I've sat on this review for a week trying to decide if I wanted to share a not-so-flattering…read moreexperience. However, if there is a chance that Swifty's management may read this, along with fellow diners, it may be helpful for the future. The overall experience, food, and service was good. Clearly, this place and its 2 sister locations know how to be successful. But what we experienced could either be because a rogue chef or location manager is trying to cut corners - or - it could be the philosophy of the company to try and nickel-and-dime the customer to reduce costs and take advantage of those who won't notice. My boys and I ordered 20 wings to start, my oldest had a burger to follow, and my younger really wanted to focus on wings, so only ordered fries. I had the. Cheeseburger wrap with onion rings and coleslaw. Wings: crispy, tasty, and really good blue cheese. BUT...when they came to the table, the baskets looked light. So... WE COUNTED THEM. ONLY 17. My (as the menu clearly states) "half pound burger in a wrap" was probably 1/4 of a pound light. Wait til you see the photo. So, all the good service and reasonably good food was ruined by Swifty's trying to either take advantage of customers incrementally hundreds of times a day (order by order) - or - they have a location chef and manager who tolerate food leaving their kitchen that is not as advertised or up to the standard which allowed them to open 3 locations. It's one or the other. Will we be back? I don't know. We really wanted this to be great. We live in the Northwest Corner of CT, my son goes to college in Rochester, this location is literally (to the mile) half-way between. We make the trip weekly due to his athletics schedule. We wanted to be regulars. Will probably look elsewhere next time. 2 stars for the front of the house service. It was excellent. And the blue cheese dressing. It was fantastic. If you go - count your wings and make sure what the menu says is on your plate.

My reuben sandwich was absolutely fantastic and prepared them like I have not had in a very long…read moretime. Even though this is a particle food is very fantastic if you're looking for something to eat as well. You have to stop by this place if you're in the Utica area. Services incredibly friendly and they get you exactly what you want. Food quality is incredible as well so you get double the dining pleasure

Some work friends and I stumbled upon this place a few months ago, and we all instantly felt at…read morehome. We've been back every week since. There's so much to love about this place. They have classic arcade games like pinball & galaga, but they also have the newer games like buck hunter & a beer pong machine. The food is top notch, I always get their burger (made with their own special short-rib blend). They have a great selection on tap, with new beers rotated in pretty regularly. But the best part by far are the owners, Chris & Donna. They are the number one reason we keep coming back. I've never felt more welcomed in any establishment, it's like being in an episode of "Cheers" (but for millenials).

Looked over the menu and placed our order with Michelle, who by the way provided very good service along with assistance from another guy, didn't catch his name at the bar.. Chris and Donna both stopped over to check in on us and say hello, as she remembered us from a time we previously stopped and they really appreciated that we returned. A plus to management. For the food - My spouse and I tried their BBG's hamburgers - mine with side salad vs. fries or chips with a champagne dressing that was very good. Spouse had hers with Fries and they were good along with the burger. To be honest, when you first look at the burger and bun, see picture, you think, SMALL, however they are very thick & delicious and I barely finished my burger. Someone else had their Cuban and he enjoyed his sandwich with Excellent, I must say, sweet potato fries. His spouse had their NY chicken speidi and she enjoyed her meal as well. Lots of fun games and great place for kids and parties, they even let you bring your own cake in. Not many places that allow that. As an FYI there was a small birthday party going on and the noise level wasn't bad and the staff placed lots of great looking food on a table for the participants to help themselves. This is also a great place to catch a sports game as well. All in all great food and very good & friendly service. We will return again, that roasted sausage sandwich is calling my name.

Not a super great experience... at the host stand the two hostesses stood in front of us bickering…read moreabout where to seat us while we awkwardly stood there. Once we were seated, no waitress came to greet us until after 15 minutes when my party member got up to tell someone that no one had come yet. There was no non-alcholic drink menu, not even a section on the food menu. We ordered the Toasted Ravioli to share, and I got the Fried Haddock. The ravioli was good but the haddock was a bit dry. Not unbearably so but enough that I definitely noticed. When the check came and I was given the receipt to sign, they didn't include a pen so once again we had to stand up to get someone's attention. Everything was reasonably priced, and would have been worth it if the service hadn't been so lacking. I won't be in a rush to return.

I had to stand and go get someone to help us. Food was mid, looked better than it tasted. My friend had the fish fry and it was dry, I had the Florentine pizza and it was okay, not bad but also nothing to ride home about. We also had the toasted raviolis, again, not bad but just not "I can't wait to have them again". Big place, I would say good for big groups as I saw many.
