Fairly large park with a fun atmosphere at the playground. There are 2 large play structures. One for littles and one for older kids. There's a few cool things in this park that offer variety to kids. There's a tunnel maze to crawl through, a wooden clubhouse, 2 sand diggers, an airplane to rock on. Rock climbing wall. Lots of sand. 4 regular swings and 4 bucket swings. The kids enjoyed the different facets of the play structures. Easy parking right by the park. read more

This review is for the non gated park/playground. There is a car park in between the play area and pool. There are two play structures, little and large. Both has small canopies to shade them, but they are so small that it's more for decoration. The play structures are a bit more interesting than the usual which is nice. There's a rock climbing wall and a long tube to crawl through. There is also a sandy area with really cute digger equipment toys. This park has four big swings and four infant swings, so lots of littlies can go on at once. No squabbling over them, hehe. There are a couple of picnic tables with BBQs situated under a shady area. There is also a baseball field. We often walk our dog past here and it is always busy. read more

This is a beautiful park in a lovely neighborhood of Irvine!! I spent most of my day here at a baseball tournament. The park is very clean and well taken care of. It is surrounded by a townhome community that looks recently build. There is plenty of parking from the street to the lots. The restrooms are very clean and well stocked. They have designated smoking areas too with ashtrays for cigarettes. The park has tennis courts, a swimming pool, play area and nice baseball fields. The grass is very green and they have automatic sprinklers that come on after each game to water the dirt. The bleacher area is fairly large and the dugouts are covered and roomy for the boys. If I lived locally I wouldn't mind taking strolls through the park or having picnics on beautiful days!! read more

I usually don't come to community parks while on vacation, but as it turns out, it was a blessing in disguise and was happy to be here. When visiting my niece and nephew here in Irvine, California, something had got to give. I guess it's one of those responsible things I needed to do as an uncle to spend time with them and watch them grow up when they are young and they will have a favorable memory of me when I'm not in California. I basically bookmarked that Friday afternoon to hang out with my niece and nephew, along with my sister here and eventually evening at the Woodbury community park. It's been a while since I have seen them and it was very nice to just be there and not do what I normally do. The park itself was pretty big and it was nice to see other parents with the kids playing and having fun. The area itself is in Irvine, California so it was a nice neighborhood and green space to socialize and make new friends along the way. Not sure if this park is pet friendly or not, but it works for many families who work and play in the area. I know that this park is quiet beautiful and is probably kept looking awesome year round. The overall experience here at the Woodbury community park was pretty good and you have a lot of screaming kids playing with each other while their parents watch them pretty much constantly so that they don't get hurt. The park is equipped with the standard and modern playground equipment you know and love when you grew up as a kid. Jungle gyms, you slides, swing sets to name a few. Kids love it and it brings a smile to my face when my niece and nephew were having fun that Friday afternoon. It's the little things that make life pretty unique and special. I remember staying here about 3 1/2 hours, since it got dark around 6pm at the time and we stayed till around 7:30pm before we left the area. There were drinking fountains, but didn't see any restroom facilities nearby or on property. Woodbury community park is located at 12345 Jeffery Road here in the heart of Irvine, California. Since this is a neighborhood park, there is absolutely no admission charges. Free free, as the crow flies, as they say! The parking situation is pretty liberal, just get here before the crowd does and you'll have free reign on where to park. For the most part though, the experience here at Woodbury community park was something different and unique. I felt out of place, since I don't have any kids of my own and there were plenty of mothers with kids there. I just stood there, watching my niece and nephew playing around. Made me realize of the simple days that were long behind me. The kids were loud and the playground equipment were used a lot, so that made everyone happy it seems. For me though, it was nice to hang out with family and reminded me that family is the important thing in my life - while managing the marathons and traveling as well. Having a family of my own requires patience and a life alteration that may or may not happen in my lifetime. Still, being at Woodbury community park here in Irvine, California reminded me that it's possible. The weather was pretty much perfect, sunny and cool/warm for the first weekend of February 2018. This review is not for the park. The park is great. I just wanted people to know that they should not pay cash for the snack vending machine. It ate my money twice and there was no sign indicating that it was broken. If possible, use your card although there is a service fee of 10 cents. I called the number on the vending machine to let someone know so someone can come out to fix it. I spoke to the person and he sounded pretty irritated. He said "message me your name and address and I'll send you a check". I don't need money, I just need someone to fix it and put a sign there to let people know it's broken. read more

Park has a lot to offer and since it's in Irvine they keep it clean and classy. I've came here a couple times because if my friends who live In the area, and can't ever go wrong hanging out and enjoying a cold one lol. read more

This is a great place to take family photos, especially off Grassland and Triple Leaf. We took photos on a Saturday in late October, the lighting was great. There were 5 photographers doing different families when we got there. Great fall scenery. read more

This community that my grand parents live in is great. The park and pools are ways to have fun instead of going to another park that is far. The pool is nice and warm to it is a great way to cool off after a hot day with sports or playing with friends. The good thing about this is that it is close by near my grandparents house in the community so my cousins, my brother and I can play either in a pool or on the park for as long as we want unless if it is getting dark. read more

not only the park which is pretty large for a neighborhood-enclosed park, but this whole Woodbury community is just utterly amazing. beautiful homes with a maze of suburb streets and each section and area is different and has its own personality and characteristics. not really cookie-cutter at all like typical new Irvine. trails and paths all alongside certain areas of this neighborhood. amazing community is like a city in itself. i come here almost every night when i go jogging it is my favorite destination. you'll see me walking or jogging around here after 8pm weekdays perhaps. if you see me drive really slowly next to me and wave hi. i will say hi back. read more

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The houses are basically modern castles, the layout of the community ensures a safe environment for children to play, and the area is so quiet and peaceful. Some family members just moved into their new home here, and it's incredibly gorgeous. The kids have such a great time at the cleanest community pool I've ever seen and I've already played with them on the newly installed kiddie playground. Well-manicured landscaping for every home, lush & diverse flora/fauna (it feels like you're visiting an arboretum), it's a beautiful community to live it. read more

Woodbury Community Park is a great little park tucked in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Irvine. I have lived in Irvine for a while now and have vistied quite a few parks. I live in College Park, but i love Woodbury so much that I always go there. The staff there is super friendly. I went a few weeks ago to ask some questions about renting the clubhouse for a party and the staff member that was there (Joel) was very helpful and very friendly and welcoming. All in all, this is a great park to visit in Irvine. read more

The only reason i give it 4/5 stars is because its a bit small and the bathrooms are dirty. For being a fancy new park in irvine, the toilets are always dirty and mudyy and gross. The other problem is the park doesnt have much shade. The trees are still young and barren. But i love the green manicured lawns and theres always cute kids smiling and playing happily with their parents, dog-walking, yoga groups, etc. a nice neighborhood park! read more
