And her portal responce is very slow. SO, if you want to reach the great and wonderful Dr. Gray, make a vitual appointment. She will give you all the time you need. You will get your perscritions and refills. She will call them in right as you are on the telemed with her. You can bypass the front desk this way, by making a virtual appointment. Dr Gray has been my primary doctor for around 30 years now. She is a great doctor. I still see her even thouh I moved from Montgomery County to PG County and then to Frederick County. The walk in appointments are a huge benefit if you need to see her urgently. Though you might have to wait a bit. The telemed is great for checking in. You do have to see her once or twice a year in person. Which is a small price to pay for her excellent care.

I have been a patient with Dr. Menon for almost 25 years. In the beginning, she was an amazing…read moredoctor who genuinely cared about my well being and did a lot of due diligence for me to get to the bottom of some of my issues. I've been a constant patient with at least 2 - 3 appointments a year. The last 6 years, i've noticed that I've seen her less and her nurse practitioner more and more. It got to the point where i had gone YEARS without seeing her. Fast forward to the past month. As i've done for the last 20 years, i made a request for my normal refills. This time, I'm denied because "I'm not a member" I'm down to a week's worth of meds and she denies me. I call her office and found out she had transitioned to concierge medicine and they claim to have given me notice, and they may have, in the form for automated voice mails which i remember getting, and pamphlets, none that explicitly says that i will lose immediate access if i don't sign up. What does signing up entail, 2K/year plus whatever services she charges insurance. So pretty much, I have to pay 2K/year to keep my doctor as well as paying for her services. Not to mention that i'm about out of meds that they refuse to do anything about without me signing up. No temporary refill so i can find a new doctor. Their advice, go to an urgent care center. This is after 20+ years. This left me scrambling to find a new doctor. I had an appointment with her 3 1/2 months before in December and she made no mention of this to me in person. No one at the office said anything except the normal "see you next time". Little did i know at the time, there would be no "next time" I was a little surprised to actually see her, and not her nurse practitioner and I was also a little surprised that I noticed interactions that were reminiscent of how she was before. I guess she was practicing for her new practice. My wife warned me of this. They treated her badly, and she left them for another doctor a year earlier. What happened here? Well, we made an emergency appointment because my wife had a spot in her eye and she was a little concerned. She came in 5 minutes late. They make her pay and then refuse to see her because she was late. We had to go to the ER instead, and discovered she had an ocular stroke. This could have been found out earlier had we been seen, but we were forced to find other services after paying because they claimed we were too late. Prior to this, service was lacking as they constantly said the same thing to her without addressing her concerns. She told them she was in pain, and they did nothing. It was her going to another doctor where she actually got a diagnosis of her pain in about 2 weeks, but in the years she's gone to Dr. Menon, no one bothered.

Dr. DiFresco is a wonderful physician. She is sweet,…read morepersonable & has a caring bedside manner (a trait which sadly seems to be lacking amongst many physicians nowadays). I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room before being called back & she's very thorough in her exam (she doesn't try to rush you in & out like some medical cattle call). I was so pleasantly surprised by the fact that SHE actually returned my phone call, not a nurse or assistant - Dr. DiFresco herself (and she got back to me in 10 minutes!). No other physician has ever called me back themselves, let alone within minutes of calling. She's originally from the same neighborhood in Brooklyn that I'm from, so between her sweet, calming nature & her Brooklyn accent, I felt like I was right back home with my mom taking care of me again. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. DiFresco & I'm so grateful that I found her (for those interested, this is an all female practice).

Everything from scheduling the appointment, the friendliness of the staff, promptness, and overall professionalism is 5 out of 5 stars. If I could give an extra star for going above and beyond what other facilities do, I would. Before establishing care here, I lived by the UCLA Ronald Reagan Center which is one of the top-rated medical centers in the US. Having experienced their level of service which was great and comparing it to here- I would say here is the same level of quality but probably better if I'm being honest. Dr. Gibson's expertise in medicine is exceptional and what's noteworthy is his ability to explain seemingly complex topics in ways that are digestible and absorbed by you and me. I never feel rushed during an appointment and the doctor remembers everything I've told him which shows his attention to detail and his care for each patient. Sometimes I think it's easy to feel like you're just another patient at medical facilities but you won't experience that here. You'll be treated like the awesome human you are and realize this is how healthcare should be.
