Community Medical Center is not a large center but it is the most efficient computer literate medically knowledgeable polite and kind practice I have ever been to including large medical centers in Los Angeles and San Diego. Every office person at the entrance behind the windows at desks with computers and modernized databases are cheerful, professional, welcoming, quick and respectful. The hallways and exam rooms are spotlessly clean and disinfected with gurneys and furniture lower and designed for people of all ages and abilities. They seem to have their own lab with a cheerful respectful phlebotomist and the physician sits with the patient closely and asks detailed questions that he acts on immediately via his or her computer so that before you even leave the office he has (in my case and other) already made referrals for tests or scans or X-rays or to specialists or to pharmacist. You are automatically set up on their website so that you can sign in and see your test results or orders to specialists or tests and can easily message the physician with questions and they many times message you with what is being done found out or recommended. The website js set up to keep the patient as a partner with the doctor. Very very unusual these days but so needed and like the ones we see in movies but never experience until you come to Community Medical Center

She takes the time to really listen and focuses on the root of the issues. She focuses heavily on balance, giving myself grace, and sustainability when suggesting changes I can make that may help, instead of suggesting 180 degree life overhauls. I have suffered from disordered eating for my entire life and since being in her care I have developed such a better relationship with food and my health and my body. She treats the mind and the body together and she doesn't just treat me, she teaches me and that makes all the difference in the world. I recommend her to EVERYONE!!!

They are also very friendly and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable, even when I have lots of questions. Diane is kind, first and foremost. She listens to my symptoms and concerns, my goals (short term and long term) and partners with me. I feel that my concerns are always addressed and that I know she has listened to me fully. Since I travel to Louisville with moderate frequency, it's no problem to have a doc there. Wait time for new patients was 2 weeks, below average of other places I called. The main thing is that Dr Gilberts took her time and didn't rush me out. We had engaging conversation and she easily established trust. It was frankly the first time I did NOT feel like another faceless copayment. I felt human and like she genuinely cared about the outcome of my health. Needless to say I highly recommend Dr Gilberts and I am excited to have finally located a doctor that understands me. All other neurotic hypochondriac entrepreneurs and professionals will feel right at home, just like me :)

Dr. Ingwersen validated everything I told her on my first consultation/visit. After meeting with her I was referred and sent to 2 specialists, one of which was an allergist. My former doctor just shrugged off my allergies and basically told me to deal with it. Thanks to Dr. Ingwersen I am now at maintenance level of allergy shots and feel better than I have in years. I spent 5 years with my former PC physician and 10 minutes with Dr. Ingwersen. She gave me more care than he ever did.

I visited Dr…read more Dukes in August of 2021 for back pain from a prior accident, seeking x rays and a diagnosis. Initially, Dr. Dukes was very friendly and we started to go over my prior medical history before we went over the x ray results. She asked me a question regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, which I have not received. When Dr. Dukes became aware of me being unvaccinated, she got up, opened the door, and stood in the hallway. Her friendly personality did a 180 and she began to bash me, saying "You're the reason why so many people are dying", "its all because of people like you", "I will not sign you up for in person therapy since you are unvaccinated" and much more. Keep in mind that we were both wearing n95 masks the entire time. After arguing through the doorway for a few minutes, she closed the door and sent in an assistant to reschedule the meeting via Zoom. I declined and made my out of the office. This was, by far, the least professional interaction I've had with anyone in my life. Would never recommend anyone to Dr. Heather Dukes or her office.
