Went there to find some Shock Top and found so much more! The staff is always welcoming and available to help you find things and pair items with food. This time was pleasantly different. I got a chance to get a lead and a lesson on some Black owned and distributed spirits. Angela was hosting a tasting of the FOU-DRE brand of premium vodka! She answered my questions and was very knowledgeable about Black owned spirits offered in this store. The ambiance is relaxed and they encourage you to browse. read more

Decent liquor store, has almost everything you need for it being a small store. Some things are more pricey here than other liquor stores in the area, the customer service can sometimes be iffy. There's only a couple of parking spots directly in front of the store but plenty of parking to the side. read more

8/31/21 Bourbon hunt was a success! Large open store, tons of inventory. My interest is bourbon and they have plenty. Living in NC we don't have access to independently owned liquor or package stores. The upside is everything in NC is purchased at MSRP, downside is we don't see many "tough to find" bourbons or much of the allocate stuff. This place had several hard to find bourbons, I grabbed a bottle of Bookers (2/2021), one of my favorites and a bottle of Remus II (I've read a couple good reviews). Pricing wasn't MSRP but wasn't super crazy either. Looked like a husband & wife behind the counter, both wefriendly. I'll visit again when I'm in the area. read more

So as much as I want to love this store just because it's convenient...I have to say the prices here are extremely over priced. I use frequent this store often until I started paying attention to the prices. For the same bottles I can travel a little father out and get for way less... I often put together party favors, celebratory boxes etc and realized it when I went here to get shots of Hennessy for an order I received. The owner quoted me $7.99 per shot! I wanted 24 that total would've been well over $100 once you add the ridiculous tax! Needless to say in VA, I was able to get an entire case for $50! LOL Another one of my all time favs!! Veuve Clicquot Champagne- here $65-70 do they not know this is being sold at target for $39.99 or Costco in DC for $40! The rosè I'm also able to find for $49...vs the $65-80 they want to charge...smh.... Oh and my new fav here they sell the bottle of Winter Jack for $19.99....total wine in Laurel is $16I mean...now days I have to save and bargain where I can right! LMAO! Anyhoo I tried to tell the owner and he's really nice and will usually try to work with me, however he's not always there....I mean I'll run here for an emergency but it's definitely not my GO TO spot for wine and spirits. read more

I just recently moved to the area and stopped in to WW&S to grab a few bottles of wine. There is ample parking around the store. They are doing a great job with COVID precautions and masks are mandatory. The staff wears masks and you are encouraged to socially distance inside. They have a great variety of wine and liquor. I was excited to find the Black Girl Magic Rose in stock! I've been meaning to order it. Overall great location. Everyone is friendly and customer service is great. read more

This is always my go to liquor store. They don't mind coming from behind the counter. It's not to big not too small, decent parking & mini shopping carts. Some liquor stores might lack in customer service because they know their basically a necessity & business will come regardless but I thrive off good customer service & will always be a returning customer passing two liquors that are closer to me. Customer service trumps convenience in this case because the shelf items are sometimes moved around so customer service is necessary. read more

Holiday weekend, for some reason not all places are open. Couldn't find it at first, based on the address. I called, before they were open and the owner picked up and was quite helpful. It is located in Woodmore Town Center near the Noodles and Co. There is plenty of parking if needed. Selection is pretty dope and the prices are just right.. Staff are helpful and we're able to assist with getting my items to the car. I will be returning. read more

I've been using this liquor store since 2011. Sam, I think he was the owner and I do not see him there anymore. When he was there he did very well. He left about maybe two or three years ago, pre-Covid, and since then. The staff, they may be family member, working behind the counter, I observed them making jokes and and playing games, making fun of their customers once they leave the store! Especially African-Americans!!! This was very disheartening to me, and they are bound to lose customers doing this, I will not be going back to that store due to of the bad way they talk about their customers once they leave the store! I went to this establishment on 9/21 at 1pm and I just came back from yoga so I had on a sweater , yoga pants and sneakers. I wanted a bottle of wine and beer for the Redskins Game. As soon as I walked in the owner watched me like a hawk I couldn't even concentrate on selecting a wine. I didn't know my "yoga attire" screamed thief! The store had a decent selection however the majority of the "good stuff" is behind the counter! Needless to say I won't be coming back here nor will I recommend it. I will make that trip to Arlington or Alexandria for a prime selection of craft beer and wine without the hassle of being followed and watched from isle to isle! FYI to the owner if you own a store just know that people of all races and social classes will shop here! read more

