They constantly lose packages because they refuse to scan prepaid items in if they don't feel like it (funny how every time they do this, one of the packages never makes it into the system and there's "nothing they can do") and they constantly miss scheduled mail pickups for us small businesses. The employees are RUDE, they typically try to close early, and parking is just awful. It's so sad to be a small business owner that can't rely on the local post office.

But heaven forbid if you receive anything larger, you have to drive into town and pick it up from the post office. Why bother having a mail carrier when I have to go pick it up myself ? Why do I pay such high taxes? Makes no sense to me. They are NOT allowed (from what I was told) to drive up your driveway (in a rural area, not the village or town) and deliver a package, mail, certified letter, bulk magazines, etc...........Doesn't anyone work for a living? To me this world has become soft. Heaven forbid they should actually do their damn job. Deliver the mail............

I was very surprised that how many people came in to use the post office in this tiny little town. The service I requested was getting my bereavement gift to our family abroad in the most cost-efficient and fastest method possible. Nick was able to assist me in saving approximately $50 just by using a standard box instead of the white boxes marked priority mail. The travel time between accord New York and Tokyo Japan will be about the same give or take one day so saving 40 or $50 was well worth it. When they deliver for Amazon, they force the box into the mailbox, rather then dive up my driveway to my house. The product was a liquid and leaked. I put a vacation stop in in May and they kept delivering mail anyway. But there is nothing we can do about where we live an the post office we are stuck with!
