He walks in whenever he wants because he knows he's the only hand specialist in Missouri, and doesn't care about your schedule or wellbeing at all. 2) In the process of checking to see if my finger was broken under the X-ray (it was), he manipulated it so much I SCREAMED in pain and I'm pretty confident he broke it some more than it already was. 3) Dealing with the surgery process with Dr Polenini was BEYOND RIDICULOUS! ......This was my first surgery EVER. I have anxiety, and at that moment getting prepped a 110 pulse... He didn't care.......I had friend waiting in the waiting room to hear from him after my surgery. He never came to see him..... The only time I saw him was 10 minutes before my surgery, to draw all over my finger and make me sign a paper. I tried to ask a couple questions and he talked down to me and would barely answer me. I woke up from the surgery, and he never came to tell me if he decided to put pins in my finger or not.....I didn't find out til 2 weeks later during my check up appointment.... when he took off my split, when I finally learned I had 3 pins sticking out of my finger, in which I proceeded to faint from (since I was never told what he did during surgery and was overwhelmed) 4) Last but not least, a year later I get a bill from his office that I owed $800 that they withheld to process through my insurance. Since I was already paying my deductible, I played phone tag with the office ladies for over 2 months to get an explanation. My insurance looked at their records and never even GOT a claim that would add to $800. No open claims, no closed claims, no nothing. When I FINALLY got a hold of the office ladies, they had sent this bill to collections without even talking to me first. They then told me they would send me in the mail proof of the claim sent to my insurance. Over a month later and NOTHING!!!! This place is ridiculous and the worst care I have ever received. If I wasn't only 23 that couldn't even afford a $800 bill. I would sue this place.

I needed a little appointment to investigate a meniscus tear. Two, actually, in the same knee. Both…read morelittle devils. The X-ray showed one torn. The MRI showed two torn. I thought this was duplicative until I saw the additional insight the MRI showed about the knee situation. Ridiculous pain. So I saw Dr. Rick Wright, orthopedic surgeon, on Monday (November 26) at this facility, which is a well-oiled machine, yet terribly personable folks working here. Today I had surgery. This place is amazing. Everybody who works here loves their job. You can tell by the way they treat their co-workers and their patients. Everything was smooth-running, including making arrangements for the cooling apparatus I needed for continual icing of the surgical site. And my sister, who accompanied me, was given a voucher for a free beverage at the coffee shop across the foyer. Debbie Reed, who checked me in; Joy, my nurse; Debbie Patterson, my intake nurse; Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Wolf, both anesthesiologists; Dr. Wright, who saw me before surgery and saw my sister after surgery; the surgical nurse who gave me happy juice and antinausea meds through the IV; the woman who helped me get dressed; the lovely man who took me out to the car and helped me in, who was so personable and friendly. I know I'm missing a bunch of folks. Please forgive me!! Everyone was fabulous and knew what they were doing. Everybody I saw introduced themselves and told me what they were there for and what they were doing the entire time. Knowledge is helpful, establishes expectations and incites calm! The nurse who gave me instructions about after-care about medications, icing, things to look for in the way of complications was so thorough -- even my sister was impressed, and she's a nurse. This place is up on a big hill, but patient parking is up-top on a flat surface, so don't be concerned you'll have to mountain climb to get to the front door. P.S. Dr. Wright is a knee specialist, and he's physician to The Blues and The Rams. I disguised myself as Lance Armstrong to get to see him. AHEM!!

On surgery day, things seemed well-organized and the vast majority of the staff were well-trained and did a great job at everything they did. The only reason I knocked them down a star is surgery day ended with a clunk. The nursing assistant who pulled my IV had no clue what he was doing and ended up blowing my vein wide open. Dude, when you pull an I.V., you must be patient and hold pressure for at least a couple of minutes. Also, when he wheeled me out to the car, it was clear he just wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible and didn't really care if he did it safely. So overall, I would recommend this place. High marks for Dr. Keener. The anesthesiology staff were great as was most of the nursing staff.

I feel I shouldn't have wait at a doctor's office more than 15 minutes when I have an appointment…read more At Dr. Kazdan's office, I usually wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting and at least another 15 minutes in the exam room before being seen. I know doctors are busy but so am I. What really burns my ass is they want you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. Screw that! I not waiting an hour to be seen. On my most recent visit, I waited 40 minutes past my appointment in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes in the exam room. While I really like Dr. Kazdan as a physician, the wait time is unacceptable. If this continues I'll have to start looking for a new internist.

It was a combination of allergy issues and working in a new office with all kinds of new germs. Regardless, Dr. Wilcox helped me out each time. Not only does he just prescribe meds, but he explains the root of your illness so you know what's going on. If necessary, he'll even draw you pictures :) Since I've gotten used to city life and am taking better care of myself as I get older, I don't need to see Dr. Wilcox as much as I used to. But if/when I do get sick (knock on wood!), I would be happy to go back and pay him a visit. Crossing my fingers that it's minor and not swine flu related.

My 96 yr old grandmother fell and broke her hip. Dr. Fox gave her replacement surgery.
