Impressed is an understatement! I was brought to Wonderland studios to be a part of a special photography project and was blown away with the place. Located in Anaheim sits this cute studio of wonders. From the backdrops to the props, this place is a photographers playground. It has a restroom and a well lit dressing room for models to utilize. **During Quarantine Review: May 2021** I came here for a shoot and was really impressed with the variety of backdrops, props and lights. During my visit there was a limit of 5 people to use the space. I didn't book the venue on this visit, but for $35 an hour (minimum of 2 hours), access to multiple settings, and convenient location with ample parking I think this would be a great venue to many more photoshoots in the future! read more

It's too bad they had to close up shop, because this was an incredible place to pictures. Close, convenient, and super friendly.

Parking is easily accessible It's $30 hour for a minimum of 2 hours. They do have speakers that are blue tooth accessible And WiFi It's a giant room with a variety of different backgrounds and props the only downside is the dressing room is across the hall meaning you change then have to walk out to their lobby and down to the studio. It's a little bit of an inconvenience if you're wearing certain types of outfits because everyone can see if. I feel theirs less privacy. It's only one studio so if it's booked u have to wait for other days. And no longer can you rent out corsets/ outfits like you could before. That's the only down side. Would i recommend this place? Sigh. I hate that I have to leave this review because honestly small businesses have a big place in my heart but for the safety of those who book here I'm leaving it. We are in the midst of a pandemic. This studio was FILTHY . Dirty sets, dirty bathroom, dirty dressing room. It was disgusting . The props and sets were chipped paint wise and filthy . They need to revise and reinvest in some upgrades . We were shooting with babies and were so embarrassed and fearful of little ones getting sick. We had to wipe down sets continuously with our own cleaning supplies and ask for a swifter to clean the floors because they were caked with dirt and hair. Also it was ridiculously hot in the studio and the only source of air were dirty, nasty fans caked with debris that blew into the studio when on. I wouldn't recommend this studio. They need to organize, repaint sets, and clean up. I hope they make these changes ASAP. read more

This studio is mega convenient. Super professional and has a great crew as staff. I really appreciate their updated studio sets and backdrops. And how affordable the space is. The spaces set aside for makeup and hair as well as dressing rooms are also clean and helpful. they';ve thought of everything! :D read more

Definitely my favorite studio. I travel down from the Bay Area just to shoot here. I love the staff, space, backdrops, set pieces. It even has a place for your models to change. The one single studio has a ton of space with lots of backgrounds to choose from, mix and match for whatever your vision is. Did I mention the awesome flower wall? This is great for so many things and is quite unique to this studio. Great price per hour, I can't find anything close to that price anywhere I go. If I could give it more stars I would. read more

Our friend recommended this studio and it was amazing, a lot of different settings and backgrounds that you can do with creative! They even have some cookies and Bluetooth that you can connect to your pandora play music why you take pictures! I would highly recommend this place! I've worked on a lot of shoots here and have only had the best experiences here. The studios, dressing rooms, and bathrooms are always clean and well maintained, and it's own parking lot. Lots of room, and so many possibilities with all the different backdrops, flooring, and even some furniture. The only drawback might be that it's not in LA, so it can be a far drive for pros, but this place is so worth it. read more

Wonderland Studios is not only a great space with literally everything you could possibly need for your photoshoot but Mike is also the best host. His rates are incredible for the time you get and the space you have to work with. I've visited the studio, both as a model and as a photographer and each time leaves me with a positive feeling of getting to be in such a creative environment. My favorite studio, period. Professionally run, attentive and cheerful service, and they are always adding creative props/backgrounds to use. Mike and Akemi are beyond great. Did I mention that they provided lighting, stands and modifiers as well? Plenty of accessible parking, and flexible booking hours. I also appreciate that everything is open and above board when with a lot fo studios you have to pull teeth to get them to admit WHAT you get with the rental. Honestly this is my go to place for shooting. I love it here it's like my second home. Both Saffels and Akemi are amazing people and very accommodating with whatever help I've needed when I'm there shooting with a photographer. The atmosphere is very relaxing and chill and their little waiting area is really relaxing and they even have refreshments for you there so that while you are waiting for your turn if you are there earlier you can either munch on a little something or even drink the water they have available for everyone. I recommend you should shoot here at least once to see why we all love this place. read more

I was asked to spend a full day posing for them, in return I was to get "full resolution, non watermarked files of the photos of my choice" from each of the photographers - that was nearly three months ago, to this date only ONE of the photographers has fulfilled his end of the agreement. Despite attempts to reconcile I just keep getting the "we'll get back to you" or "I can't find the files from that photo shoot" response. A waist of time and expenses for me it was. read more

I have done a lot of photo shoots at wonderland. It is such a cute studio and always very clean! Cheri does a great job running the place. They have 2 studios each with lots of backdrops and tons of lights, reflectors, and props. They also have plenty of room and mirrors for hair and makeup. Photographers have equipment available for rent, and models have an amazing selection of hand-made, great quality wardrobe should they choose. I've shot here multiple times and always love coming back. There is plenty of dressing space and the studios offer a wide range of backdrops and settings. It's very clean and professional. Unmatched service and an extensible selection of wardrobe for any model/photographer need. There are ways for custom wardrobe work. The studios are large with their own makeup rooms and restrooms. At the moment, this place only takes bookings over the phone, so you have to call, but at very affordable/competitive prices which can be found on their website. The two ladies who work/run operations here have an expansive amount of experience in fitting models into a great look and an unquestionable customer service expertise. You can ask for Lucy or Cheri. There really is no place that can match this business. Where else can you get customer service, get fitted, exposed to a vast selection of wardrobe, and have the skills of fashion to accommodate a photo shoot? Nowhere but Wonderland. I was recommended to this studio by three photographers it was worth checking out. I called in and spoke to Cheri since it is by appointment only and she was so friendly that I knew the service was going to be amazing. When we arrived, Cheri knew me by name because of our appointment and was very thorough in explaining the ins and outs of the studio/equipment. It was a very clean studio and you can tell they really maintain the place. They were in a room working on beautiful costumes while we had access to two different rooms but we chose the one with the chandelier :) It was a hot day so thank goodness they had a bazillion fans going on at the same time. The space is a pretty good size with many backgrounds and props. They supplied everything we needed for lighting and modifiers and we were even set up with the pocketwizards to wirelessly trigger the strobes. Cheri and Lucy treated us so well the entire time we were there and I just had to give them the highest recommendation. Their rates are very reasonable and you have got to check this place out! read more

The staff was ridiculously friendy and accommodating. The floor plan was spacious and backdrops were endless. A modifier came off on its own and broke a light bulb. The studio was honest, knew about the issue and didn't charge us. Needless to say they will have my business and all my photog friends. read more
