I filled out my paperwork at 10:45am and went and sat down in an empty waiting room. One hour later I asked the receptionist to find out what the holdup is. It was another 15 minutes before the receptionist called me up to her desk and informed me that my appointment was for 12:30pm and I would just have to wait until 12:30pm before I would be called back. Livid I walked out. I have my appointment down for 11am. Never do I set my appointments at lunch time. I set them mid morning 11-11:30 am Looking in my iPhone my appt was set for 11am. I am upset because the waiting room was empty. My papers were sent back and whoever saw them decided I was going to wait regardless of who made the error. I believe the error was made on their end. Another point is they could have called me back right then and did not. Very rude people.

It was a pretty simple process, and she was most helpful in directing you where to go. My next stop was the laboratory to have blood drawn before the procedure. After ringing the bell more than one time to gain admittance, I finally gained access after a passing employee swiped her card and let us in. The gentleman logging into a computer never acknowledged my presence much less say good morning. The person tasked with drawing blood never said hello, good morning, or anything of the sort. She looked like she didn't want to be there at all. My last stop of the morning was in the cardiac cath lab. Everyone was extremely attentive and the procedure was done without any problems. However, the care I received after the procedure (before being discharged home) was less than stellar. The nurse who handled the care was Kayleigh. At first she seemed attentive and came back every 15 minutes as was needed. However, at one point when she came back to check on me and do what was needed, she received a telephone call on her personal cell phone and without explanation she proceeded to leave to take a personal call and left without doing what was needed. When she came back several minutes later, she indicated that it was a call regarding her surgery, which was not something she needed to be telling me. She needed to just attend to me and what was needed to be done so I could be discharged home. Because of her delay in my care, it kept me there almost an hour longer. Health care workers need to realize that our lives are in their hands and their personal lives need to take a backseat to their JOBS!!!!!! This was a very stressful day for me as it was. I do realize that everyone has things they themselves are dealing with, but when you're being paid to do your JOB, you need to LEAVE IT AT THE DOOR and do your JOB!!!

First the phone representative was going back and forth with me while I was driving about the type of order I have. I asked her several times if she would like to call the doctor to fax over or I can call and she stated "that's not her job responsibility". I definitely hung up on her then got scheduled by someone else. The new person was able to figure it out from what I read off the paper and scheduled me for something different. She told me she put everything in the system and I'm all set for an ultrasound. My paperwork clearly said XRAY. If my doctor puts xray - does that really indicate ultrasound!?! Okay whatever! I get there at 730 - it was all these rules and regulations prior to my appt the day before. But as for arrival, Shannon provided lovely intake service. When I arrived they never put in the order nor told me they didn't have it so of course I didn't bring the paper with me. I had to wait until 8 for my doctor to fax it over and then they told me they had to work me in. At 8:45 I was told I was next and the entire lobby of people were cleared out before me. I will never use any imaging centers in Snellville again. None! especially not Northside. It is 9:25 and I am still waiting. I was for sure I'd be out by 9am. This is insanity. I will never come back. On top of it you can't eat or drink from 12 midnight the night before so as you can imagine I'm extremely thirsty.
