I didn't even know that was a thing! But the ortho I knew just from us both rounding at Emory convinced me he would be able to tell what was wrong. Unfortunately his horrible care and poor treatment plan left me no choice but to get the MRI. He of course ordered one but with my crap insurance plan it would have cost more out of pocket to pay for their facility rather than this place. $399 for an MRI! Now you have to consider deductibles because for some, it might make sense to use a place going through insurance. But for me this was my best option. In fact in hindsight I could have saved over $200 and not even gotten that horrible medical advice and just gotten the MRI myself. It would have circumvented a lot of BS I went through. You just go online, book your appointment and show up. Awesome! It was a very clean facility. They were punctual. The girl at the front desk was awesome!! She was so sweet and helpful. She was caring and just a great person to have to make you feel comfortable. She was empathetic as well. The MRI only took 20 minutes and I was in and out. Also, they have a 1.5 tesla machine for those who are interested. So the quality is good. And the read came back the same day. Also when the ortho called me he told me the same thing that was on the report so that gave me more confidence in their radiologist. Great option for some people, not everyone but it was a wonderful choice for me and they got me in quick too!

Since that was such a high deductible and the appointments at the hospital were so parsed, I decided to search for a private facility. After research and reviews, I chose this location. My experience was exceptional from the very first call with inquiries, to appointment availability, to check-in, to the tech who was warm, and accommodating. The only reason a star from the rating is because they didn't have the newer machine that pipes in music with surround sound headsets nor did they have warm blankets. Both of which I don't mind because the cost is kept lower by omitting things like that offered at the major hospitals.. The best part is instead of $1200 to Piedmont Hospital I paid $499 and got a copy of the imaging CD for my Dr.I will definitely be using this location for my medical imaging needs in the future. Great service! My…read moremom was prescribed a mammography and a regular yearly screening just to check everything is okay. I called Gwinnett Medical Center to schedule an appointment and this location was the closer to me. Once we arrived, a lady checked us in, but since I gave the ladies my mothers info on the phone, the check in was pretty quick. We took a seat, and waited for someone to call us. After about 15 minutes a lady called us, and we proceeded to the waiting room inside. There they have lockers where she could keep her clothes, and they provided front opening gowns to make it easier for the professionals. In the same waiting room they also have a mini refreshments, and snack bar. They had cookies, chips, sodas, water, and coffee. Very nice from them. My mom is a very nervous person, usually I'm always next to her holding her hand, but this time I couldn't. The lady said its not recommendable to be exposed at radiation at my age, so she'd prefer if I stayed outside. She was very nice, understandable, gentle and willing to deal with my mom which both of us appreciated a lot since I couldn't be there for her. Overall I recommend this place. Nos sentamos y esperamos a que alguien nos llamara. Después de unos 15 minutos, una señora nos llamó y nos dirigimos a la sala de espera. Allí tienen armarios donde ella puede guardar su ropa, y le proporcionaron batas de apertura frontal para que sea más fácil para los profesionales. En la misma sala de espera también tienen un mini refrigerio y un snack bar. Tenían galletas, papas fritas, refrescos, agua y café. Muy amable de su parte. Mi madre es una persona muy nerviosa, por lo general siempre estoy a su lado sosteniendo su mano, pero esta vez no pude. La señora dijo que no es recomendable estar expuesto a la radiación a mi edad, por lo que preferiría que me quedara afuera. Ella era muy amable, comprensible, amable y dispuesta a tratar con mi madre, lo que ambos apreciamos mucho ya que no podía estar allí para ella. En general, recomiendo este lugar. Mi madre dijo que volverá el año que viene y que ya ni siquiera tiene miedo.

I have been coming here yearly for my mammograms for a while. This year they were not nearly as…read moreorganized or kind as they usually are. Starting with the registration process and making an appointment. When I made my appointment I made sure that my provider sent my order. Being that I work in healthcare, I understand how the process works and therefore I was prepared to confirm my order had been received. I had to have my order faxed six times before they confirm that it was received. I called several times over the course of three weeks seeking fax confirmation only to be told, they did not have the order. That would lead me to again call my provider and have them refax the order. On my last call, the woman said she didn't understand the confusion because they received the order six times. Not sure where the miscommunication was, but I was not please with the time it took to get this completed. Then, on the day before my appointment I received a message stating that I needed to call them immediately and it was "imperative" they spoke to me before my appointment. Because I was at work I missed that call, but I did receive another call to confirm my appointment. When I received the message I immediately called back thinking something was wrong with the order, yet again. The woman I spoke with told me they only needed to confirm my email address, home address, and phone number. I'm not quite sure why they couldn't have done this when they call to confirm my appointment. On the day of my appointment I showed up 15 minutes early. There was a woman being checked in standing at the front desk. So I kept my distance to give her privacy. The receptionist said to me do you have an appointment. To which I answered yes I do. She then yelled to me from where I was standing what is your name, what is your birthday, etc. as I started walking closer to the desk. I was speaking low tone hoping she would understand that I wanted her to do the same. My hope was that she would mirror me, and start speaking in a lower tone as well instead of shouting my personal information into the waiting room for all other patients to hear. Once the check in process was completed and I was taken back for the screening, things which much smoother. The woman who did my mammogram was exceptional. I have never had a bad experience during the procedure at this location. However, the check in, appointment, confirmation process was a bit of a mess. I hope they do something to improve this.

First of all, if you are scheduling an appt for Dr. Levengood, keep in mind that they triple book…read morehim. You will wait forever to get to an examining room and for him to appear. He will spend about 5 minutes with you, then leave to go to his next appt. I have decided MY time is worth more than that. He's good at what he does, but I'm not willing to wait forever to see him. I schedule appts to see Diana Dean (his assistant in all his surgeries). She is very good and sees you quickly. If you need surgery, you will end up getting the surgery by Dr Levengood, but you don't have to spend your time waiting to see him in the begining. This way, it's a WIN/WIN situation. Diana is very, very nice and knowledgeable. I never schedule with Dr Levengood anymore if I can possible avoid it.

Running injuries are never fun! I had been using PT Solutions for years and asked them who they…read morerecommended to go see for a hip issue, so I could get referred back to them. Dr. Goodno was the answer. I ventured up to this office location to have an MRI done, along with an injection for contrast. Had a minor bump with scheduling my MRI but that was the only issue. Clean facility, with ample waiting room space. They got me back very quickly (wait time was maybe 5 minutes). Dr. Goodno performed the injection prior to my MRI appointment, and came in earlier to accommodate me so I could do the injection and then get slotted into the MRI immediately following that injection. I'm not a fan of needles but his bedside manner was great and talked through the process of the injection, along with the ultrasound to ensure the contrast hit the right spot. The MRI wasn't bad. Got earplugs and was able to finally doze off some after 10 minutes. It was supposed to be 45 minutes but it felt like 20 minutes. The MRI tech was friendly. I do wish I had some music during it. Overall process here was very quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour. Would certainly recommend!
