This is by far the best shooting range around, No frills, outdoor range that is reasonably priced…read moreand staffed by friendly people with customer service at the forefront of their minds. I'm here at least twice a week and I love this place. They do not have what I call "Range Nazis" that are overbearing and invade your personal space while you're trying to shoot. This place wants everyone to be safe and have fun. They are very accommodating and easy going. It's not the most modern place, but it is the perfect place for shooters to go that don't want to be treated like dummies, like they do at these newer places. I will keep coming back here as long as they continue things the way they are.

I'm am a large woman and got stuck on rocks in shallow water more times than I wish to acknowledge. Bear's wife Marissa graciously and efficiently freed me every single time and was kind! I was kinda fed up and my dignity drowned but we got to a deeper part with gorgeous rock formations and all was well. I would go again.

They are great with kids. The 6 year old was initially terrified but he was the first mounted and rode the whole time! Taylor worked with him so he was calm when Reese was ready to start. Most of the children had never been on a horse. Jake is a very attentive trail boss & made the ride calm & enjoyable. We plan on spending more time there!

But anyways, that did not deter me, but the course does play along a few RV camping sites. Park at the camp store and hole #1 is up the stairs on the back side of the bldg. Hole #10 is across the street from the store, in the woods. Great challenge of holes. Some really long ones and not many short ones. Most averaged between 250-300 ft. I really liked some of the elevation changes and the general layout and use of the land. Definitely worth stopping here if you are close by or on your way thru the area.

I talked to one of…read morethe owners and she told me they rent the carriages (driver with it) for all sorts of occaisions; Weddings, church fairs, street fairs, fund raisers, Hay Rides, birthdays etc., etc. The horses seemed healthy and happy and were well shod. The carriages I have seen seem to be in good condition and well maintained. If you are looking for something like this for an event this seems to be a good option.