You can't judge a book by it's cover! I have passed this place several times over the years never caring to check it out. I always assumed due to the location that the prices would be sky high, well I was wrong! The wine selection is huge, prices are comparable well actually less when they take on the 10% off weekday discount. Customer service is awesome, when I purchased way more than I planned they even offered to assist. I am glad I finally stopped in. read more

To add to the experience, as parking in front is limited, whenever I've purchased a few bottles at a time (cookout season) one of the young brothers working there will always carry the purchase to the car for me. This is probably my best wine store in town. I can find everything I need here to last me a month. They always have the best selection of wine Most of their selections are also very inexpensive & I most importantly love the fact that they're open on a Sunday. read more

Check your RECEIPTS. I purchased a 6 pack beer that cost 9.99. The cashier said it cost 15.23 so I assumed the price went up. After driving home, I noticed I was charged an extra 4 bucks for 2* Jack Daniels 50 ml bottles. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS before leaving the store. read more

Very good selection of libations although a little on the pricey side.I wish the wines were organized a little better. It was a little difficult for me to fine what I was looking for. If this is the wine shop by Wegman's, this is my favorite wine store! They always give me a good recommendation. I love SWEET wines and this store is stock full of all kinds - red and whites. I could go there every weekend and find a new great sweet wine. They have tastings on Friday and Saturday nights. The staff is very helpful. AND this store even has the little cordials that are hard to find in DC. I like Baileys and they have the little $2.99 bottles like the airplanes carry. I'm a fan for life. Five stars! read more

This is a great liquor store. Its very nice inside and the owners are just as nice. It's located in Woodmore Town Center which explains the nice decor. It's a classy liquor store, if that's possible lol. They have tastings on Fridays. We've bought quite a few things just from the tastings alone so I try not to go in on Fridays anymore lol. Anyway, they always have my favorite wine selections in stock. A few times they haven't had 2 brands of my husband's choices of tequila, but they're always able to recommend great substitutes. read more

For your local Wine, Beer & Spirit shop, this store has an extensive selection of wine which I love. They seem to always have new releases of alcohol or wine and if they dont have something in stock they are more than willing to look into ordering it and getting it in stock for you. Also, every time I drop into this store there are always sales going on. The most important thing to note about Woodmore Wine & Spirits is that they are open on Sundays!! Most liquor stores in PG are closed on Sundays so this is perfect! read more

This has become my absolute favorite wine/liquor store because it is very organized, the employees know their products & can make great recommendations based off of your taste, & the in store samplings really can expand your wine palate. I highly recommend checking them out. Oh & they have neat pre-packaged party shots like "rattle snake" tequila shots. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. they employees are more than helpful and i love them. the wide variety at this store keeps me coming back at least once a week. mainly on fridays of course lol. they have everything you can think of plus more. they are good with introducing you to new but always great liquor. my mom got me hooked on this liquor store, and now i have my boyfriend hooked on this liquor store. my daily routine every friday is to stop at wegmans for anything i need and head straight to woodmore wine and spirit. i refuse to go to any other liquor store. read more

Yea it's just a liquor store, but who wants to hand their hard earned money over to rude people and support a business that doesn't care how people are treated? Particularly, there is an Indian looking man who works behind the register who is just ridiculously ignorant. Finding wine from this region is very rare -- but this spot had several options to choose from. It also includes a great range from across the country and some of the best wine regions around the world. They even sell one of my favorite wines from a small producer is Paso Robles that is even hard to find in Southern California. They have a wonderful wine selection as well as non-alcoholic options such as Ghia soda. Being a longtime Californian, I loved the many options to try these non-alcoholic drinks known as Nootropics, aka herbal drinks that give you a relaxed feeling without the hangover. It's definitely not a buzzed feeling but more of an inner calm if you want to chill and wake up refreshed the next morning. The wines are reasonably priced. They also have a wide range of hard liquors. I'm not a heavy booze drinker so mostly come here for the wines and the Ghia soda. But it seems to be a nice selection on the hard liquor side as well.

I'm a bourbon fan, and they had a better selection and lower prices than many other shops, but again, it's the friendliness and knowledge that really makes the difference.

I am confused on why some of the liquor is behind the counter that's not really considered "top shelf" like Bacardi, Ciroc, and Smirnoff. But maybe it's because it's kind of in the "hood"? But regardless I actually like this store as the others around seem to never have what I want. But I would say they need to start to sale Skyy vodka has to drop a star as this is a well known brand.
