I have lived at this apartment complex for 8 years, and while there are some positives, my overall experience has been frustrating. First and foremost, the AC issue in my unit (Apartment 1050) was never properly addressed. The bedroom AC was problematic from day one, with air leaking through the window and ducts not properly routed. As a result, the room would be 15-20° colder or hotter than the rest of the apartment, depending on the season. The only "solution" the management offered was to keep the door open--an impractical and inadequate fix. As a result, I had to keep the AC on full blast, leading to an electric bill approaching $300 during the summer for a 988 sq. ft. unit. When it came time for me to renew my lease, I requested that they either replace the window, reseal it, or correct the ductwork. They said they would reseal it, but when the maintenance team came out, they claimed they couldn't do anything, despite not taking the time to assess the window properly. Once again, their response was to "keep the door open," which is simply not a viable option. After requesting follow-up service six days ago, I'm still waiting for a response, as they have ignored both my calls and emails. On top of the AC issues, the amenities were underwhelming. The pools were frequently out of service, and while I can't say whether they will be fixed this summer, the last two years were disappointing. The property also claims to be smoke-free, but despite rules against smoking in common areas, enforcement is lacking. Smoking still occurs, especially in the pool area, and when reported, management states that the pool is not considered a common area for smoking. There are also recurring hot water issues due to boiler repairs. Additionally, maintenance of the grounds has become spotty. The once-daily dog waste patrol has become a weekly occurrence, if that, leaving pet waste scattered around the complex. This is a problem if you're walking outside, so be cautious! While there are some positive aspects, such as free pies at Thanksgiving and a nice but small fitness center, parking is a constant issue, especially in building 2702. People struggle with parallel parking, and available spots are frequently taken up by those who don't use their assigned covered spots. If you're on the first floor, be prepared for noise--particularly from neighbors in the unit above you, as the building's soundproofing is not great and you will here EVERYTHING, especially those adult bedroom noises! Communication with the office is very poor. Despite multiple emails, I found that in order to get anything done, I had to physically go into the office, which is hard to do if you work the same hours the office is open. Pest control is offered weekly, but it requires scheduling--it's not a routine service that happens automatically. Furthermore, decorations are highly restricted; the only acceptable decoration is a wreath on the front door, which makes the place feel more like a transient space than a home. Would I recommend this apartment complex? Unfortunately, no. While it's not the worst place to live, the management's inability to properly address maintenance issues, coupled with poor communication, makes it difficult to recommend. Would I move here again? Absolutely not. After living here for years, my experience left much to be desired. read more

I cannot in good conscience recommend this apartment community. The age of the homes, the quality of the service, and the quality of the homes does not equal what we are paying in rent here. This property is a high C in the scaling of property management. There is a consistent change in staff that makes living here very difficult. Work orders do not get taken care of in a timely manner, and water is regularly turned off with no warning. The Laundry Center is closed almost always, and I have not had a working AC in the 2 years I have been here. Parking fills up quickly, and if your covered parking space is not near your home, you are SOL for a long walk. The pool behind the office is closed more often than not. The fitness center is a joke. I had a minor roach problem when I initially moved in that was not addressed appropriately until I took action and began treating my home myself. My electric bill for a One Bedroom was on average around $300. We recently discovered my AC issue was due to the exterior units being mislabelled - meaning maintenance was working on another unit this entire time. Now management (ARIANA & CHRISTINA) is claiming it was not mislabelled, or that someone they recently let go intentionally swapped the labels to create issues for the residents. Management also claims that there are not very many AC work orders on my end, but this is due to a recently system change from whatever we were using before to Yardi/Entrata. The only way we could submit work orders previously was via phone or email, so often issues would go unanswered. The maintenance team and office team will both point fingers at one another in blame for anything going wrong, but will never do anything to make things right. If you schedule an appointment to have something taken care of, 9 times out of 10 they do not show up. The only person in the office that is even REMOTELY helpful is Constance. She's the only person who responds to my emails, or answers the phones in general. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. read more

Nice picture but where is that?? Sadly, I would not recommend living at Woodbridge. I have lived here for 6.5 years and have dealt with lack of hot water for 1.5 years in the shower and bathroom sink. Now, the compressor on the air conditioner is out and my home is 88° tonight. Yes they put in some type of fan that is blowing cold air in the bedroom, but the apartment home as a whole is steaming. Manager is extremely difficult to work with. Maintenance has their hands full with keeping up with an overload of issues. FDC Management clearly does not care about residence. I am paying $1435 a month for a 716 square apartment. With all the above listed things, they will not let me out of my lease although Section 15.1 clearly states that they should. I have never experienced anything like this in over 40 years in Apts. Very disappointing. I enjoyed living here until the last 1.5 years. Recommend Avoiding this property. read more

Woodbridge Apartments - Apartment AC unit is out. Temperature in my apartment! - Apartments Near Me - Bedford, Texas

