clearance the price is two dollars difference in the regular price. Most importantly, the price changes as you select a item. Post Office has lost my return package. Emailing customer service and trying to get them to understand what order I am describing has been a nightmare. I filled out a lost mail form with the post office, but WW is so secretive about their address. It is nowhere on their website. The shipping costs are high, yet very, very slow getting to me. Every time I have returned an item, it seems like I am going to battle. I have been a customer of WW and companies for almost 50 years. I ordered a top and a cute skort about a month and a half ago. I finally got it and was looking at the skort and the shorts underneath were sewn inside out! The top looked really cheesy. Started to do the return process online and realized that you either get a gift card or charged $10.99 if you want your money back! I called customer service and got the runaround. I tried to tell them how the skorts were "defective" and was returning them due to them selling merchandise that were poorly constructed and shouldn't be sold! I use to order almost all my clothes from Woman Within. They were a great company and had good customer service. But things have changed and it is not that way anymore. Their return/ exchange policy sucks and you have to use a bar code (I hate those!) to get a free return of which you you have to deliver it to one of their designated locations. Never mind I work next door to the Post Office! That option has a pre-paid return sticker that costs $10.99. I was disconnected during a chat to get more information. The chat feature helps with my bad hearing. Nothing is ever in stock and it takes forever to get anything. Clearance items, at least the lowest price are never available. Sizing has changed and fabrics are cheap quality. woman within has now ensurped all the plus size catalog companies like Catherine's and Jessica London and the quality of service has gone downhill as a result. My sister-in-law got on their catalog with them years ago. She developed dementia and the catalogs and other material for her started coming to our address. She died a few years ago. Over the years I have repeatedly asked them to stop sending me their catalog. They will stop for a little while, and then they will start again sending me a catalog every two weeks or so. I've bought a few things from them just because they carry plus sizes and because I hate going into brick and mortar stores to try on clothes. Most recently, I purchased three t-shirts, all three in size "1X." They arrived today. Two of the t-shirts' clear plastic bags were labeled "1X," as were the tees themselves. The third plastic bag was labeled "6X" !!! I opened it. I'm big, but this would work as a car cover for my Kia Soul! The packing slip / order confirmation clearly show that I ordered 1X for all three tees; but they sent one of the three in the wrong size. Mistakes happen. But guess who gets to pay to return the t-shirt to Woman Within? I do!!!!!! Even though THEY sent ME the WRONG thing, they won't pay return shipping costs! I went on-line and searched "Woman Within reviews." They have really bad ratings. WW is NOT a BBB-accredited business. Between the cost of purchasing a shipping envelope or box + postage/shipping fees + the cost of fuel to drive to the Post Office, I'm guessing it'll cost me $10 to return the t-shirt they sent in error. I am not going to spend $10 to return a $30 t-shirt. I've put the 6X into my "donation box." I'll donate it the next time I make a Goodwill run. I have "unsubscribed" from Woman Within's emails. I will continue to "unsubscribe" and ID anything from them as "spam" until they are out of my life. My husband is generally the one who brings in our mail. I have instructed him to throw away any catalogs from WW. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I placed an order with Woman Within in August 2025. I received my order, minus two items, in August 2025. The quality of the items was not good, one item arrived damaged. Later, late in September I think, I got a letter from Woman Within saying that they were unable to get payment for an item I had ordered, and that if I did not respond to the letter by calling, they would cancel the order. By this time, I had completely forgotten that two items of my original order had not been sent. Since I had forgotten, I concluded that I did not need them, and therefore, I did not respond to the letter. They would simply cancel the item, and I considered the case to be closed. Yesterday, October 26, 2025, I was checking my bank account information to see whether my property tax payment had cleared my account yet, and discovered that Woman Within had placed a charge against the account used for my property tax payment, for an item that had been backordered (but which I had forgotten I had ordered, and which I had thought they would cancel (since I did not respond to the letter which said that the item would be cancelled if I did not respond). I called them and told them that the account they had charged was SPECIFICALLY for paying my property taxes, and they MUST CANCEL THE ITEM, and they said they can't, but that if I call the next day, someone would cancel it for me. So I called this morning, and was told that, "Sorry, the order is already being processed, so it can't be cancelled, but you can return it once it arrives." I told them that yesterday, I would told that they could cancel it, but they said no, they can't. So I called my bank, but since I had used a debit card, I could not place a stop payment on it. I am a retiree, the money that Woman Within is taking from me was meant to pay my property taxes. I asked them to cancel my account with Woman Within, and they said they're unable to do that.
