Tried the mushroom pizza. I thought that the dough and pizza had a good taste. It wasn't my favorite Neapolitan ever, but the flavor was decent.

Such a good spot with a cozy atmosphere. I love the wood + fire pizza and tried the arancini last night that was good as well. Service has been good and friendly!

Best pizza, service and Italian ambiance in Massachusetts! Simple menu and bold flavors nostalgic of my childhood. I'd give more stars if I could. Disagree, great, more for me! Viva Napoli

Amazing servers. Love the peach ice tea. Would like the pizza a little less burned on bottom but overall flavor was good. Nice area with Shaws next door for parking.

Always reminds me of me trip to Italy when I smell a freshly opened Peroni.

Enjoyed a very tasty pizza meal on my birthday at Wood & Fire. Terrific food, nice ambiance and friendly fast service.

Really nice Neapolitan pizza spot in Melrose. Crust was a little floppy, especially for the namesake "Wood + Fire" pizza, which had a LOT of toppings. The flavors were solid though. The beer selection was just OK. The star of the meal for me was the meatballs. My family is from Avellino and these beef and pork meatballs brought me right back to my childhood. Maybe not everyone's taste, but the most authentic I've found anywhere. Truly perfect.

First time here. Walked in on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with no wait. Food and service were great and super affordable! Would highly recommend this spot and we plan on coming back to try their entree items

No need to travel to DT Eataly anymore. Here you get pizza that tastes equally amazing! I can't wait to get another one soon.

The rice balls are 10 dollars each! 2 inch in diameter and taste bland. Crazy crazy price for a small bland tasting ball of rice!

A lovely small Italian restaurant nestled in Melrose's downtown!…read more I met friends here for dinner for a Fundraiser for MAAV (Melrose Alliance Against Violence) and was so happy to see them participate in something like that! We ordered martinis from the celebrity bartender, mine a pumpkin martini, and then ordered food. I always try to order what a restaurant is known for so under "House Seafood Specialities", I went with the mussels and calamari over homemade fusilli 'Giacomo style' (lobster based red sauce with a touch of béchamel) absolutely delicious with a generous portion of seafood and pasta plus so reasonably priced at $25!! It was very loud so it was tough to catch up with friends but it made me so happy to see such a big turnout for such an important cause! We're already planning another dinner here soon!

We started with bruschetta. Maybe slice it into pieces? Nope. I'll just destroy it. Then I got the chicken Marsala. Flavorless. Boring. My kid got the chicken fingers. They were actually decent but I had to double check the menu to make sure she was supposed to get an ice cream for dessert. The waitress was happy to give us our check. When I asked to speak to a manager, he got super aggressive and stomped over angrily saying "I'm the manager ." we asked if we were supposed to get ice cream with our kid's chicken fingers. He said "take it up with your server." Thank you. You're a delight. We haven't seen our server since she gave us the check.

As someone who loves dining out--and who's Italian and has been fortunate enough to visit Italy…read moremany times--this was the meal of the year. I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

Don't believe the hype…read more The good: Service was very attentive and nice. The bad: everything we ordered needed salt (and there's no shaker on the table). Pasta arrived lukewarm. Short rib with risotto also not hot, and I suspect was microwaved after a service snafu. Social media will lead you to believe that all of the pasta is homemade, but notably only one option - the fettuccini - was marked as homemade on the menu.
