This place was pretty cool! Definitely worth coming too at least once. There's three stories and you'll want/need about 3 hours to enjoy the whole thing! Great thing about this place is you can come and go however many times in a day you want, just keep the ticket to scan back in! This place is a little pricey for the amount of things they have in here. It could be a few dollars cheaper to make the price right. There were some machines/activities that were inoperable. I feel like this place could have more potential! It looks massive but they could possibly have a few more small hands on activities somewhere. There were some broken machines/activities but not too many. But the rides were totally fun and worth the 4 stars! Great family place to go. Has 3 levels of different activities we spent about 4 hours in there exploring with a 7yr old. They have a bubble station, I believe it's called a 7D movie (3-D glasses and the chairs move and vibrate) they also have a mini titanic station, astronaut simulators, Hurricane simulator, and art illusions. Fun interactive exhibits for the whole family. We where looking to do something indoors with the family due to snow and below freezing conditions. This was a great spot to hang for a few hours with the kids with lots of fun things to do from laser tag, VR roller coaster, active sports simulator and so much more with 3 Floors of activities. You have to park way out back behind the building so not the best on a really cold day but overall a fun experience. read more

I am fine with pricey museums but I expected EVERYTHING to work and this was not the case today. One coaster was out of order. Multiple smaller attractions were not working properly (titanic 3rd station, hands free air hockey, etc). The 3D theater was the favorite and the worker (his second day!) was kind and courteous which would be nice to say about the lady running the laser tag! All in all a fun day for our kids. But wonder works, for their own sake, better check their stuff before the busy summer season! read more

This place is great if you have children. Lots of scientific activity's that are fun. A 4 d video. Some video games and a laser tag area. We went on a weekday. I would recommend that. There was an extremely short wait for anything. I could imagine some long waits on a Saturday though. I took. Lot of photos I'll add. I thought the sand table where you dig it fills in with light effect water was so cool. I don't think this place is somewhere I'd go if I didn't have a child but if you do it's a great place to check out. Keep an eye out on Groupon. There is a good deal on there currently. Lots of the exhibits weren't working. Twister - not working. Scan your kids custom colored Dino into the display - not working. Floor piano - lots of not working keys..: the list goes on and on. And there were no employees to assist with anything other than the rides that required an operator. The STEM room, just a joke. Laser maze was fun. Not worth the entry fee though. This place has a lot of potential, there are many very interesting games, interactive devices, and rides that really were captivating. There was quite a lot of well put together informational/scientific/nature related features that we really liked. Our 10 year old was a bit more wowed than our 17 year old but both enjoyed it. One nice feature is that you are free to leave the building and come back later that same day at no additional charge with the receipt/stamp. That being said we found large features broken, or not working at all. I don't mean one or two. It was 30% of things to do that flat did not function and there was no indication that it was broken other than the obvious. There should be a sign, or a person that might know that it doesn't work to defer the line of people waiting for their turn to see it is broken. There was not, the employees on the floors didn't seem to want to make eye contact, and there were many people inside that were visibly disappointed. I could see kids younger than 5 having fun because what does work is cool stuff, and they might not notice the features that aren't working. This is a costly place to visit. We started a list of attractions that were broken and just stopped on the second floor because there were so many. This left us with no real desire to return, and it felt like Wonderworks might be fine with that. read more

We went on a Monday and there wasn't any lines like the other people posted. They, like all businesses everywhere, are having trouble getting fully staffed. They are very military friendly, the facility was clean and well maintained. We all had a fairly good time. The second floor had a trivia station where you name the TV theme song. The volume was very low and the noise around you was so loud that there was no way to enjoy this station. We purchased the photo package with the family that they offered. We chose the one that was on line. They didn't say that there was only one of the three photos taken was accessible when you purchase that package. The building get you hooked, the price is the downside. Family of 4, was over $130. This is just a glorified arcade with some science experiments as you go. In my opinion this is a. $15-18 per person worth only. To charge adults $30+ is asinine as this is a environment designed for children to high school age, not adults. Wonder Works is an ok way to spend some time indoors on a really hot or rainy day, but I only thought it was ok. There are 3 floors of activities, mostly geared to younger kids. Each floor has at least one premium "ride" that requires some time waiting in line. The bottom floor has a bicycle swing that you pedal to make it go upside down and around a center rod. The top floor had a roller coaster simulator. This ride was really fun for my daughter but only one car was running (they have 2) and the wait time was really long. One boy in line had waited an hour to ride. My daughter got on quickly (15 min wait) because she was a single and rode with another single rider who had been waiting much longer. It was a little awkward because you are in a confined dark cabin with a stranger but they had the interior on video screens so I could keep an eye on her. The rest of the exhibits are similar to a science center or kids interactive fun park. There is a laser room where the kids play a game to cross the room without cutting a laser beam, a "bed of nails" where you are raised on nails to show how weight distribution works, a tornado simulator, etc. My 14 year old was bored and wanted to leave almost immediately. My 11 year old had a great time on the big rides but skipped most of the other stuff. Bear in mind that the premium rides have height restrictions so not all of your littles will be able to ride, and some require closed toe shoes to participate. We got in at a discounted rate due to my father-in-law's military id. If we had paid full price I would have been more disappointed, but it wasn't too much money to keep everyone busy before dinner at Gettin' Basted across the parking lot. It was very clean, well air conditioned, and staff were friendly. The exit was super hard to find and there are a LOT of stairs between floors. There were elevators but they run really slowly so you have to wait a long time to board and get to the next floor. I would recommend just cruising each floor quickly before deciding where to start. We would have enjoyed the top floor the most, but we gave it the least time because it was the last place we visited. If we had done some reconnaissance first, we would have started there and skipped most of the lower floor. read more

