The sales representative did a good job helping me pick and custom order my style to match our ring and have it soldered to the existing wedding ring. The timing was a little weird as we had a big trip planned for our anniversary and I did not know if it would be done in time. However they were able to deliver. During the process the sales representative said they would appraise our new ring for free for insurance purposes. Also, we live about 1hr-90min away. I got a call that our ring was ready in about a week, which I thought was a fast turn around time. I brought my family out to pay for the ring and pick it up. However, only the band arrived, and the soldering work had not been completed, so we had to leave and come back yet again to pick it up when it was finished. Ruining my surprise a little. The soldering job could have been more professional in my opinion, but they did not charge much. Looks like something a novice could do in their craft room. I also never received my appraisal. When following up the rep said I would have to bring the ring in again to have it appraised, though it should have been done when the ring was completed. I just received an appraisal for the band I purchased via email. Since my review Davis Jewelers reached out to make things right. I was able to come back in with the ring. They had their Jeweler review their work and reshape and polish the wrinkled solder connection on the ring. They also made the appropriate appraisal, and assisted me a little extra to make things right, which I appreciate. As someone who owned his own business it was nice to see this business put in the effort to take care of their customers. Thank you again!
