This review is mostly for my girl Vanessa! She is seriously amazing and one of the sweetest people. I schedule my routine gel pedicures every three weeks with her and her only. She takes her time, listens to exactly what I want, and always does an excellent job. The atmosphere is really nice too. I love that they usually have those no-sound ASMR-style food and drink-making videos playing because they're honestly so satisfying to watch lol. They also offer complimentary drinks, including mimosas, and snacks with your service, which is such a nice touch. I only took off one star because my mom and I did have one experience with a staff member who wasn't very pleasant, and my mom's pedicure felt extremely rushed and lacked the care we expected. She paid $70 for the service and unfortunately didn't feel like it was worth the price. That being said, maybe the staff member was just having an off day. Aside from that experience, I've had a great experience here, especially with Vanessa, and I'll definitely keep coming back to her. read more

I came here a few weeks ago as I needed my nails done for vacation. It was around 3pm on a Friday and it was busy but not too crazy. I asked for a mani/pedi and a guy who I'm guessing might be the manager said no problem. After a few minutes I got seated and maybe 5 minutes later my feet were soaking. Well that lasted the better part of 25 minutes which I was none too pleased about. While this happens at many nail salons that's just an unacceptable amount of time. I'm sure they don't want to turn anyone away as thats lost revenue. But I'm surely not coming back due to this. The manager eventually saw I was waiting a long time and he applied a scrub to my feel/legs and exfoliated my soles. I don't know what the answer is to this issue but many of us don't like to be sitting around waiting for our service. The other downside, I got a person by the name of Van. Who was unfriendly was paying attention to everything but me. And did a terrible gel manicure, so bad I had to ask her to fix issues I could see with the paint. There are way too many nail salons in Solano County, so while the manager did his best it's not cool to let customers sit in the pedicure chairs for more than 10 minutes max. Also pay the cost and have a movie, TV show or current music on your screens. read more

If you can help it, try to avoid coming here on a weekend. They get super busy even if you have an appointment. I had an appointment for 1:30pm for 2 pedicures but didn't get sat in the chair until 2:15pm. The manager was kind enough to get started on my leg massage but it lasted for another 45 minutes, at which point no nails or cuticles had been cut, filed, or trimmed. I'm a pretty patient person and probably wouldn't have minded so much if i wasn't in a rush. But by the time I walked out of there it was 3:45pm and I had to go to work at 4. We were given a 10% discount as compensation, but I wouldn't have minded paying full price if the service was even just a touch quicker. The work that was done by the nail tech was really good and she was able to do it quickly. It's still a little frustrating that there were 4 clients that came after me, who was able to get a nail tech to do their pedicure before mine. I'll come back in the future since I like this place amongst others, and we don't get pedicures all the time anyway. Instead, I'll go during a weekday instead of a weekend. read more

I found this nail spa thanks to yelp, had no idea it was tucked in by Ace Hardware. They took me in 20 minutes before closing but they were busy so I was waiting in the massage chair happily enjoy enjoying a moment by myself. I guess they didn't like me waiting for so long so one of the employees came over and gave me a phenomenal, long massage! I was over the moon because I was worried because I came in so late they were going to jip me of my massage time but quite the contrary! My nails turned out cute and the owner or manager who works upfront was very warm and friendly. Will be back! read more

I made an appointment the day before with Duke. When I showed up it didn't seem like they knew I was coming. The place was bright, clean and looked inviting. Soft music played in the background. It was very quiet. I wanted the gel mani/pedi. I worked with Kevin and my hubby worked with Tammy. They offered a refreshing drink once we got settled. I got the standard treatment while hubby opted for the hot stones and additional foot and hand massage. Once finished, I paid using Venmo. The first time I came to this shop I was very impressed with their service. This second time around, not so much. I came in with an inspo pic and the nail tech said she could take care of it. After many attempts it was clear she wasn't very skilled with designs so she asked her co worker to step in. Neither of them could achieve the design and instead of cleaning up my nails she threw a couple of top coats on and asked if I was happy? No! I was nowhere near happy but after being there 2 hours I was ready to go. My nails are messy, bumpy, and the shape of the nails are thick and not even. She didn't bother drilling them down so they don't look clunky, even after I asked her to. Oh, she also cut my cuticle on my left hand too low, I left with it bleeding. Seven did my pedicure and it was amazing! Henry did my manicure. Both using gel nail polish which came out beautifully. Everyone was very nice and the salon was clean. Good: Tammy finished my nails and did a wonderful job! I am so pleased. Over a week later my nails still look wonderful! I brought my own polish because they thin theirs. This seems to be a common practice. So I recommend you take your own polish if your nails don't last the appropriate amount of time. Definitely recommend Tammy's work though. What could be better: Kevin began my mani/pedi experience, and I was disappointed with his entire service. Although I paid extra for a Deluxe Pedicure he took short cuts. Instead of following the usual sequence of applying and massaging the sugar scrub, rinsing it off, then applying, massaging, and rinsing the mud mask, and as a 3rd step applying lotion instead he put the scrub on and added the mask to it before massaging it in or rinsing it off scrub. In his language he requested a young woman get up and get this small brush out of a sidebar for him. The bristles were noticeably worn down, and gray. In hindsight I should have protested and not allowed him to use it because that brush was clearly well used, and not sanitized. He persisted in soaping up my feet with this brush and actually spent a lot of time scrubbing my feet and especially my toes with this soapy substance. I didn't want to make a scene so I let him finish. However I have noticed some kind of breakout on my toe area where he persistently scrubbed. I had showered before going (lol), so my feet were clean, and I've never had soap used in the past so I was bewildered by his persistent soaping and scrubbing. But I let it go. On to the manicure. He used that sawing tool to remove the cuticles. After filing my nails (unevenly) with the emery board he didn't brush off or wash off the excess particles before adding the base coat. So it was no surprise that after he polished with the base coat that the base coat had serious bubbles. I did point that out. Each nail had noticeable, 3D bubbles. That's where Tammy came in. She came over and saved the day - refiling and removing that base coat. Then she polished them in a most satisfactory manner. Unfortunately though I wouldn't let Kevin service me again, and I can't recommend him at this time. His service was rushed, and his methods were incompetent and unorthodox. The staff is selective in who they greet when customers walk in the door. When some customers walk in they go overboard by grinning, saying hello, asking if they can help them, etc. However when others walk in its crickets. Lol. Lastly, the spa has signage on their menu and online stating their "gel color extra $15." I took my own gel color and didn't understand why I was being charged $30 extra for their color when I had brought my own. However it was later explained the extra $30 was for the "extra" work to take off and add gel. I strongly suggest the spa reword their advertising to reflect a better description of why they charge $15 each for gel - for example the increased cost is for the service, and not the color (as advertised). I actually like the work of both Tammy and Kathy but they clearly have kinks to work out. Can't rate as high this time but I have hope for them as a new business. read more
