Besides the free comic book, the owner has booked a Smash Bros truck, a smashed burgers truck. We tried it, and the burgers were good!! A bit pricey ( 1$ extra for one slice of tomato and 1$ extra for some shredded lettuce ) but they were good! And somebody was selling coffee too. We sat in the car to enjoy our lunch, then went back to the store for more bargains. The bookstore has some outside vendors too. I bought a drawn book for my granddaughter, and they were some lovely bookmarks too. I bought some 3D printed Pokemon toys last year, but I was disappointed that vendor didn't come back. Me and my fighter was walking around the front display looking and the guy working there still says nothing. Not sure how much the cards are if any as the guy was not very attentive or was mute lol. Definitely one and done this is the second shop in the area I've been to that is horrible on this side. I'd go else where or drive further to other places for more options.

Comics, Collectibles, Pugs, and the Coolest Bathroom…read more What a great little comic book shop. The owner was incredibly friendly, the store was spotless, and there was so much to look at. They have a huge selection of comic books, collectibles, artwork, and fun memorabilia throughout the shop. One of my favorite parts was meeting the two adorable, well-behaved pugs who were happily hanging around the store. They definitely add to the welcoming atmosphere. The walls are covered with interesting art and displays, making the entire shop feel unique and full of personality. Everywhere you look there's something fun, quirky, or nostalgic to check out. And I have to give a special shoutout to the bathroom. I don't think I've ever mentioned a comic shop bathroom in a review before, but this one was awesome. The walls were hand-painted with beautiful koi fish artwork and even included information about the artist. It felt more like a little art exhibit than a restroom. As the wife who isn't really into comic books, I also appreciated that there was a comfortable, clean waiting area where I could relax while my husband browsed. That's a small detail, but it made the experience much more enjoyable for me. Between the friendly owner, the adorable pugs, the creative artwork, the welcoming atmosphere, and the massive selection of comics and collectibles, this place is a gem. Whether you're a serious collector, a casual fan, or just tagging along with one, it's absolutely worth stopping by.

Met Kevin, the Owner, who's been in business since the heyday of collecting in the 80's. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and didn't mind taking time to answer questions, which I had plenty of since the collecting industry had changed so much since I stopped. Over the next 3 years I bought numerous hobby products from Kevin. When COVID hit in 2020, the industry went crazy and caused prices to skyrocket. Kevin remained true and offered prices well below what he could of asked for at the time. I asked him about it and he told me he'd seen numerous highs and lows in the industry, and he wanted to take care of his loyal customers who would always come back. I have a great deal of respect for Kevin, and while I have stopped collecting new cards (I just purchase vintage), I still stop by from time-to-time to say hello. He no longer sells sports cards because the distributors got too greedy, and he didn't want to pass those excessive costs to his customers. He still sells comics though, and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with anyone who stops by. It's a small shop and if he doesn't have something you're looking for, he has years of connections and will either find a way to get it or point you in the right direction. If you're in the area, stop on by and take a look. You'll feel welcomed and want to come back. Not enough places like this anymore.
