SERVICE: Front desk was friendly and helpful. LOCATION: Not in old Deadwood, but not too far away from the strip. There is a $2 shuttle to take you up into town. ETC.: Adjacent to Cadillac Jack's for your must-do-right-now gambling needs, as well as some food service. This is the off season and there is no way that this hotel is filled to anywhere near capacity , so why they would send someone with a pet up to the top floor is beyond me. For example, the bathroom shower wouldn't maintain a consistent temperature. It feels like they use the haunted theme as an excuse to keep the rooms in such a rundown state. On the positive side, the view was nice, and I did get a good night's sleep.
