Stopped by on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon and very much enjoyed our wine tasting and DELICIOUS Inge pizza at Woodside. Staff was friendly and attentive, and pizza was perfect--light, crispy crust with just the right char, and the garlic and mushrooms very tasty.

Such a cute place to stop on the weekend and grab a glass of wine and check out the car garage and museum. The service, food and drinks were wonderful and we had a great time! Would recommend if you're looking for a place to relax outside with a small group.

Awesome new find for us! We loved this very welcoming and friendly place. Their Cabernet was tasty and the food was amazingly good! We loved that they allow furry kids to sit with you while you enjoy the wine and food. We'll definitely be going back! Thank you Inge and Carrie for your hospitality!

I found a great spot to visit now! A hidden gem. Service was warm and welcoming. They suggested we by a bottle because it was the same price as buying two glasses of wine. Enjoyed the outdoor patio and they also sell pizzas and charcuterie boards. We didn't have a chance to buy there food but we will definitely be returning - next time! We had the opportunity to check out the show room - impressive!

I can't stress my 5-star rating enough. This was THE PLACE for a fun weekend afternoon. Of note, remember that this spot is "attached" to another place called AutoVino. Regarding the wine, there is a fun spot they have set up in the parking lot that this building is located in. The first thing you notice is just how beautiful the set up is. They have an outdoor water fountain, a fun little Italian car you can take photos with, and they have a FOOD TRUCK! You walk up to their table and just check in and let them know you are there for a wine tasting. The tasting was very affordable, I think it was just $20 for a 5 wine tasting with very decent sized pours. The service was FANTASTIC. I think the person helping us was Carrie (?) - she was fantastic. Did a nice explanation of all the wines. We also ordered a pizza and it was BOMB! So good and honestly paired perfectly with our wine tasting. They also waive the tasting fee if you buy some bottles (can't remember the exact numbers), and their wine was very affordable and way cheaper than going crazy up in Napa or something like that. All things considered, this was literally the perfect afternoon and I'm so thankful I stumbled upon this place. And oh, don't let me forget - while you are sipping on your tastings, you can walk through AutoVino where is basically like a high end car museum. You can walk around and check out some awesome cars. Such a fun day!

    charcuterie board.

First time here and I am genuinely impressed by this hidden gem!! The pizza is amazing and the charcuterie board had me DROOLING!! The wine is so good as well, obviously. The service is incredible. They really take care of you and make you feel so welcome. It's definitely a good weekend vibe. Will be coming here often this summer. I'm in love.

The wine testing was good, nice verity of red wines, beautiful flavors and I added the one that I liked. We'll probably visit again in the future.

This place is not only gorgeous on the outside, the food is incredible and the service amazing! Plus, their yellow lab mascot is the sweetest! Thank you for a great lunch!

My first introduction to Woodside Vineyard, Woodside, CA was today at lunch at Brunello Ristorante Italiano, Menlo Park, CA, more on them in another review - Yelp 4 Star. Apparently they taste by reservation only, and the wines are in limited production for now. I hear they are stepping up production to 5000 cases soon and opening a tasting room at www.auto-vino.org We had the King's Mountain Cabernet. The color is a very deep ruby red, as it should be with lots of big fruit and mild on the tannin. The wine went very well with the chicken and mushrooms in a red crème sauce. This 2005 Cab is sold out at the winery; I understand some of the local BevMo may have it or your favorite upscale restaurant. In any event, watch for a wider distribution in the future as the winery grows and produces more from the mountain vineyards of Santa Cruz, CA. I am anxious to try their Chardonnay as I overheard a customer saying it was very good and went well with the Ravioli Aurora.

These two gins (and more) are…read moreproduced by Old World Spirits which operates out of a garage in an industrial park in Belmont. Don't judge just because it's an industrial park, this place is a tight, efficient operation and makes great use of it's space. It's got a huge copper still that makes everything from gin to rye whiskey to brandies to absinthe. On Friday nights you can get a tour and tasting for $15. Because of California law, spirits cannot be sold at the distillery, except wine/grape based brandies. The Blade gin is a citrusy gin with a lot of complexity but not much strong juniper flavor that turns most people off. The Rusty Blade is the same Blade gin that is aged in barrels which brings out more cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. It's very much a winter spirit in my opinion. The pear eau de vie brandy really packs a punch with a lot of great pear flavor and though I'm not really a fan of eau de vies this one is a great one. Also, make sure you try the walnut liqueur, based on a Croatian family recipe, for something different. Finally, yes, absinthe, real absinthe, is now legal in the US and you can taste La Sorcière here. It's a great traditional absinthe with a lot of anise flavor. The distiller who gave us the tour and the tasting was really nice and knowledgable. It was a great experience and I encourage everyone to visit once.

A Local Distillery up the road from our LoveNest? Awesome…read more We love bringing our friends in to do tastings on the last Friday of each month! It's $15 for a flight and you get a personalized group tour through each spirit. If it weren't for tasting 6 types of their 94 proof on avg spirits I'm sure I could tell you the names of the guys we had the pleasure of meeting! haha We met the creator of all the fine spirits! He was very laid back and eager to tell us about the processes and flavors he added to his unique creations. Blade Gin was my gateway into being a Gin Lover. I love Blade chilled with a touch of zest of lemon. Another interesting Gin we got to try is his new AGED Gin called Rusty Blade. It's an amber color and tastes like Christmas in a glass! It most certainly warms you from the inside out. I had to shake my head pretty hard to get back to reality after that one. The Absinthe is another wonderful and favored experience. If you're nice they will even let you FAIRIE up your own glass. I love watching my Faeries clouding up the glass. Then that special touch of Lemon Zest again and I'm on Cloud 9. We bought a few bottles this time to give as festive Christmas gifts. Our guests even surprised us with a bottle of Blade (SNEAKY THEY ARE!!) that night when we got back to our place. Apparently I had raved enough about it that they just knew it would make a great host gift as Thankyou for their stay with us over the Holiday weekend. We love going here and will certainly return again over and over. I've never stopped in on a Saturday, but I just might have to check it out. Perhaps the VIP service I already feel like we get there when it's crowded might just put the experience right over the top? Old World Spirits can enter my temple anytime...
