They recently bought the land next to our neighborhood - it was all mapped out for residential homes and looked great. They quietly and underhandedly sold 4 adjoining lots to the NDPA jr high (a charter school) for them to divert their traffic through our small quiet neighborhood from hill field. This was so disappointing. We tried to get the City Planning to enforce the school to not have any access to their property in our neighborhood and they can't do anything for us. The school won't respond to any of us as we ask them to be good neighbors and not have an access point in o it neighborhood. Sadly, very disappointed in your Symohony. Next time you think about building with Symohony, please keep this in mind - they don't really care about us having our nice neighborhood. They want to make a buck.

Beautiful homes with doors that don't latch, fixtures that fall off the walls, tiles that are not even, scratches all over nice surfaces from day 1 moving in (which they won't cover btw), "floating" laminate that is nailed down and so much more. Such a great experience trying to get them to fix anything. Our first call took 3 months to get any help. We submitted our request for asthetic things and 2/3 were never taken care of. I understand that their subcontractors are other businesses... but Nilson Homes is aware of the quality of work and the issues regarding it. I had to sit and fight with their flooring contractor to come out and fix our floors that were separating because they had replaced random ones with flooring that didn't even match AND had holes from nails all over them. It literally took me sending around 90 pictures pointing to every single nail hole on my floor for them to come out. The nails void the flooring companies warranty, unlike the contractor tried to convince me. Luckily I am familiar with shady contractors so I did my own research before even reaching out to them so I could let him know he was lying to me. We would try to call and they would tell us they were figuring it out then never call us back. We did months of trying to get them out before we gave up. All of the neighbors homes are having the same issues. The airflow of the entire house is absolutely awful. Makes total sense now why the guy on our final walkthrough was telling me about how to get airflow better... he knew it was going to be bad. Our main bedroom is above the garage and approximately 90 degrees all summer. We have had to sleep on our main level to survive and have had to buy a mobile swamp cooler to make it even livable.

We seriously had the best experience with Robert and Kasi. They really make a great team…read more I'll be honest we were concerned at first when we found out that the "crew "was a one man crew. But man do I tell you Robert can get so much done even in a day ! We were thoroughly impressed with his work. If we didn't like something or if we noticed something and pointed it out to him, he would fix it. Another thing that we really loved about them is their communication. We always knew when Robert was coming or going. There were no surprises of what time he was gonna show up, which with another company, we had nothing but issues and had no idea when they would show up and do work that was not the case with these guys!! They were both very professional and anytime we made adjustments They provided an updated estimate. Robert would even show us what he did at the end of each day as well. We initially contacted them for one big job in our basement, and we were so impressed with their work that we had them come back for 4 different jobs. I believe them to be extremely reasonably priced. They were a tad more than another company that we looked at, however, we are so glad that we went with these guys over them. I really only had one single complaint if you can even call it that. But sometimes Robert would use things without asking. (One Example: our nice kitchen broom to clean up construction dust) we just bought a new one and didn't say anything cause it's not a huge deal, but do wish he would have asked as we had another broom that could have been utilized for a dirty job. But seriously I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!
