Yes, it is quite hilly throughout the campground, but the individual sites are very level to park the camper with almost no blocks needed. We had two sites this trip with water and electric, but they do have quite a few full hook-up sites. Overall the sites were large, with trees between, providing additional privacy. Except for the Plateau sites, which have the amazing view, the rest of the campground had a great tree cover! Too often private campgrounds attempt to squeeze as many sites as possible and end up with campers on top of their neighbors, but at Starlight, the sites felt very secluded. Water pressure and electric were both great throughout the stay. There is no internet, but we had good cell phone service. The employees in the camp store are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome! I felt everyone went above and beyond to help me from the reservation process through check-in. The camp store is well stocked and also serves hand-dipped ice cream. Starlight is a nice campground to relax or explore central Pennsylvania.

It was quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our son was getting married and this was reasonably close. The other 2 campgrounds that were other options were on top of the tollway and a shooting range. This was soooo much better. They have sites that look over the valley. The view was breathtaking, but we preferred the shaded sites. If we had a reason to be in the area again, we would certainly return!

The game room was a little outdated and didn't give tickets but was clean and had a variety of games.

Having been to Muddy Run park throughout my life for various things (weddings, boating, etc) the splash park is relatively new and I was eager to check it out. Best thing about it...IT'S TOTALLY FREE! While it may be on the small side it's loads of fun for kids of all ages, with buckets that dump, spritzers that spray, nozzles that shoot, and cascading water everywhere. There's so many features that they can interact with and ways to get wet - alittle or alot - your choice. The pad is clean and colorful with a retaining wall where parents can sit and keep a close eye. It's surrounded by a grassy area with picnic tables, shade trees, and a playground. You can have a picnic, or just soak in the sun's rays. While it's about a 40 minute drive from Lancaster City it's worth the trip as there's other things to do in the park - fish, boat, ride bike, trails, camp, ride horses, etc. GPS did send me the wrong way but once you find the park the signage will lead you right to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the behavior of the kids there, and parents were pretty attentive. There's a bathroom a short walk away, which we didn't go in, as well as an employee monitoring (but not lifeguarding) the area. The splash pad has it's on designated parking lot. We'll definately go back in 2021

This place is considered part of Adventure Bound Camping Resorts. They are a ripoff! Booked reservations way back in beginning of 2022. Their website states "Full Cash refund if cancelled w/30 days prior to arrival." We cancelled on April 12, 2022 @ 10:53 a.m. for reservations on July 28-31of 2022 & were charged a $25 cancellation fee not only for the campsite but also another $25 for the golf cart rental. I can understand one cancellation fee, but not when they advertise full refund. Had to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances, but that is beside the point considering we cancelled well in advance of our planned stay. Contacted Adventure Bound Camping Resorts to discuss this BS from Eagles Peak & was told the website I was looking at had NOTHING to do with them...yet the address for Eagles Peak is an exact match (see screen shot below.) This is what I was told... Hi, Sorry for the confusion. That is not our website. We are not affiliated with reserve America in any way. Here is our website: https://www.abcamping.com/abeaglespeak/policies.php Matt No affiliation?? Why does the address match! One more way to try to screw over the hard working customer! I would have been happy just to get the $25 refund for the golf cart charge, but they had top be a-holes about the whole thing. These fees are ridiculous, especially since website advertises full cash refund if cancelled w/in 30 days of arrival AND I have never heard of a cancellation fee for a golf cart...this campground did not have anything about this in their policy bc campgrounds never have a problem renting them, if anything there are never enough for people to ren This is the 1st chance I have had to write a review regarding this issue since cancelling. We will NEVER stay at this campground, OR ANY OTHER Adventure Bound campground! Big-time ripoff, and the people in the office are not friendly as described. Wouldn't surprise me if they pocketed our $$ for the so called cancellation fees. I highly recommend you avoid Eagles Peak & any other Adventure Bound campgrounds. They lie, are rude and just plain all around SUCK!

I've been coming here since 2016, however was never able to secure a spot during the coveted summer months. Sites book up fast here, (summer 2022 is almost totally booked as of the first week of June 2021!!) So if you're able to get a spot - go! The pool opened before Memorial Day this year which I was grateful for and Mother Nature co-operated which was a huge plus. The staff here is great, especially the live in managers. They're super helpful and concerned with making sure your stay is a memorable one. When we had an issue with our tow vehicle while in their campground they thoughtfully pulled it to our site and offered assistance. An employee even offered to tow it home if we needed him to! What a relief it was to not have to spend the weekend worrying plus their concern felt genuine. Here's some of the highlights for our family: Bingo -it's the BEST of any campground with big payouts and 8 ways to win. Plus they offer specials, tab tickets, and 50/50 - with the proceeds going to charity. I love it even more now that it's been moved from the lodge to the open pavilion. Pool: there's a splash park with at least 6 slides, bucket dumps, sprays, etc for the kids, a kids pool with a swim up snack bar and mushroom, with a walk out feature for the wee little ones, and an adult pool. Lounges, tables, umbrellas, etc are all there so no need to drag a ton to the pool. Activities: crafts for kids in the lodge, special events and hayrides. We were lucky even to be here two weekends recently, one was Pirate weekend, and the other featured an 80's band. The professional pirates (yes, there's people that are in character for a living) really made their presence known throughout the campground and interacting with everyone. The entire theme was geared towards pirates and princesses. My granddaughter's had a blast. The 80's band was awesome and the energy level was family friendly yet fun. We loved it. Best ice cream of any campground too! Misses for us, aside from being hard to book, is the pricing. They are occupancy based, so the price goes up as reservations increase, which makes a site more expensive than a motel room. Also the layout. Walking to the lodge and pond isn't impossible but easier with a golf cart (they rent). I really also dislike that the majority of sites are on the upper, heavily wooded level. I know I'm the odd ball here but I'd rather camp in the open, without trees for safety reasons + I like to be in the center of everything. Do take a look at the map before booking, if you're like me, the 100's are where you want to be.
