The Bon Jovi theme is everywhere. Music videos play throughout the building, memorabilia and displays line the walls, and the whole place feels more like a tribute to one of New Jersey's most famous musicians than a typical highway stop. Don't be surprised if you see people taking photos of the displays while they're there. On a recent stop, I found it clean enough and easy to navigate despite the steady stream of travelers coming through. Standard rest area prices...ouch. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, picking up a quick meal, or just taking a break from the road, it's a pleasant place to stop. It's still a service area at the end of the day, but it's one with a little personality. If you're driving the Parkway and need a break, this is one of the more interesting places to make it. Shake Shack, Auntie Annie's, Starbucks and a convenience store are here as well. They had a few more stores besides the ones I just named as well. Seating is all in the middle and plenty of it but it also depends on how busy it is. Restrooms were clean and staffed as well to keep it clean. Plenty of JBJ memorabilia here which is very cool as well.

An employee put out of order bags over most of the pumps on the northbound side. When I pulled behind someone at an uncovered pump, the employee looked at me annoyingly as if I had done something wrong and instructed me to go around to a pump on the south side. The northbound side is busier in the morning due to people traveling into NY for work. How about instead of being anti-logic you get your ish together and have more than one guy working the busier pumps? Zero critical thinking skills. Two thumbs way down.

You walk in here, you can get a sandwich, have a shower, peanuts, wash your clothes, soda, reflector vest, hot dogs, car jack, phone cables, 2 aisles of kids toys, chips, cb radio, and a million other things. Once out of the facilities I ran to get a beverage and something small to snack on so that I could be on my way. Getting through the checkout line was easy. Once outside I stretched my legs a bit before I was on my way again towards my final destination. That is after I fought my way through the parking lot and back out on the road.

I've never seen the store of a gas station so busy! I'm from NY, I pump my own gas with no interactions. What is this place, a social gathering?! It so happens I won $20 bucks on a scratcher. Nope!! Quite the opposite. The restroom is easily accessible with good signage. It also comes with no soap, no paper towels, yes toilet paper as well as other peoples urine on the seat. Yuck. I normally only leave positive reviews yet I need to know to pass this exit and never stop here again. They're busy and I'm certain my review won't hurt them. Yet with how filthy this place is, I won't be back. The Subway is attached, this is also their restroom. Yuck.

I have plans every night while in Jersey and have some free time, lemme fill up with some sunshine. This Wawa had plenty of charging bays. I arrived after 7pm and the gas station was well lit. While you're charging, you can use the bathroom facilities or buy a cup of coffee. It's a clean station and there's lots of people filling up with gas so if you need 15 minutes to charge, be secure in knowing you be charging in a busy parking lot.
