Weird bite mark on inner thigh
    Dash H.

Stay away. First time staying here, as i first walked in, the front desk person was on his phone. Then he asked me something bout a tour room. I was too tired to ask what the hell he was talking bout so i kept saying no. Like listen guy, ive had 3 hours sleep, had a long flight delays after cancellation after delays. I just want my room that i booked and already paid for. He was very slow with checking me in. Forgot to give me back my ID , and for this run down hotel to be charging $75 a night plus $150 incidental fees... its not worth it . I walked to my room and it was very small and smelly. The bathroom was dirty. Bathtub looks like someone just stomped in mud and havent washed off completely. The fridge was incredibly small, i mean itll fit like 4 bottles of water, and froze my damn mango. I hop on the bed, only to be bitten and find bite marks of some sort after laying in it for a couple hours. I booked a 3 days stay and im already done with the first 3 hours here. Debating on if Expedia will give my money back for this horrible hotel. Lord.

    Ugly sign, nice stay.

Oh man guys. So you're looking for a place to stay near Pearson International Airport? Look no further. The Woodbine Hotel & Suites- emphasis on the Suites- is really quite good. I sound like I'm being a smart ass, but I really mean it. How did I end up here? Well, a long lost friend came to town to snuggle and make me laugh, and we decided a hotel was in order and we rolled the dice near the airport. I'm so glad we did. The sign outside is hideous, and does not do this place justice. The rooms themselves are just as nice as any Delta I've ever been in. They all have a little fridge and a microwave and a well equipped 4 piece bathroom. The decor is minimalist, the flat screen is mounted and the wifi is really fast. PEPPER PROPS: To Hotwire, for getting us this sweet room for under $50/night. Fitty dolla holla! PEPPER'S PISSED: Why does the window in our room look into a conference room and into other rooms? Blackout curtain time.

This banquet Hall is older and has been their for ages. looks like they have upgraded inside but the outer look is the same. The lights and and chandlers style are quite different from all the other convention centers I have been to and it was older style and elegant but with a beautiful twist (check the pic). The halls are decent size, their is plenty of parking and the lobby was quite small. They had stairs coming in a round way from where the bride and grooms rooms are and they had a fire place in the middle. Nothing too exciting in the hall ways and the food was served inside the hallway and appetizer in the hall. The food was quite good and I liked pretty much all the dishes in the buffet. The servers were good and friendly. The plus point with this location is that its has a hotel on the spot and is not that expensive for a room as well. I saw a sign $89.95+tax for a night. Over all a good decent hall.

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. My family and I stopped by this hotel because we were on our way to London and thought this would be a good place to rest before we drove over. My sister and I stayed in room 115 while my dad stayed in 113. We stayed for one night, and left in a hurry the next morning to start driving. An hour after we left, my sister and I slowly discovered we were absolutely covered, head to toe in BED BUG BITES. Bright red, and incredibly itchy bites. We were busy moving, so I called the hotel a few days later to complain. By the time I called, the bites were red and oozing. The hotel told me they could do nothing because there were now people staying in the rooms (you'd think they'd wanna move those people into a different room!!!!!!) and told me to contact Expedia for a refund. So I called Expedia, and they said because I only mentioned one of the rooms under our reservation during my call with the hotel, the hotel was only willing to refund us 20 percent of ONE ROOM. Absolutely ridiculous. Attached are some photos of said bites, and this is after healing for 3 days. Avoid this place. Even if the whole place isn't infested, it's not a risk worth taking. Toronto public health will be hearing from me soon also. Imagine if children or seniors stayed at this hotel and suffered the same. Edit: the bites ended up getting worse and worse until I eventually went to go see a doctor. The doctor said the bugs likely carried some sort of infection and I was on antibiotics for two weeks. My medical costs have now exceeded the cost of the stay. My skin has still not recovered, and I may have some of these marks for the rest of my life. I am genuinely contemplating taking legal action, but for now I'll just say: do not stay here under any circumstance.

Single bed room is just a joke, never booking it. For me? This is my last time here.

Roger's Stadium (Blue Jays), CN Tower and convention center were all in walking distance. I actually arrived early but my status was recognized and my room was ready. Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

They especially enjoyed looking out the large window at the convention center, CN Tower and Lake Ontario. It was also nice having the extra (1.5) bathroom. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on and the housekeeping staff was almost invisible (a good thing). Since we got club level, it was convenient to grab food and snacks in the club lounge. Quite kid friendly, although with toddlers we were a bit self-conscious of our kids being too loud and messy. You can imagine my terror when my 18 month old threw a cup of milk on the lounge carpet. Luckily, the lounge staff is wonderful and welcoming and were very understanding of this mishap. The pool is very nice and heated. A little less picturesque than the St. Regis pool (which is located on a high floor) and smaller than the Shangri-La pool but still very nice. There are other amenities that are good for kids such as a free treasure hunt, complete with a prize at the end. Ritz Kids also has other paid activities that we did not do like baking classes, in-room camping, movie nights and family picnics. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, train museum and Rogers Centre. Most of these venues are within 10 minutes walking distance. I think it is also near the underground PATH, that connects many of Toronto's downtown buildings so you can avoid walking outside if so desired. Overall a great luxurious and family friendly hotel in downtown Toronto. Great for families visiting harborfront, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium or Rogers Center. My only minor gripe is that the lobby is not particularly impressive.

The hotel itself has Amazing customer service, great amenities, and an Amazing soft bed which I was looking forward too. Issue: The game was at 3pm and it is currently midnight as I write this review. The stadium lights are still on and shinning brightly through. Before booking, I looked up reddits and different posts that said 11pm is when the lights normally turn off. But at 11pm the stadium turned on either a loud vacuum or fan of some sort (and it has been on for the past hour).(( UPDATE: turns out it's Leaf blowers. TONs of employees using leaf blowers throughout the stadium to remove trash.)) (((2nd noise update: 330am-7am more loud machines, they are now power washing the seats/floors throughout the stadium, plus noise from employees chatting while working)). The hotel should at least provide some transpency and warn guests about the field doing maintenance because I would have rather saved a thousand+ dollars by just going to the game itself and picking a different room knowing we'd be getting a get a good night's rest. Maybe the hotel could provide sleeping masks since they cannot install decent floor to ceiling blackout curtains. Or how about providing earplugs? Either way... started off at 3 stars. now at 1 star experience. So if you or your toddlers are light sleepers this room is not for you. Also this room includes 2 high stools which i used to prop up against the bed for my wiggling sleeping toddler to not fall off as neither beds are near a wall.
