I'm here at least twice a week and I love this place. They do not have what I call "Range Nazis" that are overbearing and invade your personal space while you're trying to shoot. This place wants everyone to be safe and have fun. They are very accommodating and easy going. It's not the most modern place, but it is the perfect place for shooters to go that don't want to be treated like dummies, like they do at these newer places. I will keep coming back here as long as they continue things the way they are.

The clerk listened and was attentive and understanding. As we left, another person (may have been the owner) stopped us and asked us about our experience. He was so kind and understanding....I would NEVER went back, but way the 2 men responded made a difference and inspired me to give this business as many stars as i could. I brought some coworkers here for an intro to sporting clay shooting. A few of us had some past…read moretrap/skeet experience, but overall none of us were experienced shotgun shooters. We talked to the owner, Chuck, and setup for an evening after work to spend a few hours with him showing us the ropes. The facility is off the beaten path, but not terribly so (all the roads were paved). It was about a 15 minute drive from Marietta. The facility is nice; basically a log-like-cabin building at the top of a hill. In addition to the sporting clays course, there is a lighted trap range, outdoor and indoor gathering/eating areas, and a grill or two (they do a Thurs night shoot and steak night, I hear). I believe he said the sporting clays course is over 22 acres, and the entire property is 230 acres. Pretty big. Chuck got us familiar with the basic rules of sporting clays, made sure we had the right stuff (we brought our own guns, not sure if he rents them) like eye and ear protection, and took us out to the first stand. He coached us thru the basics of shooting a moving target, how the course works, how to shoot at multiple clays (birds) in a single stand, etc... He was very patient with us, as some of us sucked at shooting. He's a really nice guy with a lot of experience. We did 9 or 10 of the stands (like holes in a golf course... you walk around the entire hilltop.. ), I believe there are 16 overall.. and they can be changed to be harder or easier. We shot until it got too dark to see anything. Overall it was a great evening of shooting. We're planning on heading back soon. It would be a great place to do a corporate event or family outing, pending you like your coworkers/family enough not to shoot them. Call ahead and make an appointment as they don't have regular hours (maybe Thursday they do).

I recently purchased 2 wilson combat magazines and neither one would function correctly in my…read morepistol. I took them back and was told they could not take them back due to their insurance since I had already tried to use them. So I was sold defective magazines that I did not know were defective until I tried to use them. I tried to contact wilson combat about problems with previous magazines that did not work. They told me to take them back to where I purchased them. If the store will not take them back and wilson will not take them back I am out over 90 dollars. They lost a customer and will not be back.
