The coziest little pizza (and much more) restaurant with amazing food and kind staff! The restaurant is small and feels like everyone is family. The menu offers a wide variety and everything my family ordered was delicious. The pizza was very good and there were classic and unique pizza toppings to choose from. We got a fig and Brie pizza that was great! You can even buy their dough to take home to make your own. This restaurant is also BYOB with a $5 uncorking fee. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. The waitress was friendly and very courteous. The food was good ! A good place to hit if you've been out on the NCR trail.

Excellent food and Service. Not too many restaurants in the area but this is a good one. Had the pizza and a few apps and all was great.

I got the chicken…read moresalad but requested it without bread and was very satisfied that they served it to me instead on a bed of greens. One friend got the chicken Caesar salad. It's listed on the menu as a "small plate" but turned out to be a very decent size. My husband tried the key lime ice cream, which was not listed on the menu of flavors. This tasted really good too. The seating area is very limited - about six table with two chairs each. There are also a few tables outside. One drawback is that prices are not clearly listed. For instance, I could not find any signage for how much the drinks, muffins or croissants cost, which would have been helpful to me in my attempt to be a smart consumer. Overall, this is a nice place to grab a bite after walking or biking the trail. There is 30 minute parking for customers - apparently the employee told a friend of ours that they do tow away cars (I guess of hikers) but I don't know how much they enforce the time aspect.

When we arrived there were cars parked on the side of York Road, maybe 20-25 of them. Ouch! We were lucky to grab a parking spot as someone left. My daughter went in to check on how long the wait was - and they found a table for the four of us. Needless to say it was busy... and loud with live music almost deafening. We were brought menus and waters. My wife, a friend, and youngest daughter had joined the birthday team. Three of the four girls had not tasted "real" Maryland crab cakes before, so we ordered one as an appetizer. After a bit it came and was divided for each to try. They loved it! So the four girls each ordered the Crab Cake meal and I had my eye on the Prime Rib, on weekend menu. After a wait, the meals came. The Crab Cakes came with side salads or fries. My Prime Rib came with Loaded Baked Potato and Asparagus, with horseradish on the side. The Crab Cakes were great! All the girls loved them. My Prime Rib was a different story. It was tough, many tendon(?) strings through it all that were very difficult to cut through. Now a little fat is great for flavor, but this Prime Rib was half see pic) gristle & fat. And there was no flavor to meat that was there. What I could eat, I had to salt & pepper to get any taste. Absolutely the worst Prime Rib I have ever been served. And of course we had to have dessert to celebrate the birthdays. We ordered an chocolate peanut butter pie and It was an excellent. The music was too loud to have conversations and tables having conversations talked loudly over the music, which made it even noisier! So if you love Maryland Crab Cakes, no place does it better. But stick with what they are famous for, otherwise take your chances. And if you want conversations, don't come on weekend evenings.

He was very attentive throughout our dining service. The restaurant is big and has several walk through dining areas including some outside. Great for larger parties and families! There is also a bar area up front for smaller or individual parties. I ordered the crab cake sandwich which from having the crab cake platter, I prefer the sandwich version. I also got the cream of crab soup which was delicious with some lump pieces of crab meat. Not too thick or too thin either! We also got a plate of fried pickles and it was not my favorite as they do it in spear form so the breading kind of slides off from the first bite. Chips would be preferred. The calamari however was the complete opposite! Really light batter fried perfectly with peppers!! Highly recommend!

If I want to go here on the weekend I usually order ahead as it is packed. The food & coffee amazing, especially the peppermint mocha. This was once my favorite place not so much for coffee (as the coffee here has never been great,…read moreokay at best), but for excellent food and personality. A lot of folks complain about parking as it is very tight at times, but it was never meant for the business it currently sees, and due to the creek out back it can't be expanded. So roll with it folks. Covid was hard on everything, but the station expertly adapted and kept the ball rolling. Soon there was a change in management and the station quickly became a trinket shop, and the last of the wonderful employees disappeared just as quickly. The once vibrant personalities that made this station so nice were replaced with Josh's chosen minions. Until the minions I never had a wrong order (food or drink), never had an issue with quality of food, never received a drink less than full (ie. to much room), never received a milkshake with large (iced cube size) chunks of ice in it, and never had gritty coffee and coffee with grounds in it. Josh is gone and there are new faces in the station, but the service has not improved. Wait times are much longer, and there are no less issues with both food and drink. Case in point; there was so much sauce in the burrito I recently ordered that I believe they dumped the entire bottle in it. The food just isn't what is used to be even going back before Josh. It lacks quality, flavor, preparation (just slapping items together), bland at best. Even my favorite sandwich, the tomato basial panini style, was recently a gigantic miss. Tomato's were mostly unripe, little to no basial, and the whole grain bread was overdone to the consistency of concrete and the color of asphalt. I miss the Filling Station of old, it just isn't the same.
