The representative indicated she would notify housekeeping and in about 30 minutes wipes were replaced. I would urge management to pay more attention to this high risk area with so many small children and their parents. It's the parents who are spending money at the mall so please be more respectful.

It wasn't too busy around 12 PM, so I walked around the different stalls to get a feel for what this food court had to offer. Thankfully, I didn't have to think too hard about what to try because one of my friends is basically a Flushing food expert, despite not even living in NYC. While there were at least 15 vendors, we only grabbed a few bites from three of them since these were my friend's favorites: - Fat Cat Flatbread 胖猫锅盔 - Liang Pi Wang 凉皮王 - Xie Bao Crabhouse 蟹宝 The food came out pretty quickly after ordering, and these three stalls awakened our stomachs in preparation for more delicious food to come. Overall, I liked that New York Food Court had plenty of seating and felt much more lowkey compared to the crowded and overwhelming New World Food court nearby. I don't think they use frozen pie shells at DiFaras. If you bought Air Jordans and thought you would play basketball like Micheal Jordan you are in for another disappointing experience. I'm honestly not sure what was more impressive to me; the soups or the sandwiches. I guess I'll start with their namesake, the soup. First time I came here I tried the French onion, since what better 'simple' soup to judge a soup place by, right? Excellent, right out of the gate - utterly bursting with caramelized onion flavor, and just a hint of brandy, I believe? I later came back and tried the Thai coconut and "thanksgiving dinner" soups, with each one seriously cramming a ton of flavor into each bite. Never thought I'd be blown away by soup, of all things, but here we are. The sandwiches are just as good as the soups were, and are priced really fairly for the quality and portion you get. Most of their sandwiches are made on their homemade "pesto bread", which may be the moistest, softest bread I've had in years. If you can't decide, they seem to run specials frequently, where you can get a sandwich & cup of soup. The only 'negative' I can think of is that since sandwiches are made to order, it can take ~10-15 mins to get sandwiches and the like, but this isn't a McDonalds, so I feel like that's expected. Besides, your patience is greatly rewarded. Skip the chain food; there's some really inspired, friendly folks here cranking out some of the best stuff in town. Well worth a visit, imo!
