Wow i've lived in irvine for 5 years, and never noticed woodbury has such a beautiful park. The garden by the club reminds me of huntington botanical garden, which is one of my favorite places. It's chill and quiet in garden, and energetic in sports area.

Luxurious and pristine park with various garden lay outs including desert plants, French style gardens, etc. Residents of the neighborhood homes paid amenitie fees to get access to well-maintained private heated salted olympic swimming pools, kids' pool, tennis courts, barbecue area, etc.

This review is for the non gated park/playground. There is a car park in between the play area and pool. There are two play structures, little and large. Both has small canopies to shade them, but they are so small that it's more for decoration. The play structures are a bit more interesting than the usual which is nice. There's a rock climbing wall and a long tube to crawl through. There is also a sandy area with really cute digger equipment toys. This park has four big swings and four infant swings, so lots of littlies can go on at once. No squabbling over them, hehe. There are a couple of picnic tables with BBQs situated under a shady area. There is also a baseball field. We often walk our dog past here and it is always busy.

This is a beautiful park in a lovely neighborhood of Irvine!! I spent most of my day here at a baseball tournament. The park is very clean and well taken care of. It is surrounded by a townhome community that looks recently build. There is plenty of parking from the street to the lots. The restrooms are very clean and well stocked. They have designated smoking areas too with ashtrays for cigarettes. The park has tennis courts, a swimming pool, play area and nice baseball fields. The grass is very green and they have automatic sprinklers that come on after each game to water the dirt. The bleacher area is fairly large and the dugouts are covered and roomy for the boys. If I lived locally I wouldn't mind taking strolls through the park or having picnics on beautiful days!!

The city of Irvine is the king of parks. Woodbury community park is no exception. There is plenty of parking. The landscaping is well manicured. The playground is clean and the equipment is top notch. This is definitely a child's paradise.

I haven't seen the whole park yet...which seems really great, I've played soccer twice on the main field by the parking, the field is in a good shape, perfect for 11 vs 11, field is very close to parking, restrooms, gatorade vending machine, not crowded which is awesome

There were tons of photographers out today doing family photos

Best park in the Irvine area. Good for walking and also for playing with the kids. The basket ball and the fields are awesome.

Ask the Community - Woodbury Community Park

    Are them open today?

Hello, Woodbury Community Park closes at 8 PM today. Further information can be received by calling,…

Is it open to the public?

Yes! However, the tennis and basketball courts are not, as they require a key to get in. This applies to the pools too, if you were wondering.

Is the pool posted in the photos public?

No, you need a key FOB to get in. Residents can bring in others that don't live in the community, but I believe there is some limit to that as well.

Is this a public park? or is it for residents only?

    It is a public park!

I won't elaborate too much on the Lakers, Kobe, and his daughter because everyone would be aware of the essence of this place. The mural of Kobe and his daughter smiling beautifully captures the power of love between father and daughter. The court floor is painted in yellow and purple, matching the Lakers' theme perfectly. What an inspiring and grateful gift to the community. Lucky you, Anaheim! There's a glass backboard on each side of the basketball hoop. The floor is made of plastic material similar to beer bottle racks, making it non-slippery and great for safety, especially when performing ankle-breaking crossover moves. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 despite it being stunningly beautiful and the only full court available. The issue is that when groups of 10 show up, smaller groups get pushed out with nowhere else to go. After shooting around for a few minutes at half court, my son and I were forced to move aside when 10 people suddenly decided to play full court. This is a public court, so I don't mind sharing. However, with no other full courts in the area, we had no choice but to step off. I would have loved to reserve the next game, but we were there for my son's practice, so the timing wasn't right. Maybe next time we'll join in for some 5-on-5 with the older crowd!

I'm the only one here. I only work here two days a week. This is an issue for City Council. There are multiple kids' camps happening right now" is unacceptable. If there are multiple kids camps happening, it's even more imperative that a bunch of unknown dogs aren't running around on the same fields, isn't it? This is an issue I have called the Sports Park about multiple times. Why isn't it being addressed? There is a large off-leash dog park nearby in Lake Forest. It is negligent for the management of the Sports Park to leave this unattended, when residents have reported it multiple times. Are you waiting for a child to get mauled before there is a protocol or enforcement? Also, I'm not saying that the person at the front desk is the one who is responsible for this; clearly his hands were tied with multiple responsibilities and this really is a management and security issue. But if that is how he is going to respond to a Lake Forest resident (who should have equal opportunity to safely use this park) who voices a safety concern, please ensure he receives some training. Also, please make sure those leading your group classes don't take photos of class participants and post them online without their permission. This is also really unprofessional.

How have I not given our local park the Yelp treatment yet??!?…read more Lexington was the answer to Oak Knoll being outgrown, we are a city of recreation and competitive sports, and if you build it, we will use it to its fullest potential. Lexington is proof! This park, at its core, is two large sized football/soccer fields that can be divided up for smaller league kid games. One field is natural grass, the other a composite. The entire park is well lit because of the night games that are played there, which makes for an overall inviting and safe experience - and I never see the park empty, it's always in use. Surrounding the fields are a running track that circles the distance of the park, a large playground area, seating for the parents, oh, a large set of bleachers for the FNL and soccer games. A workout area in the back with a circuit style set of arm/leg machines. Pickleball and basketball courts, a general area with covered seating for picnics and gatherings, and a large parking lot area that, although large, can be found filled on busy days. Overall this is a good park and a great addition to our cities lineup. We come here often to do sports or use their other various facilities. :)

My only complaint is the playground is truly geared for older kids 2.5-3years + older. I feel with such a large project, the city of Cypress could have added a few other features to make it friendly for under 3yr olds - it's literally only 1 small slide for the littles - no steering wheel to drive, or any features to fidget with, or twist, turn, pull or other. I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.