We had a lot of fun! This place is pretty cool! But we did have a run into a very very rude employee. He was working the ride where you had to pedal to go upside down, and he closed the ride down 30 minutes before closing, and clearly didn't want to be working. He was being demanding, and telling us to get on the scale rudely, and telling us to hurry up. That made our first visit kinda bad. I understand that he was having a bad day, but he was showing it very badly. We hope the next time we visit that this won't happen again. But regardless, it was fun! read more

This place is billed as a science museum. First, it was expensive. Even with a discount, my wife and I and 4 grandchildren paid 163 dollars. Half of the equipment was broken, and the employees did nothing to control people using the equipment over and over and not giving others an opportunity to try it. The kiddo wanted to go. So while the rest of the fam was shopping we went to Wonderworks. Looking at the brochure I knew it would be fun. He had a great time and I had fun too. We only had about three hours to play, but we could have easily spent half the day there. There's so much to see and do, and many things you'll want to do again and again. My only tip is to wear closed toe shoes. There's a few activities you can't do with sandals. It was pricey, but I had a great time with the kiddo! I had previously rated the Shipwreck Museum, and both are similar in price. But Wonderworks is way better! read more

So expensive and not worth the price! There was a lot of attractions that weren't working and the whole 3rd floor was shut down for updating/repairs. The air hockey, the air balloon, the sound room, and a couple things just on the second floor weren't working The "army" area had a gentleman working it and the the first words out of his mouth when we walked in was "you need to be out by 5 pm because Im closing it then"....it was 425 pm when we walked in there and two of the attractions in that small room weren't even working. For the price we pay to get in, there should at least be a warning of the attractions that are not able to be in use. Very disappointing! read more

This place is very cool. Good for all ages 2-11ish probably. We just spent 4 hours there, we could've easily spent 6 hours there but my almost 2 year old was getting sleepy and over stimulated. We did encounter 1 arcade game that didn't work, I spoke with an associate and they sent someone to come fix the game and reimbursed us our lost $$. There is a little cafe there and the food is pretty cheap. And the whole experience seems pretty reasonably priced. I would def go again when our kids are older. read more

Pretty nice place, but the Gatlinburg location is bigger and has more stuff to do. It does get very overcrowded, and some parents don't watch their children so youre kinda stuck navigating around them. The workers are nice and accommodating, and the exhibits stayed pretty clean. Worth a trip if you have super active kids. We were in there for about 5 hours but you can do it quicker if need be. Getting the all access pass is way cheaper than the vip and there's really not a difference in the two. My family always loves Wonder Works but it is a little pricey. if you're able to, book a deal with both The Titanic Museum and Wonder Works and it'll be worth the money read more

This place is just okay and most definitely not worth your money. Everything is either broken or way too long of a wait for a "ride" that lasts .2 seconds. This was our first time here. Heard great things about this place but right now during covid there's no point in buying any tickets in advance; not even sure why they offer the option. My family and I waited in line for an hour and 30 minutes which took up most of the time we had set aside to be at this place. We literally only spent 20 mins inside because we had other things in between our day we had to be at, at a certain time. We enjoyed our 20 mins but had we known it was going to take this long waiting, we would have never spent the money and just made the decision while we were in line. read more

When we got to Branson, we didn't even know this place existed! Our party consisted of people ages 33, 32, 25, and 13. We all had a blast! The staff was very friendly and made sure to thoroughly clean each ride between guests. They also had plenty of hand sanitizer spaced through out the facility. My kids 9 and 6 had a blast. I would say much younger and they would get overwhelmed or bored. Would be great for older kids and teens though. It was nice to be able to keep saying yes when the kids asked to do stuff (since you didn't have to pay by the activity). It was like a children's museum combined with an arcade or family fun place. 9 yo loved the XD theater best and 6 yo liked the hands on activities like the topographic sand map. One and done. 1-2 hour wait outside another 30 inside. They advertise 2 lines. One for tickets purchased one for buying tickets. Not true! One big line. Only one person checking you in. No social distancing inside. Nice for one time but plan to spend hours in line. No way to go to bathroom in line. They need to find a better way. read more