Had to edit my original review, and unfortunately it's keeps going down. My wife and I have lived here since February of 2022. The first year we moved in everything was great. But it's been very downhill since then. The office has 2-4 employees at a time with a very high turnover rate, and same with the maintenance. Not sure if this is why, but there is piss poor communication between anyone that works here. They also don't communicate with us tenets, until after the fact. I've gotten emails saying hot water will be turn off, 30 mins after they have already turned it off, and get no eta on when it'll be back on. And the after hours number that you get transferred to when they don't answer the phone or after office hours is a joke. They don't take you seriously and I've tried to make multiple maintenance request from them and will check with the office the following day and they have no clue about the call. We have 2 dogs and pay our pet fee for both every month, but we constantly run out of doggie bags at the pet stations. Once they run out (and i do call and tell the office the first day i see no bags), they are empty for weeks at a time, forcing us to wonder the property to find another station and hope it's not empty also. Currently the pet station next to our building has been out for a month, and 5 other stations I've been pulling from are also now empty. I walked to the office today for them to tell me they just ordered more bags yesterday. The pools will be clean for a couple of weeks then they let them go. It takes them a couple weeks to get them back and repeat. The laundry room on site is a joke. Machines take you money and don't start about 1/4 of the time (then have to wait for days for refunds). The floors flood and have standing water about every other or evry third time we go to do laundry. We also had an experience where the office gave keys to our unit to a pest control person and sent him to our unit to spray. Luckily we had our deadbolt locked bc he tried to walk in with no warning. I was not happy and he told me the office gave him the key and told him we had called and asked for service, which we haven't needed or asked for since we moved in. If he would've made it into our unit, a lawyer would've been contacted. That's a MAJOR safety issue and NOT to be taken lightly. The office said maybe someone else called and gave the wrong unit number. I'm sure they wouldn't like if I sent a stranger to their house with a key. We have also recently had several good neighbors who have lived here for 5+ and even 10+ years moving out, due to the lack of concern and caring from the staff. They always shrug you off like it's no big deal, no matter what's going on. The lawn care people will blow leaves and debris under and over patio fence. I've tried speaking with their employees as well as asking the complex to speak with them. No change, I just sweep up behind them EVERY week. This used to be our sanctuary after a long day, but it's fastly becoming the opposite. I get that no matter where you are there will be issues, but a sense of concern and empathy goes a long way with me. If you show you care and work to resolve any issue, I'm a very patient man. But when I give my hard earned money to you every month and on time, I expect you to do your job like I have to to get that money. Have some pride in what you do or find a new job please. We love the area and don't want to move, but if this keeps up, we may not be able to mentally stay here another lease. I have a hard time relaxing when there is so much stress in trying to get simple things taken care of. read more

Please save yourself the trouble, do NOT rent these apartments. It's an endless nightmare. I don't even know where to begin...but let's start with how they will tow their RESIDENTS vehicles if their registration sticker is out...the residents who PAY for those parking spots. In the winter you'll freeze to death because the ac/heating unit is so old they barely even turn on, and the maintenance men they have working have literally no clue what they are doing, they are the type to slap a bandaid on a massive leak and call it a day. Let's not forget the time I was about to take a shower and a maintenance man just unlocked my door and walked in...without knocking!! He lied of course and said that he did but my dog would have barked. The air vents are completely filled and covered with mold, and their way of fixing that is to just spray over it with more paint...lawsuit. There is always something breaking, or a pipe busting. The apartment manager is a massive hag, she is extremely rude to residents. So if you want to live in a dangerous for your health apartment then this is the one for you. The absolute worst place to live. Seems like every other day the water is not working or there is no hot water or there is a problem with bugs. Please do not move here. Every fucking day is another issue. This place needs to be shut down. We deserve money back on our rent for having to deal with so many problems. read more

Meh. Pros: - Our large dog could live with us. No weight/breed restrictions here. This is the main reason we moved here. - Friendly quiet neighbors. Mostly young families and older folks. I never felt unsafe in/around my apartment. - Reserved parking spot for one vehicle and enough general parking for the rest. - No forced valet trash/internet. The dumpster was close by and always clean. - Clean grounds. Maintenance did a good job of maintaining the grounds. I rarely saw dog poop or trash. Cons: - Older apartments with extremely old appliances. They still worked, but they were ugly as sin! - The first year we moved in (under the old management), it seemed like they found every reason to come into our apartment to inspect something. There was even an inspection to "check" the condition of the apartment to make sure we were keeping it clean and not putting holes in the wall. This was bizarre and a little off-putting. - Single pane windows made it difficult to keep the apartment at a decent temperature. When it was hot, it was HOT. When it was bitterly cold, it was bitterly cold. The poor insulation/windows made our electric bill double what we were used to paying. There is no reason for electricity to be almost $200 for a less than 700 sq ft apartment! - Crappy A/C that emitted a cheesy smell. - The move-out process was a pain. We had to break our lease earlier than planned due to an out-of-state job offer. We talked to all 3 ladies who were in the office on separate occasions and got 3 varying answers on what we would need to do to not have our credit ruined and a broken lease on our records. It was literally like goldilocks and the three bears. The leasing agent told my husband that we would just need to pay a fee and we'd be good to go. The head manager told me that we would be responsible for paying for the paint, new carpet, and any repairs since we were leaving earlier than they had planned as well as a fee + 2 months of rent. She also told me that this may end up on my credit depending on what option we chose. This was a shock to hear because none of this had been mentioned to my husband. It felt like we were being punished for leaving early (and they were also trying to milk us for every penny they could). The fear-mongering was extremely unnecessary and left a bad taste in my mouth. Bryza, the leasing manager, gave us the most sensible and fair explanation, so we followed her instructions. We paid a reletting fee (the equivalent of 2 months rent) gave 60-day notice (and pay rent for those 2 months) and would be responsible for any necessary repairs based on how bad or old the effected item were (major paint jobs/patching, replacement of carpet if needed, etc.) and what was not covered by our deposit. A sad end to what had been an okay experience for the first year before the management change. read more

