I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Woodbridge Terrace. My mom absolutely loves it there. She's made so many new friends and there's so many great activities that I can hardly get a time to see her. She's so busy. The care and compassion is unrivaled and she feels very well taken care of by everybody. I can't believe how attentive and carrying the staff are. The facility is great. Primarily because of the staff: Christian, Kara, Daisy, Rose, Ana, Faust, Sammy... from the executive director to health care workers to kitchen staff - all outstanding. Thorough, kind, friendly, professional. My mom was there for a month because of a back injury. WT is, first of all, clean. They have a variety of entertainment and things to do. Extra fun on special days (Cinco de Mayo, Derby Day). And delicious food in the dining room and bistro. They took very good care of her which, I'm sure, expedited her healing. She is well and home now. If and when the time comes she is in need of assisted living we wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Woodbridge Terrace and the staff here have been an absolute Godsend to our family. My 91 year old dad has been here since early April and if not for Rose, Jackie and so many other caring employees here, we would have been lost. The time they have spent helping my dad to adjust to his new living situation has been amazing. I will never be able to thank them enough. OMG The current staff at Woodbridge Terrace go all out to plan and prepare multiple fabulous events for the residents. I just finished hearing from my 98 year old mother about the phenomenal tea time given. My mother so appreciated all of the fine details -lace gloves and little hats for each attendee, a harpist, little tea sandwiches and real tea time cups, and of course fresh flowers, and a tea pouring staff. Having a director that recognizes and supports the amazing activities staff is a "win" for the residents. Watching all of the support staff take part in these fun events makes is feel like a family. I had the chance to work at this community and found it to be one of the most beautiful properties to work in. I don't work here anymore, but I know the staff here have amazing heart that are full of passion. The property has gone under renovations so it looks newer and all the apartments have been renovated. We visited a number of assisted-living homes for my aging friend. One of the strong selling points for us to finally choose Woodbridge Assisted Living Terrace is its state-of-the-art dining hall. First of all, the menu has a wide variety and the food is well prepared and fresh. The waiters are very friendly and get to know your taste and food preferences quickly. The ambience in the dining hall is always warm and homy. Most of all, Chef Ivan Rodriguez is always coming up with new ideas and willing to try new things. We moved my parents from their house in December of 2020. Meanwhile, Woodbridge Terrace has transitioned ownership from Aria to Kisco. Kisco has made upgrades that have been beneficial to both residents and families, therefore we have been very pleased. Chef Adrian's menus are always delicious and very diverse. A must mention is that Chef Adrian has an organic vegetable and herb garden on the grounds. Restaurant Manager Robert will go above and beyond to assist everyone's needs - especially my difficult step-dad. Candice and her team's activities planning and execution are always a grand slam! I can not give enough positive accolades to Andy who has taken my step-dad under his wing - coaxing him everyday to join in activities. Lastly, the front desk staff is always helpful with any request you may have, no matter how small. My precious mother is bedridden and it was very difficult to make the choice to move her from 24/7 Caregivers at home to Woodbridge where the care is periodical. To be honest, we have a private Caregiver 6 hours, 5 days a week. The Caregiving staff at Woodbridge is warm and caring and I wish we lived closer so I could get to know them better, but the few I know (Rita) are absolutely delightful. read more

Caring staff! My grandpa lives in the memory care area. The staff are so loving towards him and care for him as if they are a part of our family. You can tell they truly care for him and he loves them back! The smile he gives them when they enter into his room to help him speaks volumes! I've been impressed with the quality of service and the great level of communication with families since Kisco took over this facility. The staff is kind and loving, and their social coordinator shows real concern for my mother. They're generally very responsive, and the weekly communications via Zoom and emails is very helpful. Concerns seem to be addressed quickly. The social distancing and cleaning operations during the pandemic worked well to contain the virus and prevent my mom and other residents from becoming infected. After getting vaccinated, I just regained access to the inside of the building, so I'm not able to review the indoors facilities, but mom reports that the new dining room is lovely. She says there have been some waiting time issues and delays in service at dinner, but things have improved lately. I hope they increase easy-to-access outdoor meeting areas for families, with more tables and seating. Additional seating outdoors will allow unvaccinated family members to spend time with loved ones. I'm sure it's an issue that will be addressed soon with all the remodeling work going on now. All in all, our family is happy with the service and lovely facilities at Woodbridge Terrace. read more

Where do we begin Woodbridge Terrace owned by Kisco is hands down the best senior living around this area. I would recommend scheduling a tour to see how wonderful this location. Mom being 90 is very active physically but needing more help now with bit of care was looking for a place close to where she has called home almost 40 yrs. The previous owner was just not satisfactory and we were not considering this property, but learning Kisco purchased we did lots of research. Mom was able to make her final choice that Woodbridge Terrace was the perfect fit for her lifestyle and a place that treats everyone like family. Residents have truly resort style living and are respected and listened too. They have such freedom. My mom enjoys lots of the active things like nature walks and outdoors but has branched out to try things like art, history club and spanish class. The live music almost every week and great food has been added plus. Also she has been able to keep her love of community volunteering because the entire team at WT listen to what residents want to do or try. The executive management is very proactive and transparent to keep family and residents informed each week but also the residents have their own council to surface ideas and areas of improvement. The medical staff are angels, so patient and knower and always adding services if a resident needs it. WT is unlike anything you will find around this area because they care about making the property first class completely updating and upgrading the entire property, but most importantly they break the sterotype of what it means to be a senior. At Woodbridge Terrace they know your name, they listen and truly care for everyone. We are so thankful Kisco came to Irvine, they are making a difference in so many peoples lives. I don't know why it's taken me so long to write this review because I can't say enough positive things about Woodbridge Terrace. My sister has lived here for about 2 years and we could not be happier. As a retired nurse, I know how difficult it can be to maintain the level of caring displayed by everyone who works at this beautiful "home away from home". The building and lovely grounds are extremely well maintained, all the services are expertly managed, and Kisco goes out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere to residents and families. My sister lived in the same home for over 50 years and she has found a new family among the residents who are as kind, caring and fun as the staff. My sister's personal challenges have always been handled with professionalism and loving care. I know I speak for our entire family when I say we are eternally grateful to have found this truly special place for my sister to live. read more

This review is long overdue. I am a physical therapist. I have been working with patients all over coastal orange county for the past 17 years. I have been in many assisted living facilities. Of all the facilities I have been in, only a handful stick out as top notch, 5 star facilities. Woodbridge Terrace is definitely one of those 5 star facilities. It starts from the front desk where I am always greeted by friendly staff. The facility itself has more of a "resort like" feel. It is upbeat and positive. There is always activities to promote a social environment for the residence. There is a gym which is great. The grounds and outside area are well kept and perfect to go for a walk. The staff is attentive and helpful. This all makes seeing patients at Woodbridge Terrace a pleasure. Where to begin? Woodbridge Terrace is amazing! My dad has been living there for one month, and we could not be happier. The staff is so kind and attentive, the food is good, and the activities are a lot of fun. Our kids lovingly call it grandpas resort because when they go, they enjoy visiting him and they usually walk away with goodies.
