My hair was just touching the top of my bra strap. I ended up with red hair that did not frame my face and was blunt cut to my shoulders. I cried on my way home. I also had to pay full price for the service. My husband called to talk to the manager the next day and he was told that I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks before I can go back and get it fixed. They also did not offer to fix it for free. Every time I pass a mirror I hate how I look even more.

Reception is always kind, professional & friendly. The stylist I'd seen for years left the area. I drove by this salon all the time & decided to give it a try. The first several appointments went well, until one day Sierra cut my already short hair super short, even with the picture open on my lap. After about 4 months, it grew out & I got back to the style I wanted. I didn't go back & make a public fuss about it. I simply & quietly texted her to let her know this cut was much too short. She insisted that she followed the previous cut, but... did you? Really? The style finally restored, I went in a week ago for a cut & color touch up. No need to dry & style it, I left the salon with wet hair. When it dried, my medium-brown hair was coal black! Again, I quietly texted her to tell her it's much too dark & it will need to be lifted at my next appointment. Her next text was defensive & didn't make much sense, telling me this was her way of treating the faded ends. I explained that it didn't work. The ends are still lighter & the right side is significantly lighter than the left. It took several days, but she finally returned the text saying I can come back in to lift it, but she wouldn't color it ever again. Additionally, she has cancelled my appointment in August & I should find a new stylist. She made it sound like the super short cut months ago was my fault & somehow, this extra dark & uneven color is also my fault. Moral of the story: High Maintenance is a lovely, welcoming salon & I would recommend you try it. But if you happen to get assigned to Sierra, do yourself a big favor & request a different stylist.

Upon arrival to this establishment the owner passed my daughters on to someone to do their hair. Not once did the owner express that she was not going to be the one doing their hair. Their appointments were at 10:00 and 11:00 and they did not get until 4:30. The service they received was relaxers, a hair trim, and flat iron. It would have been considerate for the owner to express at the time of our conversation that she was not going to be doing their hair, but I guess that is what happens when you are a person that is about the money. With us being there as long as we were you would have thought the owner would have stepped in and try and assist the individual that did my daughters hair to help make up the time, but she didn't. Thank goodness the young lady that did my daughters hair was really good so that was a plus. I will not recommend this establishment.

The first time my mom wasn't doing my hair. She was an amazing person but also an amazing hairdresser and color specialist. She passed away several weeks ago and my world has been shattered. I was dreading getting my hair done for the celebration of life this weekend, but my sister pointed out our mom was beautiful inside but always on the outside and would never show up to her own celebration without putting her best foot forward and I knew she was right. Michelle let me cry (multiple times) sit quietly and soak in the change and moment as well as kept me in high spirits with her amazing personality and complete down to earth easygoing and kind personality.