I lived there for 5 years and moved out 2 years ago. I tried to work with management before moving out, but they refused to look at the apartment until i moved out. They then ordered for repairs and tried to charge me way above the cost of the repairs with out providing an itemized bill. I told them I would pay for $600 over what I figured the cost to be, but they didn't reply. 2 years later they sent me a new bill, so I coming back out to the world to tell you all that they are horrible landlords who scam previous tenants. The staff have been great so far! Any issues I have had since moving have been addressed promptly and with professionalism! The grounds are always kept nice and great to know they care about the outside as well as inside! For an older Proprty I would highly recommend this place! There are great things about living here for sure, I won't deny. There are also some drawbacks I've noticed. -Water has some issues. Either long periods of time w/o it, or no hot water. Fairly frequently occurring problem. -No rhyme or reason for the lack of carports. Some have theirs right across from their apartments. Persons living and working here included. Others have to walk pretty far to access theirs. Whenever I ask for a closer one, they always say they're all taken up, but I've seen empty ones in the same location forever. OK but when I KNOW there are recently emptied apartments, and I ask to change, I get the same response. It's almost gives the appearance they don't want to take the effort to simply make the switch. -Sometimes, the front office folks cop attitudes for no reason. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Management changes so often, I have only been here a few months and management will do ANYTHING to get out of having to fix any problem you have. They will say and do anything to blame you for whatever problem you have and go out of their way to avoid the problem. They blamed me for a flea problem when I do not even have pets saying that I must have brought it in on my clothes therefore I will have to pay for the exterminator. I am 4 weeks away from delivery and the management does not care. The only option they have given me is to spray more and have me pay for it. They will not even move me into another apartment or let me out of my lease. These ladies are rude and will do anything not to be held liable for any problem. I cannot even live in my own apartment because of flea bites and infection due to bites yet I am expected to still pay rent and they won't let me out of my lease even though it is uninhabitable! WORST decision I have ever made to move here. Appliances are so old and dirty, ac leaks, dishwasher was not even screwed into place so it falls into the floor every time you use it. Every time I call these ladies just argue with me and are so rude! DO NOT MOVE HERE! Management does not care about you or the problems in your apartment. It is NOT worth nearly the amount of rent. read more

This place is horrible!! No one in this company does their job or takes responsibility for their mistakes!! When you put in a maintenance order who knows if they actually put it in so you have to stay on top of it and don't be surprised if they say they have no record of an order being put in for it!!! You could end up living with a leaking dishwasher and soggy floor for weeks!! Then when it comes time to put in your 60 days notice to leave and you go to the office and notify them that you aren't renewing your lease they may just feel like not working that day and so even though you did what you were supposed to you are stuck there for as long as they decide to keep you paying a higher rate now since you are out of contract!!! Forget calling the owners because no matter who you talk to they say "well there is nothing we can do" Don't get stuck living in this dump!!! Don't rent from them!!! read more

Relocated from Denver, CO to Bedford, TX! Woodbridge made it an easy transition. They called to check up on us while we were still in Denver and once we arrived they had everything ready to go. Staff is all AWESOME- nice and very helpful. Maintenance is SUPER fast getting things fixed if its needed. Super nice- friendly, quite, family neighborhood. Two pools to choose from that are always clean and nicely maintained. Great gym. They host awesome events for kids and family (my kids loved the movie night in the pool). Highly recommend. And best of all they are a breed-friendly apartment, we have a 7month old American Terrier. Tons of green open grass for her to walk on and everyone is pretty good about picking up their dogs waste so it stays clean... read more

I have lived in the Woodbridge Apartments for 5 years. I love my place and the staff. Friday, it's always Friday, my air conditioner was dying and we had a weekend of 98+ degrees coming. Shannon, our Manager, sent over a huge, free standing air conditioning unit to make sure I would be comfortable over the weekend until they could address fixing the air conditioner.
