I live in Stockton and surprisingly there are not many florist to choose from. I was searching for a funeral arrangement and went to Yelp to see who was available and Woodbridge Florist was a very good choice. It was on a Sunday, the store was closed but the online ordering was available and I looked at their selections. They had a good selection but I choose the "Florist choice" which actually did not have a picture but I assumed it would be a better choice than the arrangements that were offered and also, when you give a florist free range to do something, it usually turns out better. I called to verify the order on Monday and was assured the flowers would be at the cemetery and time I listed. Unfortunately they could not send me a picture of the arrangement, but I was going to attend, so I would see it there. It was a beautiful arrangement with white and lavender flowers and very befitting for our friend who passed. I was very pleased of the size arrangement too. We have had to use Woodbridge Florist twice over the last couple years, first for my grandpa's funeral and again recently for my grandma's funeral. The flowers for my grandpa's funeral turned out better than we could imagine, so we came back for my grandma's. The person working put on a mask when he saw us come in with masks on, allowed us to browse through options while listening a bit to our conversations, and asked if we would like specific flowers that we had mentioned added to the arrangements we selected. Great florist! They did my bouquet, boutonnieres and corsages for my wedding. I had never been in before I decided, I wanted them to do my wedding bouquet. I went off of the yelp reviews and the amazing foliage that engulfs the front entrance way to the store. I believe there are two owners, but I only worked with Charles, who ended up nailing it. They recommended that I send some pictures of bouquets I had saved to my wedding board on Pinterest. I sent my three favorite pictures and told Charles through email and one shop visit, what I wanted. I did have to substitute some flowers, because I didn't realize that I can only get what is in season/bloom. Once I accepted the order and the price, I paid in full. I think you can do a deposit, but I trusted them. On the day of my wedding I picked up my order and immediately fell in love. It was as if Charles read my mind, the bouts and corsages were gorgeous, but my bouquet was epic. I teared up, I was so happy and couldn't have been more pleased. I got so many compliments on the bouquet and continue to get compliments from friends and co-workers when I show them pictures, typically I hear "That bouquet Is gorgeous. It is the prettiest bouquet I've ever seen. They did a great job." I was honestly in love with my bouquet and would have married it instead of my husband, if I could. After the wedding, I cleaned out my fridge and put my bouquet in it for up to 4 weeks. I refused to throw it out until my husband told me it smelled, and we needed the space for groceries. I paid $101.00 including delivery and asked for specific flowers which the person at Woodbridge said they would gladly accommodate for the price I paid. Several flower species were not include, and what I asked for was included at 1/2 the agreed upon species and as 1-2 stems each only. The arrangement was mostly greenery. This was a sympathy arrangement, and I am from out of town. They probably expected I would never see the arrangement! I always try to use a local florist to support local businesse. I'm in the flower biz, so I know my stuff. The conversation for this 'Christmas Season' birthday bouquet was 'bright and cheery' using Christmas greens and such to make it holiday and birthday festive. What I got was a 'Thanksgiving' fall color bouquet two weeks post Thanksgiving. Right down to every flower being fall colors and a golden bow. What's worse when calling and talking to the Owner Chuck, he argued with me that the bouquet was perfectly fine and he made it himself, no acknowledgement of my disappointment or the fact that both of us knew he was just cleaning out his stock and inventory of Fall Colored flowers at my expense, because his employee was not specific with my request. No attempt to make it right or offer any recourse. See Photos of what I expected and what I got. Terrible customer service and acknowledgement that the customer is always right. I've used Village Florist in Lodi before, they were awesome, Woodbridge florist, not so much, and the owner Chuck would rather defend his poor design choice and selfish motivation to move out left over seasonal colors than acknowledge that the customer is always right and do something to make it right, at a minimum apologize vs. argue with the customers. Terrible. And you sir: should honor your own words in a reply below : certainly no refund or replacement offered today when I expressed my disappointment, you simply told me you were right, the product was fine and I was wrong. Super unaccommodating and got me nowhere. I went in twice. Once by myself just to get an idea of price, walked in, i was ignored for awhile and then she reluctantly came out finally and said just email pics and she'll get back to me. Asked if i could bring my own flowers (to help with budget) and she said no. 2nd time i went in, i had an idea of what i really wanted and she said she couldn't do it because all the flowers are out of season, and will still be at the time of wedding. I asked the shop owner repeatedly, several times, in several different ways, if there was absolutely anyway she could make anything like the bouquet I wanted, even if we changed some things. She said no, find something else. My mother in law asked if we brought in the flowers, if she could put them in the bouquet for us and she said yes. (Changed her answer for my mother in law) Village flowers said they could make my bouquet but it would be $250 and I was looking for something a little less expensive so i just figured I would try out Woodbridge but that for me nowhere. It's understandable now that they would charge so much if they are out of season. But at least they would be able to do it. SOLUTION: i went to a whole sale market with my friend, found all of the flowers I wanted and more, made my bouquet myself. I know nothing about flowers and that I'm a complete amateur with flowers, but I made my own bouquet when Woodbridge flowers couldn't. I am not a picky bride, our wedding is super low maintenance, this bouquet was the one thing I was sure I wanted, and she shot me down completely. read more

Woodbridge Florist went above and beyond what I was looking for. This is the second bouquet I purchased for my mom on Mother's day. The first one was from a different well know florist in the area. When my mom received the first bouquet she showed me a picture and it looked terrible. I mean Costco has better bouquets then that. And for the amount I paid, I was extremely disappointed. My mother loves flowers, and I wanted her to have something nice. Not something my 3 year old nephew could pick out of her front yard. I contacted the other florist company, and he said sorry that's all they had, and they used substitutions(clearly terrible ones). I resent him a photo of what my mom received and what was shown on his website and it was like night and day. So then I starting looking again for something better. On the day of my wedding, I had a crisis. My florist who was my wedding planner had her hands full. She was unable to make my flower crown the way I wanted.
